Perfekter Start in den ersten Indien Urlaub

Das großartige Zimmer mit Terrasse, das freundliche willkommen, herlliches Frühstück und Abendessen. Die Tour durch old Delhi mit dem Gastgeber, die Hilfsbereitschaft, wundervolle erste Tage für Indien Neulinge!! Gerade als alleinreisende Frau perfekt. Sichere, angenehme Gegend!

a nice and quiet respite from chaotic Delhi

a little off the beaten path in a very suburban residential neighborhood made for some difficulty in finding food options but the location was also the best aspect of the stay given the chaos of more condensed Delhi

A really lovely homestay in a calmer residential part of Delhi. Sagar and his family are so friendly, welcoming and helpful and the home-cooked food was delicious. There are also good cafes and restaurants a short walk/tuk tuk ride away

Happy Holi in New Delhi

Quiet family-run B&B. We arrived early in Delhi by train and could check in a bit earlier. We really enjoyed the good home-made food. Spacious clean room. There is a kitchen for guests to prepare tea or coffee any time. The biggest surprise for us was the Holi celebration with other guests and the family. With natural colours, lots of water, delicious traditional snacks and lunch and a lot of fun. Thank you so much for that!

Right @HOME

A beautiful home run by a warm family and got a warm welcome from them. The process was smooth and once done was shifted to the first floor where thy room was. One can say it is kind of an apartment suite with a fully equipped kitchen and a living and dining room. The room was nice, big, and very clean (being my priority). Being a home property, they close up the gates by 11:00 PM. I had been out for dinner, but Gagan was quite gracious to open the doors around midnight. Thanks for such great hospitality.

Nice clean rooms and the owners are very kind and welcoming. We had a dinner that was made by the lady of the house and it was delicious. They even arranged for us a taxi to the airport. It is also very nice area. Definitely would choose again to stay here.

Charming place + thoughtful lovely family = Felt like a delightful warm hug

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Prakash Kutir. Sagar and his family were incredibly kind and thoughtful hosts- going above and beyond when we came down for meals and conversation, while also respecting our privacy. Definitely do the walking tour of Old Delhi that they offer!! We loved that the room had an adjoining deck and was so close to the metro. This place is even complete with amazing Blue Tokai coffee around the corner ! Definitely recommend.

I truly can't think of anything we didn't enjoy.

Nice homestay in Delhi

Nice homestay in a safe and good neighbourhood of Delhi. We were there as a family with 8 persons and that worked out well. Perfect hosts. Lovely Indian breakfast too.

The location and professionalism of the host! The room was spacious and comfortable.

The WiFi was slow or nonexistent which unfortunately drained our mobile data. It might be worth investing in a high speed package. The AC was noisy.

A very pleasant place to stay in a green area away from the noise of Delhi

very secure property within a gated community as an older solo female I felt very safe Everywhere was very clean and you have the use of a fully equipped kitchen The room was spacious comfortable and very quiet with a small balcony I would recommend and stay here again

Amazing

Staff, amenities, location, comfortable. Big rooms, attached kitchen, bathroom and another bigger shared kitchen. Hosts were excellent and very cooperative and went out of their way to make stay comfortable. Outstanding value for money

The best place to stay when visiting Delhi!

The best part about this homestay are the family that own it. We felt so welcome when we first arrived. They went above and beyond to help us with anything that we needed - information about how to use the metro, places we should visit, how to get to places, where the nearest shops/atms were, what taxis to use from the airport and what cost we should expect to pay, booking us a taxi to get to the train station… the list goes on! Our room was perfect. We had breakfast with the family every morning and it was different every day so we got to enjoy different food. We also booked a food walking tour of Old Delhi with Sager who had a wealth of knowledge of the area and took us to many traditional food places we would have never found on our own. The food was delicious and it was a fantastic introduction to India as first-time visitors. We hope we can come back soon! Thank you so much 😁

A bit disappointing

Situated in a very nice and quiet neighbourhood with spacious rooms and good aircon. The owners are lovely and the communal kitchen is great.

We were recommended to stay at Parkash Kutir but it didn’t live up to our expectations. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and very hard. The upstairs terrace was unusable and covered in washing, used more like a storage space than a terrance. The closure of the neighbourhood gate between 5pm-8pm and after 11pm is a bit annoying. The breakfast was okay a bit expensive for what you get. Overall it was good, but not what we were expecting.

Prakash Kutir's location is excellent - centrally located from all sightseeing and shopping spots. Hosts go out of their way to make your stay exceptional.

That despite having a big balcony that came with my room I couldn't enjoy it because of the hot weather during my stay in Delhi.

I love free spaces in properties, the terrace & garden spaces were comfortable, but they could upgrade a little, could add in few more amenities.

the room was comfortable enough, but they can put in a TV and a cupboarb🙂
