We love staying at the Lagoon pool house. From the house to the pool to the snorkeling right in front of the house to the shopping near by. It's really the best place to stay. Indoor outdoor living. Our host Karine and Robert were on top of it when Moorea was in the path of a cyclone. They made sure we were aware of what was happening and that we would be off the Island when the storm hit. We then stayed in Papeete at the host's other VRBO beautiful home. In spite of the storm it was perfect. Thank you Karine and Robert for being such great hosts.

Iaorana, The location is ideal. With a pool, on the lagoon, dock to go snorkeling from. Supermarket is literally across the street. Several restaurants within a couple of blocks. Post Office within a block. Two kayaks to use. Two bicycles to use. Washer (line dry clothes). Large refrigerator/freezer. The hosts Karine & Robert were amazingly responsive in answering questions and dealing with a couple of simple issues. Caring, timely response like that is worth its weight in gold. Excellent location. Supermarket across road, and easy walk to cafes, restaurants etc. Fantastic pool, lots of outdoor covered space to relax. Everything needed for a great stay. Would be very happy to go back again.

What an awesome place to call home while on Moorea! The dive shop and whale encounter company we used, a grocery store and options for dining, were all just a short walking distance away -- great snorkeling right out back....The kids loved starting and ending their day in the pool. the house was set up with everything we needed and more....would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The view was amazing, the pool was refreshing and the house had all the amenities we needed. It accommodated four adults and could fit more guests if desired. I would advise to update the post, stating, the clothes dryer is available, upon request. The owner was accomdating and we were able to access the vrbo without issue. There is a store directly accross the street as well as shops and restraunts within a short walking distance. Thank you for making this happen for us, Karine and Robert, we truly enjoyed it!

We loved this home that seemed like a boat it was so close to the water with the quirky hall and rooms and windows to the sea. We snorkeled, kayaked and pedal boated and saw Black Tip Reef Sharks, two Sting Rays, and a Spotted Eagle Ray straight out from the house. There were awesome views of Moorea peaks from the boats also. The outdoor covered areas to eat were much appreciated. We liked the proximity to Carmeline's and Manava Resort for treats and a nice dinner as well as the convenience to the grocery store. The owners kindly left a bottle of diatomaceous earth to help manage the ants and an island wide termite hatch that happened when we were there. We had great weather and were off on numerous adventures or we would have also used and appreciated the ping pong table, Foosball and big screen entertainment center. Make sure you get good directions and both numbers to call so you can find it when you arrive by Snack Didier.

Amazing property for a family with kids! 13 year old loved snorkelling and my 7 year old loved the pool. Everything is super handy to where the property is located!

The four of us had a great time staying at this house for two nights. The pool is great! We loved taking the kayaks out in the ocean. The water is so blue and clear. You can see lots of fish! The house is a little quirky, but fine for sleeping. The AC in the rooms worked well, and we had no problems with anything. There is a store super close, so that was convenient, and we had breakfast across the street both mornings. Having a car would make it easier to find dinner, but we managed to find a couple of places within walking distance. Overall, I would recommend staying here. You cannot beat the view and having a private pool. Merci, Karine et Robert!

Look no further if what you want is a vacation home that is so close to the water that it feels like a overwater bungalow. The location is second to none especially since you can walk across the street to the market, shops, and restaurants.

Overall stay was great, kids enjoyed the pool.

Great location! Cooling down in either the pool or lagoon was a great choice. Loved seeing all the different fish in the lagoon and every morning there was a very little black tip reef shark that came to visit. The kids loved watching it swim around the lagoon. The only down side was the air conditioner in the main part of the house. You had to constantly fill it with water but it didn’t seem to keep the temp down. Other than that, all was great. Just an FYI, the house is quirky but it totally worked for us.

Not many, if any places in all of Mo'orea that this rental option provides you. You simply cannot beat the location. A ten minute taxi ride from the ferry, with Maharepa and all of its wonderful shopping, dining and grocery options are just across the street, yet the home is indented enough off the main road where you hear little to no traffic. You'll stay cool in any room you choose within the very unique layout of the home with great A/C. Kitchen is fully equipped for any cooking you're wanting to do. The snorkeling just outside needs to be on your morning and late afternoon routine, and you will not be disappointed. Sharks, rays, all assortment of fish; everyday was a wonderful adventure. During midday, the pool was a life saver. You can also expect an attentive response from the owners should anything come up. It was very clear they are invested into ensuring your stay is memorable and without issues. Do yourself a favor and add this to your short list for your next Mo'orea vacation. You simply will not regret it.

For a family holiday in Tahiti, this was the perfect place for us. It’s not fancy, but it’s got lots off room, lots of amenities (private pool, bikes, kayaks, peddle boat, paddle board and perfect location). It has a large kitchen and living room. The master bedroom and bath are large. It’s right on the ocean with a gorgeous view. It was in the heart of Moorea right near grocery, shops and restaurants, yet secluded behind a secure walled in area. The owners were incredibly nice and responsive to us. The price was very fair. We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay. Lots of space and modern amenities. Snorkeling right in front of the house was the best experience we found on the island. Lots of reef fish and a few sharks and a turtle. The pool was excellent. We liked the across the street walk to the neighborhood "supermarche" for baguettes, pastries and groceries. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Two local rental car locations nearby.

This house is great! We went to Mo’orea in the height of summer, so we needed to leave the windows and doors open all the time. The AC in the bedrooms works wonderfully. So yep, Geckos, some ants, and one night a crab friend in the bathroom. We left the windows open… what did we expect on a tropical island. There is Netflix, a washer, the pool is fantastic. The snorkeling outside the property is amazing. I am already missing my fish friends. They let you use kayaks. The town it is in has ATMS, a supermarket… some restaurants you can walk to. We never rented a car on the island. If you are more mobile than I, the house has bikes you can use to get places. It had everything I needed to cook meals.

If you want to feel like you are living a normal life in paradise, then this is the place to go. Great marine life right off the dock, lovely pool and centrally located on the island. The house definitely has different levels and narrow stairs, but once you get the flow, it is just a fun, low key place to hang out. We will definitely be back next year!

Our little family stayed about a week in this amazing Tahitian home. It is located in the best neighborhood on the island. Everything right there at walking distance. Great for slow and relaxing morning without the stress of getting in a car and looking for places to get breakfast. Amazing location, right on the Moorea lagoon. We went kayaking (comes with the property amenities) every day at sunrise. And of course we got lots of use out of the gorgeous swimming pool as well. I can go on and on about this place. We will be back as often as we can, that's for sure. The owners of this Tahitian gem, Karine and Robert, go above and beyond to make sure their guests are having the time of there lives. They are not pushy or overbearing, but they are always available by phone should you have any questions about pretty much anything regarding your stay on the island. HIGHLY recommended. Best place on Moorea.

We enjoyed our stay at Fare Moorea. Locatiom was ideal with shops, restaraunts, and market all close by. It was a beautiful location for enjoying time on the water kayaking and playing in the pool. The outside veranda was an added bonus for enjoying beautiful sunsets and evenings with the sea breeze and sound of the waves. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking meals. We had a wonderful time.

We are disappointed with our holiday as the owner is building a second house at the same premises within 5 meters. So noisy and excessive dust, there was a hole in the roof top nearby the toilet and bathroom, so many mosquito here frequently bite us, main bed room close to the spa shower room has tiny insects, every day we were bitten by it on our back, hips. I and my husband have to move to another bed room. We have to kill mosquitoes every day. Outdoor swimming pool is nice but mosquitoes are everywhere lurking from mid day till , evening got worst. We can't open any windows as there is no fly screen for kitchen and lounge entrance door, have to close at all times, to close once go in and out. Location is great, beautiful, seems like a heaven. But owner is rude, rarely reply. He thinks we are just complaining, why should we exert our efforts to complain if we were happy. We have to speak up because it was the truth, we have to wash our car many times as it is standing within 5 meters from construction, excessive cements and dust from grinding, cement mixing and heavy machinery in process of construction except Sat, Sunday. It is a matter of principle to let us know before we arrive. We were expecting a quite holiday here. There was a billiard table, table tennis/ping pong table were covered with plastic in the garage with construction tools, were not accessible at all. 2 bikes were standing there with full of dust, washing machine was barricaded by frames of door lying there, blocking it. The so-called safe children playground was not safe at all to play for children, garden horse pipes were running there and so many nasty ants were there and it bites. The owner was dishonest and claimed that the new house was located within 50 meters distance. The main dining room is so hot there is only an air cooler only. Every morning we woke up by 7:30am as workers came to construction site and commenced their work. Owner should advertise that he is building a second house at this stage, there was no billiard table, table tennis. If he is responsible owner, he should at least apologise, but that is not happening. Swimming pool tiles were came off, the house need a renovation. We are supposed to drink water from the fridge, red warning light was there as a warning to change the filter, the certificate which attached to the fridge in regards to quality of drinking water was expired already, it was from 2009. Closing the house entrance door was challenging.

We loved this house it had plenty of room and the pool was used every day. My husband loves to snorkel and after going to coco beach he and several other places he said right in front of the house was by far the best ever. The last day we had 3 rays and 1 shark swim up right in front of the house. The fish in front of the house are amazing and you can see them even if you don’t get in the water. The owners are amazing and very responsive. We had trouble with the hot water in the smaller shower and he came right in to take care of it (it turned out it was operator error 😊) sorry about that 😊. The house being right in the middle of the best town was great you didn’t even need a car. And once you are behind the gate you cannot tell there is a bustling town right outside. The house was clean and had everything we needed to make great meals. I will be back someday soon. Best vacation ever!!!!! Oh and the lizards are fun to watch

We had a very bad experience; we attempted to discuss with the owners and were told they would not speak to us given our concerns. -Only correspondence before check-in was a forwarded email with a previous guest's contact and trip information still included. -information to open the shared courtyard gate was not accurate (the gate is not manual it is automatic and requires the fob). we called the two contacts given in the check-in PDF and noone answered or called us back. Robert did eventually return an email about this after we had figured out how to enter with the car -we only choose this listing because it had two kayaks available in the listing, but the kayaks are not seaworthy and there are only one and a half paddles available (pics available). -we saw two large cockroaches run across the floor (in master bath and a bedroom), the only cockroaches we have seen in the 3 weeks we have spent in the society islands -very low main doorway with a warning written in black ink on dark wood so that we couldn't see it, and my partner whacked his head multiple times -the house manual says in red caps to only drink the water from the fridge filter. the fridge filter replacement light is on when we arrive, so we email the host. the host responds saying we can drink the tap water, but since this is conflicting information we bought bottled water because we did not want to get sick. -the manual says not to use too many kitchen appliances at once, but when we tried to cook dinner our last night using the stove the fuse blew even though we were using no other kitchen appliance at that time. this took out the electricity to the entire kitchen and living room. we made 6 phone calls and sent 1 email before being able to reach the hosts. meanwhile, we spent hours walking the house trying various fuse boxes, as no instructions were available in the house manual, even though this is clearly a known issue. the hosts did eventually send their son to flip the breaker, which was behind a locked door in the garage. -early cleaner arrival on our last day, around 7:30am. That means we had no privacy for our last morning in the house, after spending the night before trying to turn the lights back on so we could cook dinner.

The snorkeling right in front of the house was the best on the Island. We really enjoyed the outdoor space including the pool. The indoors has many stairs going from one room to the other. A little quirky but functional. The outdoor space and pool needed attention and the maintenance person was there the day after we called. Great to be able to walk to grocery store and/ or restaurants.

We loved the location - close to everything we would need, including a few great restaurants to walk to. The AC in the bedrooms worked really well. We love relaxing by the pool and going snorkeling right off the dock.

House was very nice and plenty of room. Owner did not notify us that the islands were in confinement. Which means you were only allowed to go the store and doctor. It would if been nice to know what we could do or that we' would be stuck in house. Communicate with your renters before they arrive in Covid conditions. The directions to house were in map form, and not easy to understand or find. An address and a sign on driveway is Needed...! House sad comfortable and had extras included,,,, kayak, bikes ect...
