This place is perfect!! It is the upper part of a barn in a working ranch the overlooks the Boulder valley.
It is very clean and quiet and very well equipped. The bed and bedding were super comfortable.
It was fun to look out the window and watch the horses play in the evenings.
The Wi-Fi via starkink was fantastic
My husband and I loved staying there and will definitely be back!!!

Everything about this stay was 5-star. Lots of space, great kitchen and bath, quality furnishings, and very quiet. The dark night sky and morning sunrises are unmatched! The kitchen had all of the dishes and pans we needed for our week of cooking our dinner meals.
This location is near many of the trailheads, canyons, and Kiva Koffeehouse - which is a must to visit. Note, it is rural so you will not find a choice of places to eat out unless you drive to Escalante- about 16 miles.
Management provided quick responses upon check-in and check-out and the check-out process was very easy.
We highly recommend this property.

Quiet! Well equipped, clean. In the middle of no where, which was perfect! The communication was responsive but not accurate or helpful. The power went out, which they can’t control, and when we called about resetting the Wi-Fi we were told that nothing in the book in the house was accurate. The comment we heard was “ we really need to update that book”. We were three for three nights it never got updated or fixed. The unit was great and oh my the stars. Didn’t know there were so many. Very quiet and clean.

This was such a fun place to stay - close to Escalante and Capitol Reef National Park. The farm was so nice and relaxing! I would definitely stay there again!

One of the best places we have ever stayed and we’ve stayed in a lot of places! Loved the beautiful rural setting; the house was spotless, and the bed was the absolute best we’ve ever slept in anywhere! It was well accessorized and communication with our host was so easy. We will be back. PS we enjoyed seeing the deer bounding through the yard too!

Wonderful quiet remote vacation
Property is great, listing is inaccurate as is the rental property mgmt company as there is actually a gas grill on property which was a bonus, but would have been nice to know in advance. Close to Escalante Parks, Grand Staircase and others. No air conditioning in the family room so plan accordingly seasonally - wall ACs in kitchen and bedroom work great. Expect longer communication times when contacting the rental property mgmt company, but local contact was more timely. Added bonus was that the farm sells beef from their cows, so that was an unexpected plus.

perfect location and great for small families
We had a wonderful stay at the barn apartment. It was a good fit for our family: some toys, easy extra sleeping arrangements for our 4 year old, everything a family needs to be comfy in a rental. I did not like Evolve as the go between, which it my preferences, BUT the local host Donna was very helpful and welcoming. We ended up extending our stay to explore more of the area: Grand Staircase Escalante, drove the Burr Trail Rd. to Capital Reef, lots of hiking - the area is amazing. Boulder and Escalante have just enough going on to help an outsider get what they need and enjoy the area. Thank you for a great stay!

OK STAY
The apartment is cute. The bed is comfortable. Nothing else is comfortable. It is dusty and the smell of “ hemp” is pretty overpowering. Apple TV essentially unusable because you can’t change the user name. Fees make the price far greater than advertised nightly cost. Overall would not stay again

Lots of room on the farm
Definitely on an active ranch, as advertised. It's at the end of a road outside of Boulder town, so very private. It's a very spacious apartment with full kitchen, living room and bedroom. You do hear the farm noises in the mornings -- nothing wrong with that -- and the owls and coyotes come out at night. Only glitch is that if the water gets turned on in the barn below, you have no running water. Found that out a couple of the nights we stayed, and learned to work around the horse's schedule.

Escape from city life
It is a quiet retreat surrounded by beautiful white sandstone mountains. Our favorite feature was the porch where we watched the sunrise over the mountains while having our breakfast.

Fantastic get away
One of our best places ever to stay for our western US hiking journeys. The view is fantastic in the evenings as the area is low to no artificial lights. Place is very clean and convenient and Donna the rental agent was very helpful. In addition, there are two of the best restaurants (about the only restaurants in Boulder, Utah) nearby: Sweetwater Kitchen and Hell's Backbone Grill. A definite repeat.

Cute place
Exactly as described. No issues... we got there after dark and there are no lights... took us a min to figure out the door is on the back side of the building, but that was our only issue. Beautiful grounds, smells a little like a barn... but guess what? you’re on a farm 😜. Will stay again if in the area! Thank you!

Mooooo-oooo
We were staying only one night. A hotel would have been more appropriate for our needs, but this was best available. Fun, interesting. A couple suggestions for the host: The place is big enough to easily accommodate four people, but there's really only one bed. We were two adult men, and one of slept on the couch, which was small and not very comfortable, and the cows mooing at night (not audible from rear bedroom), kept me up. How about replacing the older sofa with a pullout? Also, some coffee and creamer would be great. Otherwise, came and went without any contact with owners.

Perfect for peace and quiet
Beautiful spot, great views and so very quiet, which was really nice. This area is incredibly remote, don't expect to be able to stop at Walmart or some big grocery store to get what you forgot. However that is one of the things that make this area so wonderful and this property is a great place to enjoy that solitude. There were a few minor issues with the property but nothing that would keep me from coming back.

Awesome place
We loved staying on this farm with the cows and sheep! What a great location. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed for a week-long stay. The owners were responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this apartment, and would stay here again.

Overall Really Nice - needs a few details
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here, and we would likely stay again. The reason for 4/5 stars is a few little things. One, the deck is really unsafe for younger children (e.g. the spacing between the rails is large and a child could easily fall through). I know we should watch children closely, but it was a concern making it so that we could not hang out on the deck. Also, the wood on the deck and railings was not well cared for, and our 5-year-old got a splinter on her hand while walking down the steps.
Also, there is no reasonable way this Unit could sleep four adults. The 'lounge' in the bedroom was perfect for a 5-year-old, and we kept our toddler in a pack-and-play. But again, an adult could not comfortably sleep on either the lounger or the couch in the living room. If you are comfy with a 'camping' feel, there is certainly enough room to spread out a pad and sleeping bag.
The layout is nice, the scenery is beautiful, and the animals were fun. Keep in mind that you are literally sleeping above a barn, so if a few barn smells/sounds would bother you, then this may not be the unit for you.
