NEW LISTING- At Hoodwood it is all good in this neighborhood, as you will quickly see. This charming 1920 cottage has been restored along with the its neighboring cottages making it a close knit community. Often neighbors gather on each others porches or walk downtown for coffee, dinner, or shopping. Our popular Downtown is only three blocks away. This cottage is tastefully decorated by Nan Myers, who is the owner of Firefly, which has been lighting up Downtown Thomasville, GA. for over twenty years. Hoodwood is a little tongue in cheek as the decor gives a subtle nod to Robin Hood and to Mr. Rogers all at the same time. The point being that we want you to feel apart of our neighborhood and apart of Thomasville, GA. during your stay. Inside we have created a cottage that is cozy, comfortable and good-looking. Each bedroom has high end sheets, blankets, and comforters encouraging a restful night. We have two queens and a pair of twins. Kitchen is fully stocked including our favorite coffee from Crested Butte, Colorado. We encourage you to pick up cheeses from Sweetgrass Dairy, yummy casseroles from Relish ( we love the Wild game), bagels and smears from Empire Bagel.

How can I even begin to describe how fabulous Hoodwood is?! From the moment we booked until the moment we departed, EVERYTHING was SPOT ON. The communication was immediate and positive , the check in was seamless. The fridge held our most precious possession- Cream for the ALSO provided amazing coffee!!!! Now this is a woman after my HEART!!! This home is perfectly appointed and the moment you enter, you are HOME. The location not only allows you to be on Broad Street in minutes, but also gives you the feeling that you are a part of the neighborhood and invites you to enjoy your coffee on the porch while chatting with neighbors. In other words, you are right downtown while still being nestled in a cozy neighborhood - did I say it was the BEST of ALL WORLDS?! If you are seeking a getaway filled with southern charm and hospitality, look no further - you are there!!!

The property managers are fantastic. They live next door to this rental and were accommodating when we arrived. The home is historical and older but has a great feel and is full of warmth. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in Thomasville. It is walking distance to downtown nightlife.

I grew up in Thomasville but do not get back there often enough. Hoodwood is an adorably restored cottage from the early 1900s outfitted with all of the modern amenities from top of the line appliances to fast Wifi and smart TVs. It's location is perfect just a couple of blocks from Thomasville's historic downtown. The hosts were amazing and the check-in-check-out process was a breeze. I couldn't recommend this place more for families or couples looking to stay a short walk from the best Thomasville has to offer. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better option.

This property is perfect for your trip to Thomasville! It is a charming, older home a short walk to the downtown shops and restaurants. Nan went out of her way to make our stay comfortable - gifting us a bag of whole bean coffee from her favorite coffee shop and compiling a list of her favorite places to eat in the area. (Can I say she nailed the recommendations? I'm still in a food coma.) Definitely check this property out if you're in the area!

The house is a few blocks from the downtown shops and restaurants. The neighborhood and house are in a safe and quiet location and the home is beautifully decorated and maintained. The property owner communicates all information. I will stay here every time I visit Thomasville.

I was attending my nephew’s wedding and stayed here with my two nieces and significant other! Wonderful location and truly loved the home! Very spacious. It doesn’t say this in the listing but all bedrooms are attached to a bathroom. The master has its own private en-suite and the other two bedrooms have a Jack and Jill bathroom. Their coffee they provided was the BEST I have had in a long time and I will be ordering some from Colorado! Great property!!!

We had a really great time at the house, unfortunately for just a long weekend. We’ll definitely be back the house is lovely and has everything one needs, including very comfortable beds. It’s super close to loads of shops and restaurants, and walking through town is easy. The house is also near some great biking trails, both paved and dirt. Nan and her husband are a wealth of information about local biking paths. We can’t wait to return. Thanks Nan!!

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute at Hoodwood. The adorable home is in a quiet neighborhood that is conveniently blocks from the historic downtown that is filled with delicious restaurants and lovely boutiques. Tastefully decorated and thoughtfully stocked with the essentials, we enjoyed restful nights of sleep and delicious coffee in the mornings. The front porch was a great place to gather with friends and family or just read a book.

Girls Weekend in Thomasville

This property was absolutely perfect for us on our annual Girls Weekend, which just so happened to coincide with Galentines/Valentines as well. The house is beautifully decorated, has plenty of room for 4-6 people, and was very clean and had all amenities needed for a lovely stay. Bonus is that it is very close to downtown, and if it's a nice day, you could easily walk. We decided to drive so we had places to put all our many packages. Such great shopping and great food in downtown Thomasville! I would recommend this property for its charm and its location and the host was very kind and very responsive.

Hoodwood is absolute perfection! Beautifully decorated and appointed and located in the Thomasville Historic District so you can walk everywhere. Our host Nan was wonderfully accommodating and even provides (really exceptional) coffee and cream for guests to enjoy during their stay. Loved all of the historic details of this home and it is just so cute and comfy! We will definitely be back soon!
