The property is in a great location. Not in the centre of the action but close enough to be an enjoyable walk to the Cité or market/Place Carnot. Good space for our family of 4! Thank you Ludovic!

Gite super bien équipé. Nous sommes 2 adultes et 3 enfants et, habituellement, il faut prévoir pour notre 3e. Là, chacun son lit dans la seconde chambre. Notre fils était trop content! Emplacement idéal pour visiter la Cité. A 5 minutes à pied. Mais super calme malgré tout car rue en sens unique et les chambres sont coté cours. En plus, emplacement de parking réservé plus qu'appréciable. Rapport qualité-prix imbattable au vue des prestations

Séjour très reposant au pied de la Cité dans un gîte tout confort depuis lequel tout peut se faire a pied (5 minutes de la Cité et 10 minutes du centre ville). Propriétaire très sympathique, disponible et avenant. Nous recommandons et reviendrons. Bonnes fêtes

Die Wohnung ist toll gelegen - direkt unterhalb der Festung in Carcassonne, wenige Minuten Fussweg zum Eingang. In die Neustadt, über die schöne alte Brücke, ist es vielleicht 10 Minuten Fussweg, mit schöner Frontalsicht auf die Festung. Die Wohnung hat einen eigene Parkplatz, also kein Stress bei der Suche in den engen Strassen. Die Vermittlung und der Kontakt zum Vermieter waren völlig problemlos. Die Wohnung wurde sauber übergeben und ist für unsere Zwecke (Familie mit 2 Kindern im Teenager-Alter) vollkommen angemessen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und einige grundlegenden Lebensmittel (Zucker, Salz, Öl, Kaffeefilter etc.) waren auch da. Die Schlafzimmer sind ruhig. Die Terrasse könnte sonniger sein, aber in südlichen Ländern legt man offenbar mehr Wert auf Schatten und Kühle in der Wohnung. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können ihn und seine Wohnung empfehlen.

Well what can I say, the flat is great. You have everything you need and it is well maintained; it is also bigger than it looks in the photo. The location is perfect, you are just around the corner from the old town and slightly down the road the other way every other shop is a café, restaurant or bar. There is also a small shop where you can buy all the essentials. You also get off street parking which in Carcassonne is like gold dust. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

Un excellent séjour à Carcassonne, logement très bien situé, au pied de la citadelle, avec de nombreux petits restos sympas dans la rue. Le logement est spacieux, bien équipé, correspondant en tout point à l'annonce. Accueil très chaleureux du propriétaire, toujours disponible et de bons conseils. De plus la place de parking devant le logement a facilité notre séjour. Une adresse que je recommande

Super Lage, schöne Küche, sehr freundlicher und zuverlässiger Kontakt zum Vermieter.

Einfache, aber sehr zweckmäßige Ferienwohnung. Sowohl in die Cité als auch in die Stadt kommt man bequem zu Fuß. Die Parkmöglichkeit für einen PKW direkt vor dem Haus ist ebenso sehr komfortabel. Kleinere technische Probleme in der Wohnung wurden prompt und zuvorkommend angegangen. Da wir gern mit regionalen Produkten kochen, wäre eine Spülmaschine praktisch gewesen. Die funktionierte aber leider nicht und konnte während des zweiwöchigen Aufenthalts nicht repariert wrden.

Spacieux, propre, à 3 minutes de la cité, idéal pour les ballades du soir. Un super séjour dans la région : plages à 1h, nombreuses visites à faire (abbaye, châteaux cathare, rando, villages...) Monsieur SOUROU est très gentil (encore merci pour les places de spectacle ;). De plus, la place de parking permet de ne pas se prendre la tête le soir quand on revient de visite de la région. Encore merci pour ces 10 jours.

Le logement correspondait parfaitement à la description et aux photos. Les literies sont de très bonne qualité. La maison est située au pied de la cité et très proche du centre ville. L'emplacement de parking devant le logement permet justement les déplacements à pied vers la cité ou vers le centre de Carcassonne, sans se soucier du stationnement. Nous avons également profité pleinement de la terrasse (sans vis à vis). La gentillesse et la bonne communication avec le propriétaire sont à signaler.

We had an excellent stay in Carcasonne made possible by this excellent appartment The equipment in this venue was first rate and it was very spacious and would easily accommodate a larger group Parking in front was a huge bonus as it was quite a busy little road due to its awesome location so close to the cite Loads of bars and restaurants close by and that's without walking up to the fort Only two minor gripes.....the bath I'd have preferred a good shower and unfortunately they are renovating next door so we had a bit of noise However I would not hesitate to go again

This is a perfect place to stay in Carcassonne. It is near the foot of the Narbonne Gate, the main access to la cité. The apartment is very spacious and well equipped with a comfortable bed and living area. The owner is also very helpful and a very nice man. We would highly recommend this as an excellent location to explore the Carcassonne area. There is also an excellent parking space right in front of the building. This apartment is in an excellent location for hiking up to the castle in Carcassonne and is very close to the old, historical foot bridge and not far from the center of town. There are several restaurants and a small grocery store just down the street. Having traveled here by car, we found the convenience of the off-street parking a big bonus. The apartment is equipped with whatever you could possibly need during your stay, including a washing machine. The set-up of the apartment makes the bedrooms very quiet. We were concerned about the comments about the window coverings, but did not find them to be a negative at all. In fact, they helped to keep out the afternoon sun. If the weather is good, you can open the windows and easily see the lights of the castle. The outside patio is a nice space for both hanging wash & hanging out.

We three senior ladies truly enjoyed our time in Carcassonne. The apartment was way bigger than we had imagined.....thanks to the open concept. Everything we needed was there. Nice to sit out in the private courtyard, and enjoy our meals, and happy hour. The view in the evening of the castle/fortress from the apartment was great. Just a short 5 minute walk to the fortress, and a small grocery store. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the train station, and in the opposite direction a 20 minute walk to a larger supermarket. The only thing that was not a problem for us, but could be to anyway with mobility issues, are the 22 steps to get up into the apartment. All in all we would recommend this place for a great stay in a special town!!!

We had a very comfortable 2 week stay in this apartment. Ludovic, the owner, met us on our arrival to answer any questions that we had about the property and was very helpful and friendly. The kitchen was well supplied with a coffee maker, juice press, food processor, pressure cooker, dishwasher, microwave, a generous supply of cutlery, dishes, and other utensils. The bedrooms were quiet and quite spacious and the King bed was very comfortable. Both looked out onto a pretty, private patio where we had afternoon drinks enjoying views of a lovely big tree and an old abbey. The location was great - a 5 minute walk from the Cite (castle/fortress). A tabac (newsagent), small general store (epicerie) and patisserie were all only a minute's walk down the street and the service at all 3 was friendly. Also, it was a real advantage to be able to park our car directly in front of the apartment. The only things we were a little disappointed in were the views from the kitchen and sitting room. They were obscured by old, orange, diaphanous curtains which could not be pulled back, making the rooms gloomy, especially when it rained. Although the view of the houses across the street was not particularly inspiring, we would have enjoyed seeing the upper half of the cite ramparts lit up above them at night, if we not for these curtains. Also, the lighting in the second bedroom was very dim.

The property was very nice,with views of the Citadel. It was lovely and warm and well equipped and clean. Our only complaint would be that two more easy chairs would be an improvement. We went at the beginning of March for a week. With hindsight this was too early. The weather was cold and rather wet and this meant we were constrained in what we could do. We made the most of it, hired bikes one day and rode along the Canal, went walking another day etc, but really a week was too long when the weather is not good. We used public transport, trains, which were cheap and good. I hadn't been to France on holiday since my husband died some years ago and I feel their reputation for their cuisine has take. a big dive. The choice in general was pretty ordinary and limited.

A tasteful and well equipped apartment. With a lovely courtyard. Very convenient for the old city. Can see Castle from the apartment . Everything you need for a lovely stay in Carcassonne. A beautifully clean and well maintained apartment with everything you require. Very close to the lovely old city....you can see the walled city from the lounge/kitchen windows. Well equipped with everything you require for a comfortable stay. An amazing abundance of excellent cafes/bars/restaurants to choose from in the old city. The listing description was accurate with regards location, layout, facilities etc. Ludovic provided excellent customer service. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to a friend or relative and we would hope to use it again in the future.
