About this apartment rental
After 6 years on Abritel, the positive feedback from my tenants confirms my desire to offer vacationers more than just vacation accommodation, but a cozy and pleasant place.
With a total surface area of around 50m2 (interior + terrace), this spacious and fully equipped studio (real kitchen, 1 lounge / TV area, 1 sleeping area, washing machine, air conditioning, TV) in a quiet, secure residence, opens its terrace overlooking a beautiful ocean and harbor view of Papeete.
The proximity of the airport, downtown Papeete and ferries to Moorea or the Marquesas (Aranui) add to the advantage of this accommodation.
Particular attention has been paid to the decoration to make you feel good (art photos, beautiful furniture, color touches, blackout curtains, etc.).
Guaranteed calm and far from the noises of the city center, dust ...
Covered terrace of 17m2 offering a dining area (table for 6 people) and an aperitif / reading area with the view directly on the Pacific and Papeete.
Warning :
- If the residence is at the gates of PPT (2km500) a car is essential to move around Tahiti and easily exit the residence towards Papeete (located at the top of a small hill! )
- No phone in the apartment.
- My accommodation is not a cheap hotel where everything is included, so toilet paper, shower soap / dishes are not provided at will. Laundry detergent is not provided.
In order to participate in environmental protection, one bath towel per occupant will be provided.
Paper towels, aluminum and any other unnecessary products will not be available.
Thanks for your understanding.

BAIL :
1- Even if the residence is at the gates of PPT, a CAR IS NECESSARY if you want to explore Tahiti (beaches, valleys ...) exit and back home safely at nights, Food store or supermarket.

I wanted a place to stay and basically unwind from 2 days of flying. I didn't have a car so I was limited to the condo, but I knew that before I arrived. Condo has everything you need, and there is a nice pool area. Host was great in communicating with me -- even offered to have his niece pick me up at the airport and take me to the cruise port, at a rate significantly less than a taxi and MUCH more convenientl.

First impressions are always important. I found the communication with our wonderful host, Didier, very personalised from the very beginning. He met us at the airport in the evening and we followed him to the apartment in our rental car. What a great service! He showed us his lovely apartment which looks exactly like it does online and gave us tips for our vacation. The bed is very comfortable and we slept very soundly despite the jet lag with the windows open. The apartment is in a very quiet setting and there were no mosquitoes to bother us. There is a large Carrefour just down the road where you can find just about anything. Bring your duty-free allowance, as the prices for alcohol are extremely high on the island! The highlight is undoubtedly Didier's terrace where we enjoyed magnificent views of Papeete and the harbour. It is cool and comfortable and actually quite difficult to leave for trips around the island. It is worth taking a trip around the island to soak in the beauty of this tropical paradise. Be careful when you rent a car. My rental with Hertz seemed very reasonable until I found out that it included zero kilometres, which were charged for at the end of the rental. You can take your car to Moorea on the ferry by paying a nominal maritime insurance fee. All in all, I can certainly recommend this apartment to anyone that wants to stay on the island. We found it incredible value for money and would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for a great start to our vacation in French Polynesia, Didier!

Special attention from host.
One word to describe it all, awesome.
As the host already listed, you need a car.
Well worthy to explore the island by car.

We had such a great time at this apartment. Great view and fantastic pool. The host was extremely attentive and friendly. He offered a private parking space in the dark parking garage, but we were much more comfortable parking in the visitor section near the pool. Google maps sent us to the neighboring building, so I recommend you listen carefully to Didier's instructions on how to find this place.

We enjoyed our stay at Didier's condo very much. It sits above the harbor of Papeete, with easy access to Mo'orea ferries as well as the city's attractions and conveniences. The condo is equipped with modern kitchen, private parking, and a swimming pool, as well as a porch/patio with fabulous views of ships navigating the harbor and the constantly changing sky and sea that surround Papeete.
Didier is a kind and considerate host, always available to answer questions and offer tips on the area. His love for the Polynesian people and islands lights up the advice he can give you, and made our stay more meaningful and satisfying.
Highly recommended!!

Didier was the perfect host meeting me at the airport after I picked up my Hertz rental car. Not sure I would have found the condo without following Didier in his car but I am direction challenged. Spent first 2 nights after arrival here to get my bearings. A car is ideal given location perched high above Papeete center. You can watch ferries go back & forth to Moorea. After driving around the island of Tahiti all day, I returned to the 4th floor condo and cooked food from grocery during my road trip and enjoyed evening ocean breeze, crazy heavy rain and savory wine under a blanket from the balcony with all doors open to the studio apartment for a restful night’s sleep. I never needed the AC. ,The condo is behind a punch code security gate (very easy) with free parking. Condo is a perfect location to drive your rental for easy Aremitis ferry to Moorea.. The rest of my trip was sunny every day! Loved starting out at Didier’s condo. Thank you Didier!
