Emplacement catastrophique
5.0
Very close to the train station
4.5

This place is really handy if you're travelling by train (turn left out of the station, left through the tunnel, left and left) and a short walk from the centre of La Spezia. You can't hear the trains if you keep the windows closed. The owner is friendly and helpful and the bathroom is great. The aircon worked a treat. Nice touch that they leave you a plug-in thing to keep the mosquitoes at bay and there's a kettle in the room. For breakfast, you can use your voucher at a choice of places and it's OK, especially if you go to C'est Bon rather than Elite.
The rooms are a bit tight for space on one side and I'm covered in bruises after my stay here after banging into the sharp corners of the bed mutiple times. The hairdryer was a bit frustrating to use too and it didn't work well. Finally, if the guests in nearby rooms are noisy as they were for us, you hear everything.

It was ideal for a two night stop over. Five minutes from the Centre and train station and fifteen minute walk to the Port. Our host Alessandro was exceptionally helpful. I highly recommend this apartment.
Our apartment was on the second floor and there is no lift in the building. It was not a problem for us but just a tip.

The location was good and the owner was really instructive and kind. The rooms was good as well, the only thing that could be a problem if you bring big luggage is that there is not elevator but overall was good choice. Near the train station.

I like the whole arrangement of the room.
The bed makes a lot of noise 😂

Location was convenient to town and train. Host was communicative and helpful.
Heating arrangement (air conditioning unit) was ineffective. TV didn’t work in one room. Shower was not great. more bedding (blankets) would have been appreciated.

Great location close to the train station and downtown. Easy to find. Host was great good communication and had very helpful tips. Clean and newly renovated rooms and bathrooms.

Very close to train station and although the view is on the train track we were not disturbed by any noise, so location is very convenient to exploring Cinque Terre. Alessandro sent detailed self check in instructions which is like an exciting puzzle, you get a key to your room with breakfast vouchers at the end! Host's suggestions on exploring the area were very helpful as was the advice to book restaurants - we never got to try recommended pizza place as it was full on both nights. Even though we did not meet the host, everything was well thought of and smooth, highly recommend. Modern room, comfortable bed, kettle and tea/coffee in the room. We will be back as Cinque Terre is just wonderful.
Wish coffee and croissant was a bit nicer at the cafe on the square.. Felt a bit sorry for husband to carry suitcase up the stairs but he did not mind!

it was handy for train station.
very nice modern bathroom . breakfast in cafe was ok. impersonal ! only met owner to pay up.
too many steps to climb to get to accommodation! no lift! had to pay 15 euros per day to park. very difficult to find - instructions weren’t clear! bedside tables were a piece of worktop!!! furnishings sparse!

Staff is extremely nice and professional😁
The property is without elevator😅 which is quite difficult for the travellers who have big luggages. Fortunately Alessandro is so kind to help us bring our luggages from the room to downstairs.

I booked a last minute stay to see La Spezia and Cinque Terre with my family and Alessandro was very accommodating when we needed to make changes to our booking and gave great suggestions on what to see, how to travel, and where to eat. The building was in a great location about a 4 minute walk to the station and they had big Monopoly signs to guide you to the property once you walk through the tunnel to get there. The room was clean and secure with key card access and we were able to change the air conditioner settings easily. For breakfast, I’d recommend using the vouchers at the café in the piazza if you’ve got time but if you’re in a rush to catch a train, it’s great that you can also use the vouchers in a café in the train station. The vouchers got each of us an orange juice, cappuccino, and croissant there which was perfect.

Excellent location for La Spezia central train station and to explore the surrounding area. Very quick and easy to get to Cinque Terre. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for a short stay, including a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Communication with Alessandro was fabulous - providing lots of information about the area including recommending restaurants and the best way to purchase tickets to save time queueing. Breakfast was included and vouchers were exchanged in a cafe in the train station. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
Nothing.

clean, very close to train station and centre

Very close to city center and to the train station. The room is very clean in general, only not clean enough to be barefoot. Also, Alessandro is very nice and was always available in whatsapp. Cunqueterre is minutes away by train and very very beautiful!
The breakfast options are limited (croissant or focaccia, and types of coffees) but one is inside the station which is very practical if you are going to catch the train. Besides, since Alessandro was not there due to personal matters, we lost sometime trying to understand what we should do to self check-in. However, I believe this was a temporary situation and Alessandro is always available through whatsapp to answer questions anyway.

Close to the station and main streets. Clean.
Really just a simple hotel where you never see the staff. Noisy trains.
