Nice and quiet for a one night stay business trip
10.0
Lovely guesthouse - would definitely stay again! Immaculate facilities, parking-on-site, breakfast cooked to order, comfortable bed and everything that I needed. Owner is very welcoming, without being at all intrusive. Free wifi, tea/coffee in the room as expected. Extra touches such as handmade soaps made it feel special.

Lots of character with beautifully maintained gardens. I particularly enjoyed the peace and quiet of the back garden patio - delightful aroma of spring flowers! Bed was particularly comfortable too. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the host, Ewa - thank you, I will be back!
Can’t think of anything!

I tell you what! Amazing!
Couldn’t fault, not really any constructive criticism other than possible too cheap.
Check experience was second to none, made me feel at ease, couldn’t do enough for me.
Not really used to guesthouse/bnb but I was put at ease immediately and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
Breakfast cooked to order, filtered coffee, best fresh orange think I’ve ever tasted and the best bits of a full English on request.
Honestly, for a business trip you cannot fault this guesthouse

Ewa, the owner was very welcoming, she was friendly with eye for detail and very good cook. We would readily recommend staying at Glencoe Villas.

The room was lovely, the proprietor was helpful and very friendly, the whole guest house was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was amazing, more than enough.
There was nothing about our stay that we didn't like

Very welcoming host. Large, comfortable room. Great breakfast.
On a busy road. Was surprised that my room wasn’t serviced during my stay - would have expected at the very least for bins to be emptied and clean mug daily.

The location was good after a visit to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and on our way to the Lake District. Our host Ewa and her mum were charming and went out of their way to recommend local restaurants . The accommodation was clean and spacious and the cooked breakfast was delicious. We would be very happy to return.

Wonderfully comfortable, easy to find, parking included and a very warm welcome. A fantastic breakfast - real care from the owner and I felt really valued as a guest. It wasn’t a case of nothing being any trouble, my host was thinking about my needs in advance.
Nothing - it was fab

We had a very relaxing stay at the Glencoe Villa Guesthouse. Ewa made us feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable. Great breakfast - sausage, egg, bacon, hash browns, beans, toast, cereal, tea etc. Very homely and traditional overall. While Featherstone overall seemed a bit of a mixed bag, the guesthouse was located in a pleasant part of it - there's a big tree-lined park (featuring a pond) just across the road that was ideal for a morning stroll after breakfast. And a bar and chippie up the road - out of the front gate, turn left, about a minute's walk. Would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.
Can't think of anything I didn't like.

Beautiful house and wonderful host Ewa and not to forget Molly the gorgeous dog.
Fantastic full English breakfast with not a drop of grease on the plate. If ever we're in the area again we'd most certainly stay there. All in all I'd give it 5 stars.
Nothing whatsoever to dislike. Immaculately clean, warm and comfortable.

We were made very welcome. The room was large and beautifully furnished. Very nice breakfast.
We were in a front room looking out over a busy road and there was a lot of traffic noise from early in the morning. Not too bad with the window closed but we like to sleep with a slightly open window to allow fresh air in.

Thhis the second time this has happened to me when booking through Booking.com.
I book a place rated Fabulous??
The bed was freezing it had not been aired.
I was offered a electric heater?
The room should have been warm and the bed aired. After 2 hours of getting colder and colder I walk out. I went to the Inn at Stainly now that place was fabulous
