A hidden gem amongst the tall pines, you will feel like you're in nature yet all the creature comforts are a hop, skip, and jump away! Enjoy a cozy REAL log cabin nestled back into a charming cabin community.
2 Bed/1 Bath 600 sqft. log cabin that has everything you will need. Enjoy the peace and quiet relaxing on the large covered deck. Keep your eyes peeled for the wildlife that may pass by; Elk, Deer, and maybe a Bear!
Be prepared to enjoy the company you keep next to the beautiful fireplace.

Set back behind a beautiful cabin neighborhood, resting on 1 full acre of wooded property. Enjoy the peace and quiet in a real log cabin tucked back amongst the pines. Close to Charlie Clark's Steakhouse and Eddie's Country Grocery store. Everything you'll need is within a 5-mile radius. Drinks at the Den or the Lodge, Wine tasting at Wine Mountain. Delicious eats at Red Devil the Pasta House, Zeke's, Crockery Cafe, Munich Haus, and many more. Woodland Lake Park is a short drive or a nice walk away. You'll love the location!

*There's a twin blow-up mattress, extra pillow, sheet set, and blankets in the coffee table.

Quiet and beautiful cabin neighborhood. Close to Charlie Clarks Steak House and Eddie's grocery store. Close to Sunrise Ski Park (30 miles). Paved maintained roads, up till the short private drive.

WINTER MONTHS ONLY: Pellets for the pellet stove may be needed, we try to stock a supply but they may not always be stocked (they are cheap and easily found locally).

My best friend and I stayed at this property and loved it! It was quiet and exactly what we needed to unwind. There are restaurants, shops, and things to do nearby, which was nice, though not what we focused on. There is no wifi and we knew that going into our weekend. We connected the blu-ray player to my phone Hotspot and watched a movie on Amazon prime one night. Worked GREAT! The couch is super comfortable to relax on. The beds were extremely comfortable and we loved the throw blankets ready for use. It was 24° in the morning and all that was missing was snow. Too bad the owners can't control the weather 😉 We arrived at night and I really recommend reading how to get to the house before you leave if you plan to arrive after dark. We were lost for 10 minutes before re-reading the instructions twice and figuring it out. We had a good laugh at ourselves over that one.

The cabin in general was cute, the bed was comfortable and the front porch was nice, however the ad mentioned 1 acre and private and it was not private. The fireplace was not as pictured and used some kind of pellets which might have been ok but there was a room heater attached to the wall right next to it, which the pictures didn't show and it took away from the fireplace. If you are much larger than a 5'3", petite person like me, the toilet is an issue. My 6' fiancé had a terrible time "sitting" on it. His leg had to go into the shower, luckily he's not a heavy man or he definitely wouldn't have fit. The shower curtain looked like it hadn't been washed in a very long time and used soap was left from the previous guest. We didn't even touch the microwave that was oddly located on top of the refrigerator because of the nasty dried up food or whatever all over the front of it. I went to make coffee and grabbed a mug which was on the shelf with other "clean"(?) dishes and it had coffee/tea streaks running down the side..needless to say we washed everything prior to using after seeing that. We felt like the ad was misleading and because of the dirty items we would not consider a returned visit to this cabin.

This place was cozy and nice. We had a weekend getaway from the kids with a wedding up here and we’re able to completely detach and go back to the basics. It was awesome.

Living room furniture not comfy, would have liked satellite tv but not a deal breaker and toilet location kind of awkward, shower was nice and kitchen well stocked with pots and pans etc otherwise clean and well located close to everything but quiet

I'm 6'5" tall, close to 300 lb. This cabin was a little too cozy (small) for me. The large bed takes up the entire room. The configuration of the bathroom is less than desirable for someone my size. It was great for a couple nights and was pet friendly, so it suited our needs for that short of a time.

We came to the cozy cub cabin for a long weekend getaway and to ski at sunrise. We love the location there is great privacy and a peaceful environment. We stayed there two years ago and we’re excited it was available to go back to.

We loved our stay at the cozy cub cabin for our anniversary! It’s perfect for a couple and has a great front porch where we spent most of our day. They have a baby gate you can prop up for the entry to the porch which worked great for our dog. The front door also has a screen door which was nice to get a great breeze throughout. We watched movies at night and cooked dinner in the kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked. As people mentioned in other reviews, the bathroom and bedroom are small, but we are small people and didn’t have a problem. The screens were in tact in all the rooms so we were able to open all the windows. The washer and dryer were a nice bonus. The neighborhood has lots of streets which made for a nice long walk in the afternoon. We would definitely rent this again- mainly because of the front porch. There is a house in front of the cabin but you have some privacy with a row of trees- I didn’t see that as a problem as someone else mentioned. I liked being set back from the road.

We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I wish to happen is that the broken window screens get replaced so that your guests can open the windows without allowing access for the bugs to get into the cabin. Otherwise we were very happy. We loved sitting out on the front porch. So peaceful and relaxing. Jeremy was very pleasant and his communications were greatly appreciated. We would visit again.

We loved our time at the cozy cub cabin! The cabin provides everything you need for a weekend getaway. The only downfall is that the front porch is about 50 yards away from someone's backyard. Other than that, the back area is pretty secluded, and we really enjoyed our stay!

Great location near the town, but still semi-secluded. Perfect for a small family/couple, very quaint and cozy! Very quiet area. Very clean overall, but needs a deeper clean (ie: utensil holder, very dirty, walls behind sink needing a wipe down, throw blankets didn't smell clean). Owners thought of everything (ie: extra blankets, w/d, iron, coffee pot, fully stocked kitchen, like pots and poans). Fireplace was very difficult to operate after multiple attempts, we did not use it. Back fire pit area is not much to look at, that was disappointing. Uncomfortable sofa due to it being a sofa bed. Overall, great stay!

Although we enjoyed our visit we did not realize there was no WiFi or cable TV. We were also disappointed with the stained shower liner, cheap bedding and sofa pillows need a good washing. If paying hotel prices, you would expect hotel quality.

The perfect getaway

The perfect getaway

After staying at the cozy cabin, we truly understood why it received it's name. Although small, it was exactly what we needed for our party of 3. A quiet cozy log cabin that felt like we brought the outdoors inside. The heating was a new experience for us seeing as it was heated mainly by a wood pellet stove. This may seem inconvenient to some but I felt it gave us a different type of experience that contributed to the fun we found staying in the woods. It definitely got hot enough for the house too! Especially with the help of the wall mounted propane heater. The kitchen was stocked with just what we needed in terms of pans, silverware, plates, bowls etc.. we all truly loved our experience and only wish we could have spent more time there.. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice quiet getaway to the forest. The views were great. The neighborhood quiet. The city nearby had a lot to offer. It was our first time in pinetop and we hope we can visit again soon.

We loved staying at this cute little cabin! It was just the little getaway that we needed. Our two boys loved exploring the property and I really enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the birds. We would definitely stay again!

A cozy getaway

Cozy Cub is a great little cabin in a wooded neighborhood. It has the essentials but no internet or cable tv, not even local tv. Although it has a small collection of good DVD's and watching the local wildlife from the comfy porch is nicely entertaining. Load up your e-reader, bring charcoal if you want to grill and make sure you immediately change the lock code on the door. (We were unloading the car, left our phones on the counter and when the door closed we were locked out, because we couldn't remember the 10 digit code.)

We had a really great time! Cabin was clean and comfortable. Finding the location was easy as was check-in. Very quiet and surrounded by trees. The deck was great for reading and relaxing and our dog had a great time watching the squirrels from the deck. Plenty of dog friendly restaurants nearby with a convenient general store 3 miles away. The owners were also very responsive to our questions and VRBO was easy to navigate and thorough with information and what to expect. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it and VRBO to friends and family.

Fast responsive communication. Fair price. Clean, organized, well maintained. Due to fires all forests, state parks, county parks were closed. But the comfortable front porch was a perfect place to relax, read, listen to music, and of course, nap. Great yard to stroll around with your dog. Squirrels & crows keep it interesting. Nice shower and shower head. Ample closet/drawers/kitchen well organized, ample dishes, pots pans, utensils.Thank you. We'll be back!
