My teenage son and I had a great experience staying here overnight. The small apartment was clean and was supplied with everything we needed. All communication with owner was friendly and super helpful. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

My husband and I were very impressed with this apartment! It was super clean and comfortable and was as advertised. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it had a microwave in addition to the refrigerator. It was just an overnight stay for us, but we feel that it would be great for a longer stay. It was certainly a great value....getting an entire apartment for less money than you would get a motel room. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet and we had no problems communicating with the owner. We recommend this property!

Private three room space - bedroom, bathroom, living room (with TV, sofa, table/chairs, refrigerator, microwave). Bed is comfortable. TV had plenty of channels (other reviewers said it only received one channel). Tub is unusually high, but there's a non-skid mat to step out on. Coffee (instant) and tea provided. I would have prefered a Keurig machine or drip coffeemaker, but I wasn't paying for a hotel so just having coffee was a bonus. Bedroom could use a fresh coat of paint, but it was very clean. Parking provided in driveway. Deadbolt lock requires key on both sides, so I recommend leaving key in the lock from the inside at night to facilitate egress in case of an emergency. This space delivered everything it promised and for a good price. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Property was very convenient location for our needs. Grateful these kinds of rentals are available because sometimes you just don't need all the fluff or hassle of a hotel. Nice neighborhood, quiet, easy parking, private entrance. Great bed! Nice fridge, shower, fwork desk. Very clean. Funky decor (%retro). Another review complaint about the cracked marble coffee table ( really? Who cares!). Host was extremely responsive to messages as I had a bit of confusion with the app & Guest instructions at first. The only other thing I would suggest was perhaps a regular chair in the living room and small stool or chair in the bedroom. Also a lamp of some type in the living room would be helpful vs just the overhead light. Otherwise it was fine overall. Thanks!

The bed was fine and the space was fine, but I had concerns from the first. I would have preferred the ability to lock access into my area I was staying in as I was a single female for the first 2 nights and then with my sister for the last 3 nights. The door that went to the upstair portion of the house was accessible to the other occupants of the house. I asked the owner about this the first night and she assured me only she had a key to the door and it was just her parents upstairs, but I would still like to have been able to lock my door from my side. To access lights inside, you had to walk all the way into the unit to find a light switch. Paint was missing from the walls(had been sprayed with bleach) and graffitti added to the ceiling of the smaller bedroom (hot pink and visible when you looked up). Scented pinecones in every corner. Coffee table top had broken granite and furniture was excessive and reduced walkway space. Cleaning supplies sitting all over the bathroom. Shower was elevated and creaky. Shower curtain bar was rusty. Overall, it seemed like a homemade finished basement with finishing touches left undone. The TV had only 1 channel. Tenants upstairs could easily be heard walking around. It served us for our purpose of needing a place to sleep and shower, but I will not use this again as it was not what I expected.

my better half didn't like that there wasn't a TV in the bedroom & the TV in the Living area only had channel 8. also kinda slippery getting out of the shower/tub because of the step. I have to say the place was as described and very comfortable the bed was luscious.

It was very clean and comfortable. The owner was very very kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there and we highly recommend this place to anyone needs a comfortable setting. Great beds

A couple things I would change. I would add a few lamps in the livingroom, as I did not care for the overhead lighting in that room. Perhaps a toaster-also in the kitchen The tv was nice but to far from major stations to pick up much reception. All this being said, the place was nice with enough space and was a very good price and value. Safe location as I grew up in Waterbury and that town isn’t I would stay again..
