We really enjoyed the cabin. The location is perfect, about 5 miles from Helen. My kids, 18 and 21 spent most of the night on the first floor playing games or singing Karaoke. I was able to get the rest I needed sleeping on the 3rd floor. The mountain view in the early morning was beautiful while drinking my coffee and enjoying nature. Highly recommend this cabin!

This house was great and we could spend countless trips exploring the area. We plan to return.

Just as described. Clean, very well laid out, notebook obvious with all check-in items, leaving requirements, local attractions, etc.

The cabin was in a great location! Close to Helen and Cleveland. It is also right around the corner from Anna Ruby Falls. The basement has ping pong and karaoke which we enjoyed every night. The rooms are spread out over 3 floors which is great for down time. The road is gravel and winding but we managed just fine in a mini van so all good. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent stay close to town and close to walking/hiking trails. Host was very accommodating.

Thank you very much, excellent, my family was happy, we hope to return soon, sorry for any inconvenience

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very pretty, my 8 year old daughter wanted to move in! The deck and the views where pretty awesome. Tatiana, the owner, was always quick to anwser and follow up with us. I loved the binder she had prepared with q&a, suggestions for restaurants and things to do. The diary was a cute touch as well. We would love to come back someday!

The place was decorated for Christmas and perfect for family game nights, holiday family photos, kareoke fun, and making smores around a fire. It was close to Helen and we really enjoyed the adorable and festive fun the town offered. The Alpine coaster also didn't disappoint. We even went on a hike to see the Anna Ruby Falls. The climb was steep but the view was well worth it!
My only complaint is a personal preference. I prefer a firm mattress and the beds were a little too soft for my back. Fortunately there was a comfy couch that I was able to sleep on with no issues.

Perfect get away cabin. Great location near all things Helen has to offer. Would stay again.

5 Day stay at this cozy property. Wonderful views and sense of security and safety for family.

This cabin was in a great location and overall was clean and well-equipped. We live in Florida and are used to dealing with bugs and all kinds of creatures, but we should not expect our son to wake up the morning after we arrived with bees swarming his head and large flying ants all over his room. He slept in the basement the remainder of our stay. The owner kindly messaged me the day after we arrived to notify me that an exterminator would be there the following day so clearly there was a known bee/bug problem. There were also sticky fly traps on the window of the bedroom at the front of the cabin. When I let the owner know that my son had bugs all over his room she did not even respond to that portion of my message, instead noted that if I wanted the exterminator to come inside I could arrange this with the exterminator (as if this is something I want to deal with on vacation).
We did not utilize the deck much, as everything was filthy out there, it appeared that the tables and chairs had not been wiped down in quite some time. Yes, I realize this is the outdoors in a tree-filled area but of all the places I’ve stayed in the mountains between N GA and WNC, this was the least appealing outdoor area.
My other son slept on top of the bedding in his room because the sheets on his bed were so pilled/worn that they were rough to sleep on.
Our kids did enjoy the game area downstairs.
Also, the wifi was spotty at best. We had better service using our data plan.
If given a little TLC, like a simple paint job for example in the bathrooms/hallways, proper pest control, some newer linens, and proper care of the outdoor area, this cabin has the potential to be a wonderful place to stay.

Cute cabin for family fun!
We absolutely loved staying here and enjoyed everything that this cabin had to offer. We played ping pong, threw darts, and sang karaoke for hours! The back porch is a perfect spot to read a book or drink some wine while looking at the gorgeous Mountain View. Secluded, private, dog and family friendly - what more could you ask for? And it is very close to waterfall hikes and Downtown Helen. It was a perfect weekend getaway for us!

Beautiful log cabin in the mountains
Thank you so much for the wonderful stay at your cabin. Beautiful drive up, plenty of room for our family, and breathtaking views out the back (minus the rv park in the distance).

Tatiana was a great host. Very quick to answer any and all questions. This property provided quick travel to Helen for fun days and nights on the town, also convenient drives to water falls.

The Fox Den was a cozy cabin. Beautiful view, with just the right amount of space for two couples.

Great location and floorplan
The location of the cabin is great. Downtown Helen, the state park and many hikes and waterfalls are nearby. As described, the road to get to the cabin is steep, winding and very narrow. We had no problems navigating it. There are mirrors for the blind curves for safety. If you are a nervous driver, I would not recommend.
The furniture has changed a bit and is not exactly like the pictures in the listing but nothing significant. There are a lot of "vintage" pieces that are worn and not in great shape.
The floorplan is great, especially if anyone staying on the top floor goes to bed early and others want to play games on the bottom level without being quiet. The ping pong table is great though the three balls and the very worn paddles make it interesting when hitting the balls. There are many board games and a foosball table that we used as well.
Of the three bedrooms and the lower level bedroom (so four beds), the only one with a TV is the one on the top level, so if that is important, keep that in mind.
The owner is very easy to communicate with, and she responds promptly. I had some questions before we arrived, and she was helpful.
The cabin, unfortunately, had many issues with being dirty when we arrived. I chose not to address it with the owner until after checkout as I did not want anyone coming into the cabin after we checked in and were trying to enjoy our short trip. I did take pictures when we arrived. The owner and I corresponded, and that person will no longer be used.
The long-term cleaning and maintenance leaves a lot to be desired as well. The old, huge cobwebs were hanging from many places. The outdoor chairs were all dirty and looked like they had not been cleaned in quite some time. The carpet is stained. The inside of the washing machine (the agitator) has gray buildup on it. The paint, trim, furniture, etc. is all in need of some work. I will not list everything here.
Overall, even though I had to clean when we got there, we chose to overlook the negatives and had a great time. I don't know if my expectations were too high based on many other cabins/condos we've rented over the years, but this one was definitely not well-maintained. I was surprised after reading all of the great reviews.

A Great Cabin for a Family Get Away
The location was great - only about 4 miles from downtown Helen, but I must say.....the road leading up to the cabin was a little scary for us Floridians - LoL. It's most likely a typical road for a mountain cabin, but it was very narrow, steep and twisty. Thank goodness we never met an oncoming vehicle!! The cabin was nice. Plenty of space and beds for 7 of us. Our only inconvenience was lack of counter space, but it could be that we all brought too much food and drinks! Ms. Tatiana was wonderful to work with. We had trouble unlocking the door when we first arrived. I sent her a text and she corrected the issue right away. We never had a reason to contact her again during our 6 night stay! We did not have an indoor fire in the fireplace, but had an outdoor firepit fire. We bought some wood from "Fred's" and it burned really well. We took our oun Keurig because we use the pods, but a multicup coffee maker was provided. The only things missing that we wished we had were all increments of measuring cups and spoons. After checkout, I let Tatiana know that they were missing, so hopefully she replaces them with full sets. All in all, we had a great time, the cabin was nice and the location was great!
P.S. She does allow pets.....just ask!

Cabin in the mountains
Nice cabin, great location, comfortable, fireplace. Need some updates on pot & pans, microwave but we made it ok. Just an observation for our group. Plenty of space to spread out, basement for the teens or kids.

Tatiana is an awesome host and responds quickly to any questions or concerns and really does care that everyone is comfortable and enjoys the cabin. Plenty of space and seating in the living area and beds were very comfortable. Tatiana has a notebook that gives you a lot of information about the area. Definitely flip through it at the beginning of your visit. We have a minivan and had no problems with driving the road to the cabin. We also loved the location being close to Helen and we could do some great hikes without a long drive. Definitely would stay again!

This house was perfect for our delayed college reunion. Very well stocked for our weekend together. The only downside was that we were unable to get transportation from here to the wineries. So, one of us just saved the wine consumption for the evenings when we returned home.
