Steve was an excellent host……we stay in VRBO’s often and Steve has been one of the best hosts.He went over all small little things upon arrival with the stereo,hot tub and pool to make our stay worry free.We had a minor hot tub issue and he had his guy right out there to fix it.I highly recommend this place

A few mishaps

A few mishaps

The owner of this property is great, very responsive and communicative. Just a few tips if renting here. The pools and spa never were working, although usable. Water never warmed (it was cool at night) and filtration system didn't function. Pool guy came out a few times, once necessitating maintenance that didn't allow us access to the pool. Owner tried very hard to make it right but clearly it was beyond his control. Costly stay to not be able to use the pool and spa. This property is gorgeous, but not handicap accessible. Also it borders a busy , busy street so very noisy if sitting outside. I would stay again because the location was very good for our needs.

Host Steve gave us a friendly, in-person welcome and tour of the property including instructions on using the remote control for the pool waterfall, mister, heater, lights, tv, and sound system. Multiple fridges were stocked with beer/sodas/water for our use, plus fresh donuts awaited our arrival - a welcome treat for hungry travelers. Two times we had questions, Steve answered our text inquiries within seconds, even on Christmas Day. We enjoyed our visit so much, we added two nights onto our stay. We enjoyed doing cross fit in the yard, cooling off in the "koi pond," taking walks to look at Christmas lights in the neighborhood and having a New Year's pizza bake-off competition on the outdoor grill and in the expansive kitchen. We cooked extensively, (grocery store was just a few minutes away), took several hikes, played pickleball on the nearby courts, and enjoyed shopping in Scottsdale and the arts district. Mostly we simply enjoyed spending time together enjoying this great house and the private, resort-like backyard. Our adult kids said this was the best Christmas and New Year's EVER!

This home is perfect for a fun retreat. Its backyard is like a hidden oasis. We thought the aesthetic was so stunning that we’re going to use it as inspiration for re-designing our own backyard. We also loved the decor throughout the house. The entire place has a modern, stylish feel which automatically makes you want to invite people over to check it out! It’s obvious that the host, Steve, cares deeply about the home and has gone to great lengths to maintain it. Steve was very accommodating and quickly responded to our questions. He was also flexible with check-in and check-out time, which was extremely helpful. The property was very clean and had all of the necessities for our stay.

Steve was amazing. He walked me through everything and answered all my crazy calls. The outside was amazing my little kids didn’t Want to leave. It’s a gorgeous home and can’t wait to go back. We were lucky to stay here during the Colorado snow we were having back home.

A group of 8 ladies wanted a getaway where we didn’t have to leave the house and this was it! We stayed in March of 2021. The house is beautiful but it is nothing compared to the pool area. We had the music blaring all weekend and barely left the pool. The house has 4 bedrooms. But one is a loft. So your light sleepers won’t like that room. The master bathroom hasn’t been updated yet but when that is done the house will be about perfect. Ms Pac-Man game for some entertainment. TVs everywhere. And did I mention the pool?? Complete with swim up bar. Find yourself a bartender and you won’t ever have to leave. No fridge out in the pool area but we made a makeshift cooler and got by just fine. The owner did a phone walk through with us and was available via text throughout our stay. The walk through was needed because the pool temp and spa jets are on a gadget that is a bit confusing. We didn’t see much of the city. But we left with a tan so mission accomplished. I would recommend this house for your trip to the Peoria area.

Electricity was shut off the first day...

Steve the owner was supposed to have discounted the daily rate but charged me the original amount, basically keeping the extra $$$...he told me that he requested the refund through Vrbo and that they take a while, it's now 3 weeks later and no refund and Steve doesn't respond to my communications. Property wasn't ready at check in time, power was cut off the first morning, Steve said he didn't update his ATM card with them and that is the reason for the disconnection. It would take months of non payment to warrant a disconnect... Did a google search to find that the owner filed bankruptcy last summer. Yard was full of weeds. No soap in any of the bathrooms. The owner cannot be trusted to fulfill promises. The fact that the power was cut and that the owner filed bankruptcy July 2019 tells me there are major issues going on. I gave the owner the opportunity to return the $$$ he still owes me but have not received any communications since I messaged him 4 days ago... Stay Away, be warned.

Wow! Epic House really made our trip great!

I visited Epic House in March 2017 with a youth baseball group from Alaska, to play in two tournaments and enjoy Spring Training and other activities during our Spring Break. This was the perfect place for our group headquarters. The pools and backyard are out of this world. The owner was always available to help if we needed anything at all. This house has everything you need to enjoy the fun and sun. Great TV's and sound system in every room including outside in the swim-up bar. We really had a great trip, and Epic House was a very big part of that. My team and family can't wait to come back and stay here again!

Amazing house in Peoria !

My family and I were lucky enough to rented this house and it was awesome! Our party of 8 fell in love with the Epic-ness of it. It was in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Close to the mall and all events we were in town to see and do. We invited a few friends over and they were so jealous that we found this amazing house for our 5 day "stay-cation".

Epic House Exceeded My Expectations!!!

I visited Epic house in January 2017 and it was even better in person honestly ... The pictures do not do it justice. The amenities are over the top and nothing less than baller status. The owner definitely loves this space and was very helpful teaching us to use the house and all the cool gadgets and toys. My family spent most of the time outside in the heated pool and watching movies outdoors, We didn't want to leave. Definitely worth it and our favorite visit to Arizona!
