Beautiful house with great location near the beach, spacious with fully equipped kitchen, balcony visits from Cockatoos, perfect for families and groups, friendly and responsive host.

We enjoyed the space and the location worked for us. But the house was not clean, with fish scales and fishing line in the kitchen and dining room, for example. Some of the windows don't close. Some of the saucepans don't work on the induction stove top. And we didn't realise we would not have access to the room downstairs.

Large area upstairs with a balcony with lots of seating for a large group and a nice private area downstairs for 4 people. Check in was a breeze. Perfect place for a weekend with my children and grandchildren. We had a wonderful stay

Beautiful house with everything we needed. Great location with a short walk to the beach

The property is walking distance up the hill from the Main Street in Lorne which made it handy to get to the event we were staying for. We had plenty of space to sleep everyone and the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking for a large group.
We had visits on the balcony from a few Cockatoos each night around sunset too.

Enjoyed our stay. Traveled with a group and plenty of beds for everyone. Make sure you bring towels (including tea towels).

The owner Li is very friendly and responsive. We bought lots of food to BBQ but BBQ did not work. Li suggested we take the gas bottle to be checked and she would remimburse us but hey we were on holiday and had paid for the BBQ to work. Also, the balcony railings have a safety issue. If kids were playing and pushed on some of the the railings, they would fall 3 metres on concrete or a parked car. It is imperative that these railings are repaired ASAP. We did not allow our grandchildren on the balcony during our stay. One this is fixed, we would stay again.

Always a great stay.

Stay mostly good but was not cleaned before our visit as set in dirt throughout house & musty. Mould in bathroom sinks, broken towel rail and linen supplied was dirty on beds. The kitchen was stocked with 3 wine glasses and one was cracked. Some dining chairs rickety & not able to use. Perhaps need to supply hand soap, matches & basics like salt & pepper. Enough accommodation for family & great deck out front. Good location & comfortable. amenities.

This was our second stay at Li’s and our group enjoyed it just as much as the first. Li’s house is in a great location and has everything needed for a weekend away at Lorne.

A very relaxing stay at a spacious property in a quiet location in the hills surrounding Lorne.

It was a wet Easter weekend, but what better way to spend your days than connecting with great friends in a house ready made for families.

The house is ideal for a group of people to stay together, with sleeping available for 10 in beds (on two levels) and plenty of room for a porta-cot for little ones. Ideal open set-up for enjoying each other's company which opens up onto a a large deck across the front of the property. As I said, a great place to enjoy, and explore, Lorne and all it has to offer.

Good size house in nice quiet location. 10 minutes walk to beach, but uphill getting home! Would stay again.

My friends and I stayed for the mountain to surf run, this place was very easy to check in and had all the amenities we needed! It slept all 8 of us easily with spare beds! The owner was super easy to deal with. Definitely would book again!

The house is in an ok spot. The house was dusty with lots of cob webs. The bbq was unusable and the lawns were not mowed.
The WiFi was not connected.
When we called the host she was very helpful.

The property condition is as per the photos. The property is at the top of the hill. If you know Lorne, this is normal - all properties are up hill pretty much. Area is quiet.
We only used the upstairs area and it was adequate. The place is a bit dated and needs an annual deep clean and update of some appliances but it was functional. The TVs are modern and web connected. Linen was provided and was clean.
The downstairs area is a converted garage. We didn’t use it.

We had a great weekend stay at Lorne. Li was fantastic when I had issues with my phone and accessing check in details. Really appreciated her help and understanding. The house is in a great location and had everything we needed.

I travelled with 4 girlfriends to attend the GOR marathon. There was plenty of room for us all and we found the facilities upstairs to be adequate for our needs. The downstairs bedroom was not useable (very mildewy) but we were comfortably housed upstairs after we opened the windows and doors to let some fresh air in. Very comfortable reclining couch. Ensuite nicely updated. Cooked a number of meals in the kitchen with access to everything we needed.
It was a bonus to have sheets included. Owner gave us generous checkin and check out times.

We were happy with the price but the house was dusty and the smelt very musty.
We asked the receipt with tax invoice from the host until know we didn’t receive yet.
We enjoyed Lorne.

This was excellently what we needed our family group needed multiple bedrooms which this property had. We were in Lorne for a wedding so really didn’t spend a huge amount of time at the house. This accommodation fitted our requirements for the weekend
Communication between the own and I was excellent.

We all liked the place. 10 min walk to beach.
Quiet neighbourhood. Feed the yellow crested cockies from balcony. We all needed a break from this pandemic.
Plenty of beds for 9 adults.

The place is average,
even thought no bath towel no toilet rolls provided....!,
toilet seats were not cleaned when we moved in... we had to clean them prior usage.
Batteries of AC remote controls were missing.
Apart from the above... everything else were adequate.

The location is not too far from the town centre. For the fit, you can walk there and back but, back being uphill. There is tons of space to store large equipment (i.e. surfboards, fishing etc.) inside the house.
The downside unfortunately was it wasn't clean. There is a musky damp smell to the place. So we just left the windows open all the time. I could not find a single clean glass to use, that did not have fingerprints or lip marks on it. I boiled washed only the cups and glasses I was using and kept them out on the draining board and only used them throughout the stay. I bought disposable cutlery as there was still food bits in the knives and forks. The bathroom was not clean. The toilet was dirty and has a broken toilet seat. The dining room furniture is broken, to the extent that some of the broken bits was left out on a table in the main living area. The oven did not appeal to me to cook with so we ate out constantly. The washing machine and dryer are fairly new and worked, but I had to clean out all the sand and fluff out of the filter to use it. Used bars of soap was left in the bathrooms. I instructed the children not to go near them. Not only do you need to bring towels, but you will need hand towels and also bath mats too. There wasn't any cleaning cloths to wipe down the table and chairs outside. No brush either to sweep away any sand spilt from the dryer filter either. So bought my own wipes.
The main door in and out is a large sliding door that opens up into a garage like foyer, with spare furniture. Great for storing your items, however, the lock is a bit lose.
We decided not to stay the extra night I paid for but head home.
Overall, The communication was good, but I was expecting a little more. If you prepare upfront for the above, then you will have a great time here if you are a few families sharing.
There is WiFi, Netflix and Amazon Prime available, so there is enough entertainment for rainy days.

Great stay at Lorne, easy drive to the beach. Lots of room for the kids. Prompt and easy communication with them which was great.

Lots of sleeping options. Great for larger family/families. Bathroom beside kitchen is not ideal. Steep climb from beach to house. Cleaning arrangement needs reviewing.
