This is an amazing home in the heart of Asheville yet carefully placed upon the natural mountainside off Town Mountain Rd. The home is perfect for a family gathering, a retreat with friends, or for a relaxing space to take in the mountain views. With three master suites, a theatre room/Pub, billiards room, library, huge eat in kitchen overlooking the clouds and four levels of living space you won’t want to leave! Have you ever wanted to cook on an $18,000 Thermador Pro Grand 60" commercial stove? Now is your chance! In a foodie town like Asheville you will find the best farmers markets and culinary treats you can imagine so why not enjoy the finest gourmet kitchen around?

The main floor houses the formal living room with fireplace and baby grand piano, library, kitchen, laundry room and king master suite with private balcony. Off the kitchen and living room, you can enjoy the sunrise or sunset from the wrap around upper deck. The deck features lounge chairs, dining table and chairs and a lovely porch swing. We have a gas BBQ grill to keep you outside enjoying the view while you cook.
The theatre room and pub is located off the main level on the left wing of the house, and is equipped with a projection screen, and surround sound system for the ultimate theatre experience. Enjoy the murals painted by the same local artist who painted Asheville Pizza. The experience is truly unique and truly Asheville. There is a half bath and bar so you will not need to leave once the movie starts! We have hundreds of movies to choose from and we now have cable TV in the theatre room and basement pub/billiards room. The theatre room also has 4 twin beds with twin trundle bed for overflow sleeping if needed (can sleep 4 guests), and also has toy bins full of Lego bricks and toys for the kids and makes for a popular overflow sleeping area for children. Two queen airbeds fit nicely in the theatre room as well.
The second story is accessible from the main level off the foyer. This level has one queen bed bedroom and one queen bed bedroom with an additional twin bed (sleeps 3). There is a full bath located between the two rooms.
The lower level has 2 king master suites with full baths, a private double bedroom, a billiards room and second pub, living room area with private entrance and a covered deck with a 6 person hot tub and sweeping mountain views. You will find many games and puzzles in this area as well as a large screen TV with cable service.
Our kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and cookware for a Thanksgiving feast! The 60" gas range with double oven and two full size refrigerators are a real bonus in the gourmet spacious kitchen. You will not need to bring a thing to enjoy this home!
All linens, towels, paper products and cleaning supplies are provided. We also have two queen air mattresses for additional sleeping if needed. We also have two portable cribs and one highchair for those traveling with tiny tots!
Travel/trip insurance is required for booking. We have suffered great losses during covid and hurricane helene when we had to refund guests despite our refund policy. Our family can't continue to operate at a loss. Insurance can be purchased from vrbo or an outside vendor of your choice.

It’s never easy finding a place to stay for 13 people, let alone a place that would offer up entertainments space and enough “get away” spots. This house is IT! It is wonderfully appointed , in a perfect location with enough space for everyone!
The kitchen table afforded us the opportunity to have meals together all at once! The hot tub, movie room and decks provided great escapes when you needed a break. Don’t let the bears scare you - you are in their habitat, so just follow the rules and observe nature at its best! Thank you for an amazing stay!

The property was lovely, house comfortable for our family of 8, one of whom was handicapped. We loved the spacious deck on main level even though the door to the kitchen area wouldn't open. The house is close to downtown and Ubers had no problem finding it. The hot tub and theater provided entertainment for some of our party.
One suggestion - better lighting and lamps in downstairs bedrooms - they were SO dark, It was impossible to read in bed! I felt like I was in a cave. The living room also seemed very dark.

11 friends traveled from Cincinnati to honor the passing of a dear friend. We laughed, we cried, we carried out his wishes to bring everyone together in Asheville.
This house was the best decision! We used all the spaces to gather, tell stories and share memories. Dinner was prepared as we gathered around the table for a meal.
Also, very convenient to downtown and all the things we love about Asheville.
We plan to stay here again.

The location and layout worked well. U nfortunately a power outage before check in likely impacted cleaning. Home is showing wear borh inside and out. Owner starting renovation outside rear in Jan '23. Upstairs bedrooms and bath weren't cleaned well. Found glass shards in carpet in theater room. The theater room was greatly enjoyed by all. Had issue with one downstairs toilet and one daughter reported upstairs tub/shower drained poorly....she said she found hair in it and on sink. The shower curtain had mold and mildew on it. several stains in carpet and needed to restretched. The owner was plesant and volunteered to some check out toilet but we said we'd make due and could adress after we left. A good detailed cleaning including professional carpet cleaning would remedy a number of the issues. I also recommend new bed pillows.

Perfect house for a reunion of good friends. Easy access to the Biltmore and Omni Grove Park Inn. We enjoyed holiday festivities at both of those venues during the day and would return to the house in the evening to enjoy dinner together.

Kitchen and main floor are all in good shape. All of the bedrooms, including mattresses, and bathrooms need updating and the decks are in bad shape. Need replacing. Hot tub was great.

Great house for a wedding weekend in Asheville. Loads of indoor and outdoor spaces, beautiful bedrooms, gorgeous location! Host was incredibly responsive and helpful, came by to help us donate leftover food from a family gathering. Excellent theater room, able to stream a family video and watch multiple sporting events! We had an awesome experience staying at this property. The house was incredible- it was clean, spacious and so well setup. The location too was perfect/exactly what we were looking for with a quick 10 minute trip into the downtown but still in the woods with nice views. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Our 3 generation family had a wonderful time staying in Kerri’s beautiful home. We have family reunions with our daughters and their families and feel this home is the most beautiful we have ever stayed at. The owners had plenty of toys, books, and items for the children. The views are tremendous and the hot tub and movie theater added to our time together. We hope to return again !

My family loved the house- it is beautifully decorated and equipped with almost anything we needed. Our hostess quickly responded to any and all of our questions and concerns. The large and beautiful kitchen was excellent for the crowds we had during the day. This house made our family reunion wonderful!

We had a great time. This place has everything you need for a large gathering. Pool table, theater room, hot tub, large kitchen with lots of seating, 2 ovens, 2 fridges, tons of sleeping and best of all 10-15 minutes from downtown, Biltmore, Zen tubing, restaurants, bars…
Now, some other things to know from a very OCD person. The pictures of the house make it look like it is brand new, it is not. No screened in porch for night time relaxing, it has been added on to and divided up to make it a VRBO, squeaky floors, carpet that needs cleaned, painted in and out, door handles with weird locks, steep driveway, septic system, low water pressure and un-even airflow to rooms - some freezing some not so cold.
Please don’t get this review wrong, this is a great place with all you need and in a great location. The owners were very communicative and emailed back very quickly. If we were to vacation back to this area we would certainly consider this place first. I just think you should know the good and not so good things

We were visiting Asheville for a family wedding. We had 10 people stay in the house and it was wonderful! We all had plenty of space to ourselves and enjoyed the huge kitchen for breakfasts and lunches.
Additional fun interests - we saw 2 bears coming down the driveway, at separate times!

I stayed at this property with 6 friends for a girls weekend. The house was extremely spacious, clean and close to everything we wanted to do. 20 mins or less drive to some amazing hikes and 5 mins to downtown Asheville. Highly recommend this property!

Kerri was very helpful. We had 4 generations staying in the house for a small family wedding. The house is large and allowed people to spread out. There were toys, games, pool table, etc for the kids. They loved the theater room. The kitchen was spacious and worked well, even for a catering staff.

The property was absolutely amazing and we could not have been happier with our stay. The kitchen was absolutely stunning and fully equipped for cooking all weekend. The theater room could not have worked better for me and my friends to watch all the basketball during March madness. Nothing but great things to say about this property! For a group of 14, we had enough beds and space for everyone to sleep comfortably, a big enough table for all of us to eat together, and a gorgeous view to enjoy throughout. Our group of woman travel to different cities to explore the areas, run a race and have a good time. The house accommodated our group of 11 easily and comfortably. We had a nice welcome gift when we arrived. The kitchen has everything one would need were one wanting to cook. Lots of decks to hang out on. We went in Jan and took advantage of the lovely hot tub. The house is literally min from downtown but high enough to have nice views from the windows and deck. We had a great time at the house and in the Asheville area in general.

This is a great house and location for any large group that wants scenery but also like to be close to town. The home was as exactly as described and depicted. The host responded quickly when contacted. The driveway takes a little getting used to for those of us from Florida. I would absolutely stay here again in the future.

We just had the most amazing girls weekend here for my sister’s Bachelorette party. We couldn’t believe we found such an incredible home just 5 minutes from downtown yet in the mountains with beautiful views. The house was the perfect size for 10 girls. Everything was extremely clean and we loved the large kitchen and dining area (highly recommend a private chef - we used Crackerjack Chef and Chef Michelle was fantastic!). Kerri was so easy to work with and answered all my questions. I would 100% recommend the house for a getaway with friends, couples or families.

We loved the house. We enjoyed the theater, hot tub, and billiard table. I really enjoyed the views and close proximity to downtown. We eventually figured out how to use the ovens. We had some issues with it heating up at first, but then it worked. This house has a lot of stairs that may be harder for older people to handle. You need to bring your own shampoo and soap. When we changed our reservation by staying one less day VRBO's system did not calculate the amount correctly, but the owner was nice enough to get it all figured out for us. I highly recommend this house.

The owner Kerri was fantastic! So responsive to my emails and, you can tell, she is an incredibly nice person. We absolutely loved the house - the kitchen allowed us to cook every meal and the large table accommodated our large family and friends. The deck gave us incredible views and the hot tub was a nice treat for the adults. The kids LOVED the media room and "new toys" to play with. The owners really thought of everything to make this home a no-brainer.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to host a group.
