The deck off the upper bedroom makes you feel as if your in a tree house looking at miles of water and bluffs. Wake each morning in both light-filled bedrooms with stunning vistas, each has its own beautiful bath. Cook in the new state-of-the-art cherry kitchen with stainless steel appliances while focusing on panoramic lake and park beauty. You won't mind doing dishes here! Enjoy dining from the built-in window seat with a back-drop of windows showcasing the best sights in Lake City. Waste away the afternoon in the screened-in porch or on the front porch swing watching the parade of majestic boats go by. You never need to get in your car after you arrive. It is just a few blocks to downtown Lake City and all it has to offer. The Lake City Marina is just two short blocks away. There is a tennis court there as well. Stroll the shores of Pepin or enjoy the sand beach at the park across the street.

We had a great 10 day stay. Communication with Holly was excellent and very responsive. The house is in a fantastic location. Quaint house.
Sleeps four comfortably. All dishes, pans, towels, etc…. Included. The grill was great.
Will definitely do it again.

Location and view are perfect. Charming old house with lots of character. Host was very responsive to messages. Looks like they are working on updating and it is much needed. Terrible storm while we stayed there, which is completely out of hosts control, but water was leaking inside multiple places throughout the house. It’s been happening for a while as wood was rotting around window being replaced. Dog hair all over the couches required us to put sheets on them to sit comfortably. Used soap from prior guests still on sink. Overall had a great stay, but for the price we paid, have higher expectations.

The house was a great place and comfortable. The location was perfect, close to a house other family members were staying. The host responded quickly and was so pleasant. Unique little cottage.

We had a wonderful visit to Lake City. The house has tons of character and charm. We loved the screened porch for morning and afternoon lounging. Great location on the water, and great access to enjoy walking paths near the water and marina. The views are incredible!

I have stayed here many times and every visit I am enchanted all over again! This quaint, adorable house has all the modern comforts - love the whirlpool and the free standing tub up in the aerie! The direct river views are magical, and sitting in the swing on 1 of 3 porches is so fun! The largest porch is screened (thank you!) and it and the top one give drop-dead views of Lake Pepin and upriver past Maiden Rock. I would love to be here all the time! 💖

I liked the style of the house, it was comfortable with great views of lake. I was able to bike, walk, and because I was envious of people fishing, I booked a guide and caught lots of fish. Great restaurants and shops nearby. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Overall this was a wonderful location and comfortable stay. The home does need some maintenance, however this did not distract much from the stay. It comfortably sleeps 4, however one person can stay on the fold-down couch.

A great place to stay with an even better view!!! We would stay again if we do another Lake Pepin Ride. The bathroom downstairs has a shower and separate jetted tub but the bathroom upstairs only has a claw foot tub.

Our place we stayed in was very clean and the view to the water is amazing. A quiet street runs between the house and river, so it feels like you are right in the river. The house is a short walk to the marina and the downtown. Our experience was fantastic. Our only issue was that we could not figure out how to access the internet, which in this day and age, seems to be a necessity. I highly recommend this place and would stay here again.

Booked because construction at our house forced us out for a few days. Great view up-river. Feet from river and 10 minute walk to downtown businesses including a very nice grocery store. Plenty of eateries, some “OK”, some real good. Not including restaurant reviews here, not the right place.

We had a great time! The kitchen was very nice and the location was beautiful overlooking the lake. A short drive to see the eagles was enjoyable as well. It didn’t end up being a problem but we were not aware that the upstairs bathroom is just a tub, not a shower and the jets did not work in the bath downstairs. We would love to stay again!

My husband, our 18 year old son, our family dog and myself stayed here while visiting my parents who live in the neighborhood. It's our second time staying here because we enjoyed it so much the first time. The house is cozy, sweet, and well stocked. The view from the living room, kitchen and dining area is absolutely breathtaking, even in the middle of winter. We enjoyed walking down the quaint streets in the snow, having our morning coffee at the breakfast nook (once while watching an eagle swoop onto the lake), and the overall character of the house. The homeowner was easy to communicate with and had everything at the house we could possibly need. Thanks for a fabulous stay.

We had a great time in Lake City. This house was perfect for us. Waking up every morning looking at beautiful Lake Pepin was a highlight for us. All shops and restaurants are in walking distance. We will certainly rent this property again when traveling to Lake City.

This property is absolutely adorable! Absolutely loved the views from the windows and especially love the front and side porch and upstairs balcony! Great location within walking distance of restaurants ! Also love how close it was to the beach, park and trail!

This is a great place to stay, if you want to fully experience the charm of Lake City. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the marina. Enjoyed morning walks along the lake. Watched eagles from the front window. We hope to come back!

This house is so cute with plenty of room for a family of four. It is close to Red Wing & Wabasha making it an easy drive to see the sights. The house was very clean with all you need to make a lunch or supper. I highly recommend it & will be back soon.

This perfect “Diamond in the rough” house, was the perfect place to stay with a small group.
Beautiful lake views, and within walking distance to everything.
The decor, and atmosphere in the house was shabby chic meets modern. Absolutely gorgeous!

Unfortunately some things really need attention. There were pieces of shingle all over the deck, you lookup and the roof looks like shredded cheese. Fortunately it didn't rain this weekend. Also, when we tried to fill the whirlpool tub with hot water the hot water ran out and it was tepid by the time it got to a good level so no nice soak. Above the shower is very water damaged. We recommend rip out drywall and put new tile in its place to prevent further damage.
We took pictures if you need to see what we have mentioned.
The view, though, is the draw. The house is stocked with linens and was quiet.
We wish the outside trash and recycling had been emptied. It was very full. Also, the TV/cable was sketchy. It would play sometimes but most times it just spun a circle. We did contact the owner but she couldn't help because she was out of country.
So in all it was a disappointment after the money you spend.
Sorry to be negative but after a wonderful experience with vacasa and VRBO this was a let down.

This was the first time Ive used Vrbo or rented a house for a vacation. The whole process was surprisingly easy! The house was perfect and even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. The location couldnt have been more perfect! Right across the street from Lake Pepin. My siblings and I had a wonderful time and would love to stay again!!
