About this house rental

Country property, fully renovated in 2013, consisting of two houses side by side on a 3000 m2 garden. Close to many golf courses and the Abbeys' road. Bed linen, bath and kitchen towels, electricity and heating are included.
Our house is a welcoming family home. It has been completely renovated in 2013, but remains a country house : simple and casual . It is very well equipped . The bedding was renew in 2015 and includes 4 king size beds, 1 queen bed, and two twin beds. As cooking lovers we paid a special attention to the kitchen equipment And in good weather a large three lights BBQ Weber awaits you on the back terrasse .
One hour from Paris by the A14, and an hour of Deauville, the home is in the countryside but not isolated as it is in a hamlet. It is the former home of the sharecropper of the beautiful castle that sits in the back of the garden ...

Checking in and check out time can be adapted according to the occupation of the house. Do not hesitate to ask.

Agréable séjour malgré plusieurs dysfonctionnements

Le ménage pourtant inclus a été grandement négligé avant notre arrivée : traces d'urine sur l'abattant des toilettes (la femme de ménage a eu le culot d'accuser nos enfants alors que les traces étaient là à notre arrivée!! Nous avons les photos à l'appui), micro-ondes et robinetterie de cuisine contenant des morceaux de nourriture, cuisine peu reluisante globalement et chambres très poussiéreuses. Les éclairages/ampoules étaient majoritairement défectueux, nous n'avons obtenu aucune réponse à nos questions avant le lendemain de notre arrivée, par la femme de ménage soit-disant "débordée" et sarcastique. Il aurait été appréciable de pouvoir contacter quelqu'un le jour même (nous sommes arrivés à 17h comme convenu) sachant qu'en ces temps de COVID l'arrivée se fait sans contact. ATTENTION, annonce mensongère : la TV/satellite/DVD ne fonctionnent pas! Apparemment le propriétaire est au courant depuis des mois (selon la femme de ménage) mais il ne daigne pas mettre l'annonce à jour ni prévenir du dysfonctionnement. Etant donné le prix de la réservation, nous sommes vraiment déçus du manque de communication et de professionnalisme. Le propriétaire n'a pas répondu à nos messages via le site Abritel, quel manque de correction et de respect !

Grande maison bien équipée pour 12 avec de l'espace et un très grand & agréable jardin. Lits et chambres confortables. Tous les équipements pour cuisiner et même pâtisser (pour 12 !). Merci à Ivan pour les conseils (bons et détaillés) sur les choses à voir & faire alentours. Une petit contrariété sur l'heure du départ à 15h00 le dimanche alors que nous aurions apprécié de rester un peu plus longtemps.

Lovely stay at these two house, lots of room and gardens are fantastic. We went on a week where lots of places where closed but the capital of Normandy was a nice town to visit. There where a few things in the property that had seen better days but overall we had a nice stay and was perfect for us as a family

Lovely place to stay in Normandy!

We had a short stay in Normandy, just 3 nights staying at the property but it was wonderful! There are 3 double bedrooms not 6 but that worked perfectly for our family of 5. The yards (both front and back) and huge and beautiful. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated and pleasant. Ivan is extremely helpful with anything you need.

Charmante maison pour passer 2 ou 3 jours avec un magnifique jardin sans vis-à-vis. Bon accueil à l'arrivée. Par ailleurs, le propriétaire est disponible et réactif pour répondre à d'éventuelles questions. Tout est là mais dommage de ne pas avoir prévu un minimum de condiments pour cuisiner.

An Amazing Retreat from the Pressures of the World

The pictures do not do this place justice! Serene, quiet, comfortable, well appointed and everyone was super responsive to our requests. We lunched out in the beautiful backyard, curled up in front of a roaring fire on the cool evenings. The kitchen is large and well appointed allowing us to cook wonderful meals. The beds were super comfortable, so no problems catching up on some much-needed sleep.This was the perfect jumping off point to explore Normandy from. A perfect get-a-way all the way around.

Les 2 cottages sont magnifiques, bien décorés, et propres. La literie est très confortable. La cuisine est bien équipée. le BBQ, bien que vieillissant, fonctionne correctement, et a été utilisé quotidiennement pendant notre séjour de 4 jours. Le terrain est super grand.

Grand ensemble de 2 maisons, fort bien rénovées et aménagées, où l'on se sent bien chez soi. Ultra confort (les lits sont même faits à l'arrivée,), spacieux pour les enfants. Cuisine bien équipée. Jardin nickel avec barbecue et balançoire. C'est bien la première fois que nous tombons sur une loc qui dépasse les promesses à tous points de vue !

Wir waren über Ostern mit insgesamt 10Personen und 2Hunden dort. Es war super schön. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Trotz der vielen Personen waren die Gemeinschaftsräume groß genug für uns alle. Der Garten und der Kamin waren unsere Highlights. Wer mit Kinder und Hund anreist....das Grundstück ist ringsum eingezäunt, also brauch man sich hier keine Gedanken machen. Zum wandern ist das Haus auch gut gelegen. Der Vermieter ist super lieb. Die Dame die uns in Empfang genommen hat und verabschiedet kann nur französisch aber mit Händen und Füßen ging es dann. Fazit ein gelungener Kurzurlaub den wir sicherlich wiederholen werden.

Nous avons passé un excellent week end entre amis. Ivan à été de très bons conseils quant aux propositions d'activités et de restaurants. La personne qui nous a accueillis dans la maison était très sympathique et disponible. La maison est tout simplement superbe, pleine de charme et très bien équipée et nous avons même pu profiter de la terrasse ! Je recommande fortement !

A lovely set up with two beautiful cottages and lovely gardens which were ideal for the children. Comfortable beds , good linen and very relaxing living areas. The two cottage combination was ideal for us with grandparents and one year olds in our group. Very helpful assistance from owners and housekeeper when needed (they are not on site) This was our second visit and we are very keen to make a third next year.

We had a super family holiday here. In the middle of beautiful countryside this house and cottage were in immaculate condition. A pretty and safe garden ( for the children) enabled us to enjoy the fabulous weather to the full. See very much hope to return next year.

The perfect home for our trip to France. I have to thank the owner Ivan for a wonderful place for my family to spend 3 days in Northern France. I would have loved to have spent more time in your home but due to time constraints and having to see as much as we could in our short stay, we were not able to enjoy more of your home. Thank you so much for a wonderfully comfortable home that provides plenty of space for multiple families. We will be back again!
