About this house rental
Rent old fisherman's house completely renovated, ideally located close to the beach (350m) - Croisette (400m) and all shops (convenience stores-bakery-pharmacy-post office-newspapers-hairdresser-fishmonger-butcher-bank distributor 200-250m) in withdrawal from the street (private road) in a peaceful green setting in a garden, Pointe de la Croisette. An oasis of tranquility, we park the car and everything is done on foot! The luxury of a real vacation!
The 135 m² fully air-conditioned house has an enclosed garden with trees of 150 m2 and a large south-facing terrace of over 15 m2 equipped with blinds with garden furniture and teak dining table for 6 people, deckchairs, garden shower, Weber electric barbecue.
All rooms in the house overlook the garden.
On the ground floor, an entrance with separate toilet WC, a 44m2 living room with fireplace, large bay windows, with sofa, armchairs, table 6 chairs, flat screen TV, wifi access.
An independent kitchen equipped with new appliances: large fridge-freezer, microwave, 4-burner hob, washing machine and dishwasher, espresso machine, toaster.
Upstairs: 2 separate air-conditioned bedrooms with quality beds of 180x200 (2x90) and 160x200cm, a bathroom with WC, bath-shower.
For 6 people, we open the annex adjoining the house and you then have: a third bedroom with a 160 x 200m bed and a bathroom with WC and walk-in shower.
Free public parking area at 80m and free parking on the street and in the surrounding streets or possibility at 400m from a covered paying car park La Croisette.

You won't be able to see this property from the road. It is hidden down a path with a locked gate. We really liked the location because it is away from the busy center of town, but you can walk or Uber to get there. It is also close to the beach. It has a lovely back yard and the house is light and bright. The downstairs has an inviting living room and kitchen as well as a half bath and laundry room with washer and dryer. To get to the bedrooms, the stairs are narrow, so just be careful. The two upstairs bedrooms are private and there is a full bath as well. We were there in the summer and the house had air conditioning that worked well.
The owner and manager of the home were flexible with check-in when our train was delayed. We did pay an extra fee for late check-in, but we had no problem with that. The manager was very kind and accommodating.

Our host was gracious and flexible, especially when one of our party, traveling separately, arrived an hour earlier than we had planned, and he allowed her to conduct check-in.
The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Water pressure is strong, and the master suite has a luxurious overhead shower head plus a shower wand.
Location is in a quieter area, but the beach and and amazing restaurants are all with 10-15 minutes walk.

We stayed in the house 3-4 times now and look forward to coming again. Very comfortable and tidy place only a few minutes from the Croisette in a calm residential area. The house is very well equipped and all stores you may need for daily needs (bakery, supermarket, etc.) are within a few minutes walking range. Definitely a recommendation.

It took hours to get the keys. The internet did not work. They did not care or come to fix it. The place was in a wierd alley, there was no can opener, nobody really cares to offer a nice place to say, just to earn money by offering little. Very disappointing.

The house was nice newly renovated and the owner responded quickly to our requests. Unfortunately the wifi was down for almost a week and the smell from the first floor bathroom was a little unpleasant. Some of the furniture was in need of replacement but the overall experience was still good.

The house is quiet and nice but the light was terrible in my room only ( downstairs I spend all night with the light in and out a mask to cover my eyes , because it was broken . The lady that works there is wonderful the owner does not appeared . She does . They fixed the lights 3 days after we arrived . The bathroom downs stairs smells like a dead rat sometimes . At least I did sleep because Oliver told the Lady to put down the brakes for my room meanwhile . Even though I loved the quietness and the space in the garden Alf the glass windows even the garden was not very well taken care of . In General it was nice because is near the Port and hotels and is a very good location.

We passed four great days in Olivier's nice house for the second time now and as in the years before it's is well equipped and very tidy. Everything was perfectly organized.

Spacious, bright and has everything you need in a self-catering house. Can highly recommend it. The mosquitos has nothing to do with the house, but they were very present outdoors.
If I could improve anything it would be an outdoor mosquito machine and a longer shower hose.

Quiet location
Nice and quiet location within walking distance. We did not realize that simple hand soap was not provided for the sinks to wash your hands after using the bathroom. The local pharmacy was closed when we arrived so we're unable to get soap until the next day. I understand not leaving shampoo and conditioner but hand soap should be provided. Parking can sometimes be a pain so be prepared to walk. Also note that you have to make your own beds upon arrival.

Great stay!
We really enjoyed our 5-day stay in the very clean and quiet house. All items of daily use were available and the handover on site worked brilliantly. We would especially like to thank the landlord, Olivier, who remained so patient and friendly with us despite several postponements on our part due to the Covid pandemic. Thank you very much again for this, Olivier! We can absolutely recommend the house and would book it again at any time!

Beautiful house in a wonderful location
If you are looking to enjoy some peace and quiet while visiting Cannes, this house is an ideal getaway. The location is superb, close to everything, the house is large and comfortable, very clean, with a beautiful garden. The only hiccup was dealing with the rude property manager on arrival but the owner was delightful and very attentive.

Exceptionally appointed property. A peaceful oasis.
The villa is in a busy residential area surrounded by apartments. However, it is very peaceful and secluded. The property has been developed to the highest standard with great aircon, kitchen and bathroom.
Lovely beach 5 mins away. I favoured Plage Gazagnaire it was not too crowded and has good facilities. You can hire Paddle and Kayaks there also.
Be prepared to park and stride as the streets near the villa are very full with cars. I managed to find a parking place each day within about 4 minutes walk of the villa.

Wir waren mit dem Objekt sehr zufrieden. Am besten gefallen uns dass das Haus nicht unweit vom Strand und der Promenade von Cannes lag. Wirklich hervorragend war die Klimaanlage, für jedes Zimmer konnte die Temperatur separat eingestellt werden. Alles in allem konnten wir dadurch ein sehr guten Urlaub verbringen. Wir können die kleine Villa guten Gewissens sehr empfehlen!

Enjoy the sun, beach, life of Cannes
We enjoyed french living of the Côte D‘Azur very close to the Beach and everything you need!
We stayed at Oliviers with our two kids (2&5years), walked to the beach, shops, restaurants nearby. Parking along the street was never a problem. The kitchen was well-euqipped (only sharp knifes and one for the oysters was missing).
The only bugging thing were the mosquitos in the garden (nets infront of windows would be helpful), without them we would have enjoyed the garden, lounge and terrasse more often.

Tolles Haus mit Klimatisierung in jedem Raum und super Lage!
Es hat alles wunderbar geklappt, das Haus und der Garten sind wirklich Top. das Beste ist natürlich, dass jedes Zimmer im Haus über eigene Klimatisierung verfügt, was bei den Temperaturen Goldwert ist.
Die Lage ist sehr gut, man erreicht schnell die umliegende Strände und auch in Cannes Mitte ist man zu Fuß in 10 Minuten.
Wir können das Haus nur gerne weiterempfehlen!

La maison est très mignonne, avec de beaux travaux de rénovation récents :jardin et distribution intérieure très agréables. Propreté irréprochable et accueil très chaleureux de la part de la dame en charge de l'accueil et du ménage.

La maison est un petit bijou, si rare de nos jours par la bas...
Le plus gros des travaux de rénovation venait tout juste de s'achever à notre arrivée. Quelques réglages doivent être fait selon Olivier pour améliorer encore le confort quotidien des hôtes mais même sans ça, nous avons passé un très bon séjour en ayant une belle surprise sur les lieux.
Neuf donc plus que propre, un vrai confort en literie et climatisation, l'extérieur est parfait entre salon d'été, coin repas et végétation.
Yvette nous accueille chaleureusement et reste très disponible durant le séjour. Merci encore à elle!
Olivier est très réactif si besoin et adorable.
La proximité d'excellents commerces est très confortable (3 min à pied le premier) et celle de la plage, une perfection (8 min à pied)
Une belle adresse dans ce quartier magique de Cannes, la Palm Beach.

Bonne location
Maison idéalement située à quelques minutes à pied de la Croisette et de la plage du Mouret . Bien équipée , au calme malgré l'environnement des immeubles , quelques commerces à proximité mais en dépannage seulement , mériterait cependant un peu de raffraichissement ( store de la terrasse en mauvais état notamment ) . Au final une bonne location ! .

Wonderful stay again in La Roseraie
Just as last year, our Summer vacation in Cannes (July 8-19, 2017) in this quaint little house was idyllic. The house is perfectly located, a few minutes walk from everything: beaches (our favorite is the Moure Rouge beach, but beaches at La Croisette are also within a short walk), City sights and bustling life, and convenience stores. We are already planning our next stay there!
