The accommodations were amazing. The place was very clean it had all of the supplies in the kitchen you could ever want and the beds were very comfortable. The AC worked perfectly as did all the other appliances. The staff was friendly and attentive. Even the other guests were friendly. The pool was clean. My only complaint is the bar was In a state of dereliction and taped off as it was falling apart. It looked like it was quite fun at some point in the past. There also looked to be a cafe or resturant that was abandoned on site. This wasn't too big of a problem because we were so close to town it was easy to get food and there is a store directly across the street as well as a juice bar and burger truck. I would highly recommend this location to anyone. It made us want to buy property in belize.
As I mentioned above there were 2 unused structures on the site that would have a nice if they were open available however this had no bearing on our stay at all as We did not need a bar at the pool and there was no need for a restaurant on site as there was everything you needed right across the street

The unit was a 1 bedroom. It was what nice. The unit was clean. I had a lot of space to move around. There were pots and pans for cooking as well as dishes and utensils. There's a washer and dryer outside in a closet too.
I can also say I felt safe. I am a single female and travel solo. It's good to be someplace where you feel safe. The housekeeper and security are all really pleasant and nice. I actually saw the security roving on a bicycle late at night. He didn't see me, I saw him though. He was doing his job. That made me feel good.
The central air always worked and my power never went out. Again, on islands this can be hit and miss. The water was an issue, not the power. I'd rather have water go out that power because I sweat a lot and need cool air.
The wifi always worked. I like to stream stuff. Some things can't be streamed from the States, BUT, the internet always worked.
The water would shut off every few hours. I don't know if that is normal here, but there wasn't any warning. So sometimes I'd finish a workout and want to shower and the water was off. Sometimes I couldn't brush my teeth right away or flush the toilet.
The unit is also over a main road, so it gets noisy during the day from traffic. That didn't bother me too much because I am a city girl, but if you want quiet, this isnt the unit.
It's also across from the Village Market, so there's a constant flow of golf carts pulling in and out to get groceries. Again, it gets noisy.
The people in the unit below would play loud music. I have really good hearing, but I think even average hearing would hear that. Sometimes, they'd be playing it late at night after hours. I was able to sleep, but I think it's worth noting that the neighbors below may be noisy just so the next guest who stays there has a warning.
The sargassum smell there was awful. I guess you can't really help that. Some places have that smell more than others. But just be aware that it's STRONG over there.
I also had a really ugly view of trash outside. If that bothers you, then this isn't the unit for you.
The cell signal is bad there. I thought something was wrong with my phone, but found out that that area may be a dead one. As long as you call over wifi, you'll be good. Or I guess just Whatsapp like everyone else.

The location is great! Right in the middle of everything. Also loved that there was a little store right across from the apartment. It was very convenient to be able to get some snacks and beers so close by. There is also a pizza truck and a small juice bar across from the complex. I was also pleasantly surprised to see they had mini shampoo and conditioner and hand soap in the bathrooms.
The apartment we stayed in was off a busy street. Traffic was extremely loud and noisy. The first night there I couldn't sleep because of the noise. After that first night, though I slept through everything. I think we were so exhausted from all the excursions that come bed time the noise didn't matter. Also I wish we had been warned about the huge alligator that can be seen on the premises from time to time. Also the mattress in the second smaller bedroom was super firm. The mattress in the master bed was soft and perfect though. The pool area wasn't the prettiest but who cares when the beach is so close by. We never saw any office workers. We just got the room but never actually met with any staff.

The space and the balcony, asking with the location.
The dishes were older and some of the electrical outlets in the dining area did not work. The sliding glass doors were very hard to open.

Ana Lausen our concierge was exceptional. She took care of our every need from super early to late at night. Amazing person.

Good location a little north of the bridge into the main part of San Pedro - 3-4 min. golf cart ride. We were on the street across from a mini supermarket and ice cream/fruit shop and pizza truck - for me, these were all pluses. There's a little street noise, but that doesn't bother us at all. Huge porch on front and also one on back. Washer/dryer outside, also - very convenient. We didn't see or use the beach as the ones at Secret Beach were so nice. Pool was very nice. Great air conditioning (central) and overall good amenities. For me, the location was great as it was not in the busy area but very close to everything. Good little restaurant Belize 303 right down the road, as well. Gated 24/7 and the security guards were amazing (bring them dinner and they will be delighted).
No view of water, no nice beach that we could find on site.

Very spacious and nicely furnished. Overall, mostly clean and tidy. Easy to find, the manager provided great information and made the place easy to find and access.
The location isn't near anything, so prepare for long walks or rent a golf cart. The front door was weak and although it locks just fine, I felt like a 5 year old could push the door in. It didn't feel very secure. Noise is a factor for sure. I could hear a lot from from other units -- pounding on things, chairs sliding, jumping, and dogs barking all night. Silverware was dirty, rusty, or both, dishes didn't appear to be clean enough to eat from without washing first. The room faces the street, so expect lots of street noise at "rush hour" and yelling, arguing and partying across the street at the store until closing time. The neighbors had a nice garbage collection outside their front door. The A/C worked great initially, but then barely worked at all for the last 3-4 days. Thermostat doesn't appear to be hooked up to anything and had no effect on the fan or temp. If you spend time at the pool, be prepared to listen to older white people complain endlessly about the property manager, the facility, the developer, and problems with their units. Bring headphones. If you want a local experience, this isn't your place. The photos ARE from the property but I felt they gave me the wrong impression of the facility.
