About this house rental
This 4 bedrooms house is located in a small, private, safe community called Villa Palmira. This area is known by many tourists due to the fact that it is a part of the Humacao natural reserve. Humacao is a small, touristic shore town located at the east side of the island (45 minutes driving away from the San Juan airport) with easy access to many water sport activities and only a 25 minute ride from the Fajardo area which is where the ferrys to the beautiful islands of Culebra and Vieques, these two small islands part of Puerto Rico have been rated to have 1 of the top 20 most beauitful beaches in the world, are situated. Villa Palmira also has its own beach which is walking distance away from this property. This property has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms(one of the bedrooms is seperate, by the pool, for groups that would prefer to all have their privacy. It is fully equipped for an amazing vacation and the best reference I could provide any of my future tenants with is one of my other properties which I have been renting for many years in the same community which happens to be one of the top rated vacation properties in the area, feel free to stop by and ready the reviews (property # 159136). The location of this property offers all types of restaurants, bars, water sports, shopping centers, food markets and many more things at only a few minutes driving away. The key to any business is the quality of service that you offer your tenants and that is my specialty. So come on, I invite you to spend a relax, budget-friendly vacation in a safe and comfortable home.

Cute little property with a great pool! The property manager was great and was always quick to respond to my questions. The only thing I wish they had was a stove or a little convention oven. Also, the water went out on the last day so we could not shower or go to the restroom but we understand things like that happen.
I would definitely come back here again!

Nicely decorated and well equipped. Short walk to the beach. Property Manager was very friendly and provided clear instructions for access. Would definitely stay again.

Great location. Super clean. Perfect for families.

The owner is very nice and accessible, and was very responsive when we needed anything or had questions. The place itself is nice enough, and the pool is great - clean, a good size, and lovely sitting spaces around it. The villa it's a part of is a mixed bag , and the location is mixed - a terrific nature reserve very close by, but otherwise not much around. But overall, we enjoyed our stay!

We had an unforgettable vacation in Puerto Rico and everything was just right. A wonderful house with great facilities, the best weather and pure relaxation.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was comfortable and clean. Close to stores, restaurants and within walking distance to the beach. The pool was a great addition. Will definitely recomend it and will stay again.

Our stay started off a little disjointed when I realized the day-of that I had not been given any check-in information! I tried to contact the host via message and telephone number provided but received no responses for several hours. The host apologized when she eventually called us from a different (Florida) number as the person who answered the number given on this site (Puerto Rican number) did not speak English and didn't think to connect us to the person who could.
After the stress of figuring out how to get into the gated community and the house, things went smoothly. The one main concern, however, about the host was the initial dismissiveness of our concerns when we raised them that evening. First, the living room A/C was "clunking" quite loudly where you could not have the A/C on at any level and maintain a conversation in the house, and second, the pool water was cloudy and appeared to be in need of being cleaned. Our host said that "all the A/Cs are loud" and told us to turn it down if it was too loud for us, and told us that the pool was just cleaned the day before. After fiddling with the A/C ourselves the first night and again the following morning, it seemed that the A/C is loud after a period of non-use because it worked fine for the remainder of the trip. If you stay here, give it several hours if it's loud and hopefully you'll have the same luck. As for the pool, algae started growing on the sides/bottom a day or two later. I sent an actual picture to our host and she had someone come out that day. Not major issues over the course of the trip, but it was a bit disappointing to never have a "clear" pool because the general cloudiness and greenness remained since it wasn't handled right away.
We had hoped the ocean would have been without seaweed during our stay but didn't have luck. Folks had commented in other reviews that this was a possibility so we came hoping for the best but knowing that this was a risk. Our stay would have been incredible if the beach/ocean was useable for swimming and sunbathing, but it was still a nice place to walk. There are other beautiful beaches within a half hour drive which do not have the same amount of seaweed.
Restaurants and locals were extremely thankful that tourism is starting to pick up. I would definitely recommend a visit to PR, and except for our miscommunication/difficulties the first day this was a nice place to stay particularly for a larger group.

The house looked just like the pictures. It was fully furnished and was very comfortable for the 11 of us. The neighborhood was quiet and very close to Walmart, the high way, and restaurants. Norma was awesome and responded to any concerns we had. When the owner of the property had to be contacted, he responded and took immediate action to accommodate us. We would definitely stay at this property again. Very affordable and worth every penny we spent. Having our own private pool was great! The kids definitely enjoyed it everyday. Highly recommended! Thank you to Norma & Jose. :)

Our family vacation in this home was awesome. Loved the house. Although we didn't spend much time in the house because we were off exploring the island but the evenings we were there were amazing & relaxing. The kids & teenagers loved the pool & pool table. The beach was filled with seaweed but we all manged past the seaweed to swim in the ocean. House is located so close to ferry terminal in Ceiba so that was a plus for us. Would love to stay again.

This house was amazing it had everything u could want a pool a BBQ grill pool table . I recommend u rent a car because u r at least 1 hour away from San Juan and u will need to get to the Super Walmart for groceries . The beach is right outside your door but because of the hurricane u really can’t go in the water . We recommend Luquillo Beach just a half hour drive place is gorgeous. Humacao is beautiful I can only imagine how it was before Maria struck. But if u r looking for peace and quiet it’s perfect. The house manager Norma was the best she was always on call and got back to u right away. Highly recommend . Will def. be back. Thanks again so much for your hospitality .

It was a great place to stay with a lovely pool area and a great location. We used it for a family reunion. The house was very spacious and clean. It had everything you can think of, beach towels, sun umbrella, bbq, kitchen that is fully stocked with utensils, plates, pots, everything you would have in a kitchen, etc. It’s only a 2 minutes’ walk to the beach. I would definitely stay here again.

Ms. Norma is the sweetest lady. Any issues she had taken care of immediately. We felt right at home. Everything we needed was there.

My vacation experience was great! The booking agent (Norma) was always on hand to answer any questions I had. The pool and beach area are lovely. The kitchen has new appliances with plenty of dishes, glasses, etc. The bedrooms are spacious, comfortable beds and lots of closet space. It is located near supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, etc. however, it was in a nice quiet area. We enjoyed a very peaceful and restful week.

EXCELLENT!!! We had a dream vacation. This home is everything you would want and need for a relaxing vacation. The house is spotless, very cozy and fully stocked with everything you can think of. It is literally steps away from the beach and has a spectacular patio and pool area. This home is well equipped with everything you need. It is spacious and very well kept. Accommodations were excellent. We spent wonderful evenings in the typical Caribbean nights at the pool listening to the sound of the waves. The location is perfect and it is a very quiet and friendly neighborhood. Everything is just a few minutes drive away. You will find grocery stores and a mall nearby.it is no more than an hour drive from Puerto Rico's most popular and touristic area.
Norma was very prompt to answer any questions and we could tell from the very beginning she was a reliable person. We definitely will stay in touch for our next vacation. Can’t wait to go back!!! I will definitely book this home again.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. There were 11 of us including 4 teens. The house was very close to the beach so we had nice breezes outside the home. The outside table on the back yard was a nice place to eat breakfast each morning. The pool was the favorite spot for our youngest daughter and my teenagers loved having their own space and the WiFi. The house was a short walk to the beach and we were able to walk down to see the sunrise each morning and walked to the nature reserve or just enjoyed watching the crab we saw one morning. We were favorably impressed and everyone had a great vacation! It was convenient to El Yunkee and Fajardo. We felt safe in the gated community. We did visit the Palmas Del Mar resort for a meal and were happy to stay in this house rather than in the resort. We felt like we were living more like locals even though I am sure that many of the homes in the neighborhood are vacation homes. We did not fully appreciate this house until we went to our second rental property in San Juan. San Juan was very difficult to drive around so we ended up leaving our car parked and taking cabs everywhere. Thank you Norma!!!! Me and my family will not hesitate to rent this house again whenever we visit PR.

We have a wonderful experience while in Puerto Rico. Our family of 10 stayed at Ms. Norma Beach House in Villa Palmira from September 16-23-2016 . This is a beautiful clean maintain comfort home. The pictures are NOT deceiving. What you see is what you get. From our initial contact with Ms. Norma, everything from information, payment, and places to go was easy. She goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The home is located on a very quiet gated neighborhood. The home is equipped with everything from beach/regular towels, linen, washer/dryer, music equipment , nice pots and pans, coffee maker, nice comfort mattress, nice furniture, condiments, spices, ironing board, grill. and many more. The Pool was one of the preferred places to be. She has a Pool guy maintenance that cleans the pool every week. Anything you may need, she is assessable by phone and respond to your needs immediately. This property is at least 5-10 minutes to Palmas del Mar Resort, to SAMS , to Walmart Super center that opens 24-hours, Wendy’s, Burger King, The Meson, Church Chicken, Kentucky Fried Chicken,Maggie Moo's ice cream, McDonalds, Walgreens, and other shopping center where is JC Penny’s, Marshalls, and other places to shop. The beach is conveniently at the end of the street. Almost everyday we had the beach to ourselves because it is a very private area. It is located at excellent distance from El Yunque Rain Forest, Bio Bay in Fajardo where there are many water sports and to the ferry to Culebra where one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen is located (Flamenco Beach). All of this is located no more than 20 minutes away taking highway # 53 which is 5 minutes away from the house.
Overall, we have a pleasant vacation/visit. We hope to come back and be able to use this property again or other of Ms. Norma properties.
Ms. Norma, thank you so much! Hope to see you again in the near future.
