The flat was very accommodating and well located. It had all the basic necessities. It was cosy and was very comfortable.
A washing machine facility would have been great!

The apartment was very well equipped. Very convenient location for me and quiet at night, with the bedroom at the back of the building. I was glad to be on the first floor, as additional flights of stairs might have been a problem. I had to park in an adjacent street, which was actually fine, though I would hesitate to leave my car anywhere I couldn't see it in a large English town.
Emails via Booking.com apparently took some time to be passed on to me or the host. I had to phone to get the key code, as I hadn't received the host's email - possibly due to phone problems when I first arrived in France.

Very nice apartment.
No heat available when facilities listed heat available. I am 81 years old with mobility and breathing limitations. I am prone to getting colds and must have heat available. The unit was cold on arrival 24th May, and I tried to turn heat on. No heat in 20 minutes. So called owner and he advised heat not working. I told him I could not stay without heat and requested refund. He did not acknowledge he would return payment. I then sent message via booking.com to property making formal request for refund 25th May, To date I have no reply. Whatever you can do to expedite my request is most appreciated. I paid 184.62 euros 7th May via Master Card ending 1536. Thank you. Hermione

It was a lovely appartment to stay in, really comfortable and Marie-Astrid and Franck were so so nice. The communication was pretty good and they responded really quick. Thanks for all.

Ample size and all the necessary appliances.
Had to park on the street just in front of the property, nothing to dislike here.

We were here 8 nights and The house comes with almost everything we needed.
We prepared our breakfast and dinners daily during the time we stay here. The local ingredients are soooo fresh that makes you wanna cook more.. The appliances are in working condition. The location of this place is a 15 minutes walk from the main train station and you will pass through a city center Carrefour -supermarket. There is also local small business selling breads, fruits and meat just within walking distance from this place.
I gotten help from the host (Franck) to make taxi booking to the ferry terminal ( as apparently there are no bus services and some drivers just don't want to work on Sundays) so do bear in mind for your own traveling itinerary, if you do not have any vehicles, avoid Sundays to leave this place... If not is quite a Hassel.
1) the internet of this place is not great and you need to logged in every time and almost twice daily. The WiFi is also very slow
2)the streets are very very noisy even in the night. If you are planning to split this place (i.e. one person, sleeping in the room and the other on the couch) with a friend/ family member, please DO NOT do so, you will not have any peaceful nights. The streets are just soooo busy that you cannot have proper rest at all.

The host kept in contact with us and that was really appreciated. I loved the layout of the flat and the place had all we required. There was enough space for a family comfortably.
Not much to do in the immediate area. I wish it was a bit closer to the centre. The WIFI connection was not available throughout the flat and that could be improved. But I am nitpicking because this property is great value for money.
