About this apartment rental
Located on the cliff top of Porto de Mos, this stunning ground floor apartment has endless uninterrupted sea views due to its elevated position & creative garden landscaping, set in a peaceful area on the outskirts of the beautiful town of Lagos. This recently built property is furnished to an exceptionally high standard, with a modern yet eminently comfortable style and equipped with everything you might need for your stay. It is fully air conditioned with a very large south facing terrace for sun bathing and outdoor dining. A small gate from the soacious terrace provides direct access to the beautifully landscaped sub tropical gardens & shared outdoor pool, as well as the indoor leisure complex - complete with gym, jacuzzi spa, sauna and heated indoor swimming pool (26C), all of which overlook the ocean.
The apartment has fibre broadband internet access and all UK TV channels including Sky sports & movies.
Comfortable terrace seating & fully reclining sunbeds are provided as well as additional poolside sun beds. Full use of the equipped Gym, heated Indoor pool, jacuzzi spa and sauna are also included. Weekly Cleaning / maid service & all Towels & Linen including pool towels are provided.
We can accommodate couples or larger families as we have 2 apartments.
The stunning beach of Porto De Mos is only 5 minutes walk away as well as two wonderful beach front restaurants. A few minutes in the car or by local bus you are in the centre of the historic town of Lagos with its maze of cobbled streets and colourful market square offering a large variety of restaurants, bars, cafés, shopping and markets. Or stroll along the promenade to the Marina complex and admire the luxury yachts whilst relaxing with a drink over lunch at one of the many marina bars or restaurants.
Great for watersports enthusiasts : boat hire, sailing, surfing, water skiing, paddle boarding, fishing & wakeboarding all nearby.
Lagos is a really lovely resort surrounded by numerous beautiful sandy beaches & hidden coves, a modern Marina, and an historic old walled town centre. The town centre itself has cobbled streets free of traffic with literally hundreds of street cafes and bars, and numerous quality shops many selling local crafts. In the evening the town is bustling & vibrant with atmospheric street cafes and a variety of small market stalls and live entertainment.
Lagos beach has been voted by Conde Nast traveller magazine as 'the best beach in the world!,' but as well as stunning beaches..... the lively old town is crammed with restaurants, bars and classy gift shops...... there are also Fishing boat trips , sailing sightseeing trips & dolphin watching trips of which can all be taken from the marina. Numerous quality golf courses are close by & a choice of two modern water parks are also within easy reach for a day trip. The picturesque little fishing village of Alvor is only 15 minutes away by car. The town of Portimao is about 20 minutes away by car and has some stunning large sandy beaches with a long board walk at the rear of the beach with many beach bars. Portimao also has a new shopping mall and a large retail outlet park. Inland from the coast, North of Lagos, the terrain rises toward the mountainous area of Monchique with its natural spas and lush green countryside.
The climate here is just beautiful with day long sunshine typical from March right through to October and even in the remaining months, warm sunny days are the norm.

Beautiful place. And oh, that view! Very comfortable setting and neighborhood. Parking is fabulous - right in front of the ground floor condo. All the kitchen amenities you could ask for. Nice layout. Comfy common areas, with a nice couch and great dining room table set. And the outdoor area is amazing! The beds were hard for me, so I actually ended up adding one of the lounger cushions to help. It worked well. My one complaint would be the bathrooms. They lack sufficient lighting and the primary bedrooms bath/shower is so elevated, I was nervous getting in and out, so I tried the other bathrooms shower and found it way too small to bathe, let alone shave my legs. No place to put any toiletries either. A few hooks would be welcome in both baths. So there is room for improvement there, but all in all a lovely stay. I would definitely recommend the nearby restaurant, Amorizade. The food, people and atmosphere - fabulous! Also, for a light breakfast or lunch, we found Cafetaria Aqui Há Gato nice. Locals frequent the place, so thats saying something! Also, if you are up for a short drive, an afternoon tasting amazing wine over beautiful charcuterie with a fabulous sommelier at Vila Vita Parc’s Cave de Vinhos. Reservations a must. Cost is approx 85 Euros pp, but so worth it! Lagos is a great place to visit and this condo is an Awesome home base! Thank you for everything!

Was very well maintained, well equipped with all necessary amenities . We felt secure and comfortable. We loved the deck and amazing view. Alex and Marie were always quick to respond and helpful, Location is convenient with lots to do, loved the walking trail, best to have a car for access to markets, beaches, shopping, etc.

Luxurious condo overlooking the Atlantic with nearby trails to the property and coastline. We appreciated the ease of check in and thoughtful touches with water and a bottle of wine. The condo was clean and comfortable, and less than five minutes from restaurants and a grocery store. We would definitely stay again!

Our family spent four nights at this rental property and just loved our stay. Check-in and communication with the property manager over WhatsApp was easy and efficient. The views from the terrace were spectacular and the proximity to the walking trails and beach was amazing. The outdoor pool was cool (May), but the additional indoor pool was warmer, and our kids enjoyed both. We would stay here again if we came back to Portugal. The location is also very close to an excellent InterMarche grocery store and a short drive to downtown Lagos. The area is clean and feels safe.

We have stayed in this very impressive condo several times and have thoroughly enjoyed all. The ever changing sky and sea, all in peaceful quiet from the lovely balcony are so restful. Alex, Samantha and Andrea have all been very helpful and kind. We are grateful for their thoughtful care.

We really enjoyed our stay in Lagos. The unit was the perfect size for two couples, and the views were spectacular.
The unit is a short drive from all the area has to offer.
Maria met us on arrival and gave us a thorough walk through of the property and it’s amenities. We had a couple of questions during our stay, and she was very responsive.
I would definitely recommend this property and we hope to return!

We had a lovely time here. Would definitely go back and stay here. Very easy to get around Lagos. Property manager was awesome-walked us thru the condo and pool area.

The view is beautiful. The management team is great. They were able to get us in earlier on the day we checked in which was much appreciated. The unit was functional. Nothing great. The master bedroom is listed as a King bed but is a “European King” which is a queen bed for us in North America. That was the most disappointing part of the unit. The deck was amazing and the pool and view were also great. The unit is a bit far from the main city area. We took cabs and with tip were about $10 each way. Most cab drivers had trouble figuring out where we were staying. We had to explain ot a few times and just showed the address in our email from management. If you have a car then the parking and location is great for that.

A beautiful apartment with a huge balcony overlooking the pool and sea. Helpful property manager with great communication and helped with booking transfers. They were also able to accommodate our early arrival. We didn’t hire a car which was fine for us as we don’t mind a walk - about 30-40mins to the old town of Lagos with some restaurants/cafes after about a 20min walk. Taxi back from the old town was only €7. Minimarket/supermarket is a 20min walk with hills - we didn’t mind this at all. Two lovely restaurants on the beach just 5/10min walk down the cliff path - you need to book. We did the kayaking tour from the beach which was fantastic - quite a long paddle but worth it. The apartment is modern, clean, really spacious and well equipped. Might not suit very young, noisy children - one of the other apartment owners complained about another family because they were making too much noise having fun in the pool! We had a wonderful time - relaxing, beautiful views and great apartment. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to family and friends.

Absolute luxury right on the beach and hills. Best view you could ever ask for and a beautifully updated condo in a very quiet and upscale building. Would Absolutely stay here again and again if we find ourselves in Lagos. We could sit on the deck for hours and not notice the time passing by. Thanks for having us and thanks to our wonderful hosts.

Every day a fantastic view to enjoy in a beautifully maintained complex with a pool area.
But even a dream house needs an update.
Beds and couch as well as parts of the bathroom and the kitchen are getting old and should be renewed. The cleanliness could be better.

Beautiful place at the ocean's edge
We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at Porte de Mos. Our 2 bedroom unit was in great condition with a fantastic view of the pool and the ocean. Our family of 5 enjoyed eating dinner and breakfast on the large balcony. We had an issue with the toaster and it was quickly replaced. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient. It was a fairly short walk to the beach, and we had some tasty fish at Antonio's restaurant. Lagos was a fun town to explore. The supermarket was a short drive and had everything we needed.

Perfection
Amazing apartment in quiet location though near the beach. Everything in the apartment is high end and we wanted for nothing. We have been on numerous holidays to the Algarve but our stay at the Ocean View surpassed our expectations by far, the best yet. Maria met us at the apartment on arrival and was extremely helpful. We also met the owners while there as they also have the apartment upstairs. Lovely couple and we will definitely be going back.
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful apartment, it made our 25th Wedding Anniversary even more special.

We had an amazing time at this wonderful apartment, waking up to that view everyday was stunning. Apartment was very clean with everything you could need provided. Ventured out to Lagos on a couple of evenings & used the beach restaurants just 5 minutes walk away, both excellent but I would recommend booking. We had a fantastic stay & would love to return.

Nice walk to beach restaurants and hiking trails along the bluff. Unfortunately we lost three days due to COVID 19 virus emergency & our need to quickly to return stateside as flights were being canceled. Requested adjustment with no response from owner. Andrea the property manager was very Responsive and helpful

This the third year that we (myself, wife and daughter) have stayed here and each time gets better. It is a lovely, comfortable apartment in a truly spectacular setting. One can hardly comprehend the ever changing vista from the huge balcony. The owner has been so patient with our changes and queries, and Andrea the local manager has been continuously helpful. Great apartment, marvellous location
This apartment is lovely with a view of the swimming pool and sea. It has a huge terrace which has a gate going down to the pool area, along with 4 sunbeds, a couple of armchairs and a table to eat at. Cushions inside the apartment. Sunbeds for around the pool are also provided. No need to bring any towels as hand towels, bath towels (not very large), large black towels for use outside around the pool and large beach towels are all provided. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and is very well stocked. An easy 5-10 minute walk down to the beach but an uphill return walk. No problem at all if you don’t have issues walking - it’s an easy hill. 2 restaurants on the beach too and use of toilets without having to go to the restaurants as they are situated just outside. Free (at least they are in December) with no pay machine or anyone outside them. The beach is a great surf beach but also good for kids. Loads of parking for cars in either the underground car park or just outside the apartments. The supermarket, which has everything you could wish for (intermarche - best I’ve come across, was dubious as ones elsewhere have mostly been bad). Definitely need a car unless not going anywhere but hiring a car was cheap for us 13 -21 December. There is a gym, sauna, whirlpool and indoor swimming pool too. Everything great apart from check-in, which in itself was good and covered every detail but I couldn’t see anywhere that it cost an extra €25 if check-in was after 10pm or €50 if after mid-night. No mention of it when I asked the owner if after 10pm would be ok. I would have preferred to just get the keys, eaten and gone to bed and had the half hour check-in talk the next day. We have a teenager but would not want this with toddlers and as it was, after our late check-in, teenager was starving of course! The actual check-in told us everything we needed to know andwasmeasynand good, just too late and had we arrived after midnight, would have been the last thing we wanted and have to pay an extra €50 for the privilege! The weather has been awful but that is not the fault of the apartment!!!

Fantastic view / Accommodations
Excellent property including everything you need for an exceptional vacation. Beach was a 5 minute walk & close to a great cliff walk overlooking the ocean. Lagos was very close and easy to get to. Alex, the property manager, was extremely helful. Highly recommend.

The property was spotless just as the marketing described. The views from the terrace are stunning over looking the pool ,immaculate grounds and sea. The terrace is large, providing good sunbathing/shade , seating and dinning facilities. A short 10 minute walk to the beach (stunning , clean and safe) where you find two beach restaurants /Bars serving good quality food.

Relaxing Stay
The apartment was well appointed and had a great view. We had a very relaxing month here and would definitely return. There were a few issues with the TV but the propertymanager, Andrea, resolved them quickly. Andrea provided great help coordinating private drivers and even purchased some essential food stuffs for us before we arrived.
