About this house rental
If you can imagine the perfect family summer vacation at the sea, you can find it at our bay-side Cape Cod cottage! The 1950's style house is located on a high bluff in East Brewster overlooking the Cape Cod Bay. The views are unbelievable; the vista is constantly changing along with the colors of the water and the clouds. You can watch a storm roll in and experience a rainbow.
We are located in East Brewster, known for the lowest tides on Cape Cod - at low tide, the water retreats for a mile and a half! You can go for a bracing early morning swim, or wait till the tide is high at night when the water is warmer than the air, and it's just you floating under the stars. At low tide you can explore the 'flats' and the creatures that live on and under them: razor clams, quahogs, hermit crabs, sand crabs, snails, minnows, and horseshoe crabs. Families play frisbee, volleyball and wiffle ball on the flats and the bay is ideal for swimming, sailing or water-skiing.
The house itself has been maintained and loved by the same family for 50 years. Although it sleeps up to 11, it has a warm and cosy feeling. You can safely walk or ride your bike to any number of restaurants, coffee shops and stores. You may choose to spend your whole time at 35 Dune Road (you'll find once you're there, you don't want to leave) or you’ll have the whole of Cape Cod to explore!

we had a great time and will return

This oceanfront four bedroom home met all our needs in comfort, space, cleanliness, amenities and location. The home sets high on a sand dune overlooking the beach and ocean, providing the experiences of breathing in the wonderful smells of the ocean breeze while watching a sunset and the rise and ebb of the ocean tides… or hearing the lapping of ocean waves meet the shore before sleep and after just waking up. Not to mention walking down the steps to this beautiful beach below, to further walk the sand flats that are exposed while the tide is ebbing, observing creatures left behind ie. hermit crabs, various types of clams and sea shells etc.
The owner was always very responsive and helpful to any questions I had or requests made.
I would highly recommend this rental property.

Really lovely basic house with steps to a beach. Felt very private with no disturbances from anyone around us. Had all of the things we needed and no issues regarding amenities. Good communication with the owner. Would highly recommend it!

Very much as advertised. We came the week leading up to Memorial Day weekend and pretty much had the beach to ourselves. Views are great. Home has a warm, camp-like feel. In a good way. The neighborhood is great and Brewster is a great town. Would return for sure.

Such a beautiful location! Enjoyed walks on the beach, drinks at sunset on the deck and cozy nights around the table playing games with the family. A wonderful relaxing long weekend with family!

We had a fantastic time with our dogs at this property. It has everything you need to be comfortable and you cannot beat the location next to the beach and some great restaurants nearby. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect vacation!
My family and I loved this house snd location! Could not ask for a better location. We had a view of the ocean from every room. My son, who’s 7, loved exploring all the tide pools at low tide, and the water was warm enough to swim at high tide, but still shallow enough my little swimmer was safe. We found so many crabs, horseshoe crabs, and was able to use the net and beach toys provided to catch and release some. There are ticks in the grass, but ticks are really high this year everywhere. Owner provided bug spray, and thankfully aloe. Easy rules to follow, and great instruction provided. I would love to return!

A quiet getaway
If you want a private beach , and I mean private then this is the place. Literally nobody shares the property and access to your private beach on Cape Cod Bay in Brewster . Million dollar view ! The owner is awesome and very helpful with any questions you might have about the area and property. Our 3rd time staying there ! I just love the privacy !

Amazing views from all north-facing windows
The house was built in 1955, so the interiors reflect that era of building style and show their age. But it is located 70 steps above Cape Cod Bay, which was our highest priority, and we loved watching the tide come in and out, as well as exploring the beach and flats.
We had ample room for our group of 7. The kitchen has plenty of pots, pans, dishes, and glassware for eating in.
We loved the experience of staying on and exploring Cape Cod, and this was the perfect home base for us!

Beautiful view!
A wonderful family weekend with grown daughters and their husbands. Enjoyed fun family dinners on the deck and evenings together in the open family room. The host, Thaddeus was quick to respond to questions and extremely helpful with information. The view is amazing!! So enjoyed the view and walks on the beach right in front of the house. Sunsets and sunrises! A beautiful location!

We had a wonderful week at this great home on Cape Cod Bay. All was exactly as described in the listing and check in was super easy. Everything was clean and ready for us to enjoy the week. The views are truly spectacular and we really enjoyed the peaceful private beach and beautiful sunsets. Convenient location to shopping, restaurants and other Cape towns. Perfect Cape trip
We had the most amazing time at this beautiful Cape house. The location is everything. We essentially never left the property and that was perfect with 2 small children. Being able to explore the Brewster flats was such a treat. The house itself was lovely, with comfortable beds and the kitchen had every pot/pan/cooking spoon we needed. I can’t recommend this spot more highly.

Beautiful, calm retreat on the Cape!
You get a vibe from a rental house, and this one was that of relaxation and a beautiful view over Cape Cod Bay! You can't escape the view, whether in the kitchen, living room, master bedroom, or even the bathrooms. Relaxation, great view and steps away from the Bay, all as advertised. The rules were brief and clear, the owner was responsive. All good!

Amazing cozy get away!
Our stay at the Woolrych House was amazing! The house was clean and cozy and the owner was awesoem and he was available to answer any questions we had about the property/the area. The views of sunset over the bay were breathtaking! When the tide goes out it goes out for a mile and half, leaving behind small pools of warm water to swim and explore. The kids had a great time collecting critters (hermit crabs etc). Our family had an awesome time and we will absolutely be back next year!

Amazing week!
This house is a great find! Quiet street& the views of the ocean are just incredible! The steps to the beach were easier than anticipated, my mom has knee problems and she did really well! The beach is incredible and if you love exploring a beach during low tides and love sand bars this beach is for you! The house itself had plenty of furniture& bedrooms were perfect for us! We would absolutely stay again! Our only problem was there was no key in the lockbox for us to get in when we go there, but I called Thaddeus who responded immediately and his dad came over to let us in and give us his key for the week, he was very kind. We lucked out and had perfect weather! Thank you for such an incredible week!

Excellent
We enjoyed our fall stay in Brewster. Owner was great introducing us to the home and making us feel comfortable for our stay. Older house but well kept, clean and very relaxing. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed walks on the beach, sunsets from the deck and even a nice camp fire on the beach one night. Plenty of things to see and do including dinning all close by. Would recommend this house to anyone !!

Perfect, casual stay in a balmy, October week
Relaxed, informal house with older, comfortable furnishings. Small but very well equipped kitchen. Having our own beach at the bottom of the stairs was great. Low water depth and sand flats were perfect for a toddler. Owner very helpful.

Cape Cod Bay Flats
Excellent location, even though the home was older a lot of charm and the owner was in constant contact to ensure everything was in order

This sweet summer cottage overlooking the bay is a dream come true. The beach is outside your doorstep. The stairs are a bit tricky if you have mobility issues but worth the trek. The location was great for little shops, restaurants and cape cod culture! The rooms are nicely sized. Two bathrooms was great! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and clean! Outdoor shower was LOVELY!! Honestly, I can’t say enough about this place. It was a perfect escape. The Hart/Woolrych Family have done an impeccable job a upkeep.

This charming Cape Cod house sits on a bluff overlooking the most beautiful part of Cape Cod, the bay side of Brewster. It is a 5 min walk down the stairs to the beach which was incredible. The low tides go out very far, which also makes for amazing walks on the beach, and exploration of birds and sea life. The house itself was very comfortable. I stayed there with my spouse, parents, and brother. The mattresses were good ( an important detail!), everything was clean, and it was perfectly equipped with everything we needed including beach chairs and an inflatable kayak. Thaddeus made himself very available and the check in and check out process were both super easy. We had a great time! This house is a true gem and we will be making our reservation for next year ASAP.

An older home, not updated but makes up for it with beautiful views and easy access to the Brewster Flats.

Waterfront heaven
A cozy and very comfortable if slightly ramshackle home that leaves nothing to be desired if all you want from your Cape Cod vacation is beachfront, quiet, sunsets, and a sense of how lucky you are to experience the exquisite breadth of the Brewster Flats. In the fewest words, a truly special place.

Wonderful stay!
I can't say enough what a wonderful stay I had here. The views are spectacular, and the home feels like...home. For me, the location was great. Close to my favorite coffee shop, the Snowy Owl, and close to the Cape Rail Trail, several ponds for fishing, and all the places I like to go hear music when I'm there. I'd like to stay there again if only long enough to read all the books on the bookshelf. The owners were very pleasant and responsive. Hope I can make it back to this spot sometime soon!

Perfect family vacation in a lovely home right on the best private beach on the Cape!
Lovely home. Clean and well appointed. The rooms were just as described and there was something for everyone. The location was fantastic. We are a west coast family but have some family in Europe and the UK so Cape Cod is the perfect meeting spot in between, and this home in particular, on this fabulous beach was absolutely perfect!!! We have an 8 year old and generally she can’t swim in our Pacific Ocean beaches because of the riptides and currents. She was thrilled to be able to walk around in the tide pools, examine some of the sea life, and swim here. We loved the use of the kayak and played beach games. We enjoyed dining al fresco on the patio with the amazing views overlooking the ocean and beach. The adults had evening wine on the lounge chairs. There are board games and kids toys. We had a lovely dinner (took an Uber) at Ocean Terrace and walked back on the beach. Also had two casual meals at Rock Harbor in Orleans which were very good. Bought beautiful seafood (salmon, lobster and cod) at the shop right in front of Rock Harbor and cooked at “home.” This owner has thought of it all and the house is just lovely. If you want a vacation of a lifetime, here it is. We will definitely return!
Thank you Thaddeus!

We had a great weekend in Brewster and the beach was perfect. When the tides went out the kids had a wonderful time digging in the sand and collecting rocks, hermit crabs, and even fish in the pools of water. Would definitely recommend the home to others.
