About this villa rental
Island Dreemz is a 2,400 square foot tropical paradise on Vieques Island on the shore road on a cliff over the Atlantic Ocean, with breathtaking panoramic views of Culebra, St. Thomas, and of El Junque Peak in the rainforest on the main island of Puerto Rico. This beautiful, comfortable and private house on the North Shore Road has decks and patios sited high above a nearby coral reef with the soothing sound of waves and ocean breezes. Regular visitors include pelicans, the truly Magnificent Frigate Bird (wingspans of 7 feet), egrets, laughing gulls, and even the occasional humpback whale! A three-minutes' walk (about 100 yards) down the shore road takes you to a small, intimate beach where you can relax, snorkel and swim and whet your appetite for the sprawling beaches in the Wildlife Refuge a few miles away.
Island Dreemz is comfortably enveloped by ocean breeze and the sound of waves; however, it also offers quiet state-of-the-art, remote-controlled A/Cs in every room. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors display unimpeded views of the ocean from the upper floor.
Please note carefully: we can only accommodate children who are older than 5 years of age.
A cooler, beach chairs, and beach towels are provided. An outdoor shower in the garden is at your convenience for post-beach rinsing and refreshing.
It is less than a 10-minute walk along the shore road to the town of Isabel II with casual and world-class dining spots, an art gallery, and the wonderful deli/café/caterer 'Buen Provecho' with delicious imported cheeses - among many other delicious edibles and cafe. Here in Isabel II you can also find local night life and shopping.
Our amazing tropical garden and a natural coral tile-paved interior await you at our serene retreat. It is a sublime, contemporary-meets-natural two-story home away from home. There are 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms on the main floor upstairs and 2 bedrooms and one bathroom downstairs; each floor has a separate private entrance. All of this is your private retreat. Both floors have one bedroom with a queen-size bed and a second bedroom with two twin beds. (Only the second bedroom of the lower-level bedrooms has twin beds that can be attached for a king-size option). The bathroom downstairs is attached to the bedroom with the queen bed and is shared by a separate entrance to the other bedroom.
Each floor has a kitchen and living room with separate private entry with world-class art throughout. Downstairs the ceiling is lower, and the kitchen and dining room are smaller than the facilities on the main floor upstairs. There are views of the ocean from the front patio. Plan on getting together on the main floor to enjoy the panoramic views.
Kitchens are fully equipped with china, glassware, coffee makers and tea pots, ceramic cook tops and microwave ovens (because we like to cook!). But you will also have many other dining options. The upstairs kitchen also includes a large Breville convection toaster oven for roasting and baking if desired. Just steps from the kitchen is a large entertaining patio with a large 5-burner outdoor grill.
Hi-speed wifi service is provided free of charge at Island Dreemz when local service is working. Additionally, there is a large flat-screen television ready for streaming use with your own device. (Please bring whatever dongles your device requires.)
With on-site parking, large outdoor decks, modern appliances, a 7-foot natural stone shower, the wrap-around sun deck, a short walk to direct beach access (a small cove) that rarely has people on it, a 15-minute ride to the Vieques airport (Antonio Rivera Rodriguez Airport), your every need is anticipated. You're also about a 15-minute drive to Esperanza and its night life, tours of Bio Bay, our bioluminescent lagoon, and Sun Bay with all the other amazing beaches on Vieques.
We look forward to making your Island Dreemz come true!*

I must start by stating how beautiful this home is! Starting from the beautiful view down to the details of decorations, it was better than what the pictures showed. And to make it better, it had a huge mango tree in the backyard where we just picked and ate fresh mangoes.
My family was a party of six, with 4 semi adult children, it was more than enough space for us not to feel on top of each of each other. It's close enough to walk to and from ferry and some restaurants, not the easiest walk but doable. It has items all needed to cook in the house if you wish. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Which was a huge help for our family.
I'd advise to bring/rent some sort of beach mat, chairs, and umbrella since they are not provided. They do provide towels for the beach, which is what we used and that worked out for us.

Our host was the most reliable and helpful host we've ever had the pleasure to do deal with! She personally walked us through the spacious and beautiful house and property and gave us great advice about the local neighborhood- what to do and what we should avoid. She even checked in with us during our stay to make sure we were doing OK and didn't have any questions.
The house itself was also the best-stocked property we've ever seen. It had everything from lots of extra pillows and towels to everything you'd ever need in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood quiet. It also had great accessibility to a fun beach. While snorkeling, we saw a large assortment of beautiful sea-life.
A very fun addition to the house was the apartment-like area, below, where our adult children and partners could have some personal space.
Additionally, the house was just beautiful with its spacious and versatile porches and sitting areas.
The house even had an intriguing assortment of original art.
To sum it up, we would book this house again in a heartbeat!

The house was exactly as described. We had two families and there was plenty of room to spread out. The deck overlooking the ocean was our favorite place to hang out. Jolene, the house manager, made sure that our stay was above and beyond our expectations.

Jolene was so great with communication. She helped us find the property and met us there. Unbeknownst to me, after she showed us the property, she was the camera person for my engagment! He proposed on the beautiful back deck overlooking the ocean at sunset. It was just my fiance and I so we didn't use the basement much, but everything was in great shape. The property is sits on beautiful grounds. We listened to the sound of the waves each night. We loved the location. We could walk into town for breakfast/shopping and drive ten minutes into Esperanza each night. We rented a vehicle and had a nice spot to park in. The artwork throughout was amazing. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for our one week stay. The house also sits on a quiet street. Besides the occasional horse walking by, there wasn't much traffic and we never heard roosters. We will definitely be back (probably for our wedding) and would choose this place first to stay again!

Absolutely loved this property. The view is amazing! We enjoyed watching the surfers every day from the deck. Great location for exploring the whole island.
6.0 / 10.0
Nice location and very helpful property manager, Jolene, but basement (with two of the 4 bedrooms) was damp and moldy smelling. A few more minor problems were the main bedroom door was noisy to move, shower curtains didn’t stay up and having to use a key for each section of the sliding doors was cumbersome.

Our stay was wonderful and we have no critical complaints. The view was the most incredible source of relaxation one could ask for. We hope to visit Vieques many time in the future.

From the outside walking up, this property looks underwhelming, but when you step through the gate into the garden, you are transported to a wonderful tropical paradise. My wife and I agreed that in all of the years we have booked VRBO properties for our vacations, this property was the nicest we have stayed in.
The location is actually within walking distance of the ferry of you don't mind some uphill walking. It's not convenient, but when your ferry gets in after the car rental place has closed, you can skip the cab if you aren't opposed to hiking it.
We liked that having two units allowed our older children to have their own space while we were in Vieques.
We also took time to enjoy the view from the deck because it was amazing.

The house is great. The art is inspiring. The back deck was hard to leave behind. It’s a relaxing place to watch and listen to waves, watch and see both the sunset and sunrise! Such a great location and close to the city! Such a great spot. The host was very helpful and easy!

Our stay at Island Dreemz exceeded our expectations! Well equipped as advertised. We especially loved the views, fresh ocean breeze, and the relaxing sounds of the sea. Very nice place and highly recommended

We loved the view, oceans breeze was lovely and it was a convenient location. But there were some issues (not unusual for the island). The sliding doors to the deck were not working well. There were no screens downstairs. Apparently the owner has been trying to fix them for months. The kitchen is small and difficult to work in with more than one person. The property manager was good and came when called and took care of some of the problems. The downstairs is rather dark and not a great place to hang out.
All in all we had a great time because we love Vieques!

Well equipped. First rental with sharp kitchen knives. Jolene was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend this home. Perfect for a mixed group of friends and family.
10.0 / 10.0
The property was beautiful, had lots of character and was well maintained and clean. We loved being close enough to the water to hear the constant sound of waves. We took advantage of all that Vieques had to offer but we also enjoyed just spending time with family at the house!

This house exceeded our expectations! It was beautiful inside and out with beautiful art throughout. We could see the sunset from the deck. The sound of the ocean on the rocks made this place an oasis, so peaceful. The neighborhood was quiet with a short 10 min walk along the coast to the ferry. (Note, it is up a steep hill from the ferry). The view of the ocean was amazing! Our host Jolene was fantastic, extremely helpful and very responsive.

This is spacious home with gorgeous ocean views of Culebra. Each floor of this home would work for 4 guests very easily. definitely rent a car. it’s very easy to explore the beaches from this location and eat at the restaurants in Isabel and Esperanza. The support checking in was excellent. Rita went way out of her way to make sure that we were settled. Thank you for an excellent trip to Vieques.

A lovely home in spectacular location
This house is absolutely lovely. Warm. Inviting. Tastefully appointed. It is in a wonderful out-of -town but within walking distance to town location. The view from the front deck which overlooks and is within earshot of the ocean is stunning. The deck is perfectly situated such that in the morning you can watch the sunrise off to the right, while later that evening, you can watch the sun setting to your left. The caretaker, Jolene, was very gracious, attentive and knowledgeable. Prior to our arrival, she reached out to make herself available to answer any questions we might have prior to our arrival. Ann, the owner, was just as kind, attentive and communicative as Jolene. Thank you for allowing us to be a guest in your spectacular home.

Island Dreemz is a Treat!
We spent a week at the Island Dreemz property of Bravos de Boston in Vieques in late February and early March 2022. It is a wonderful retreat from the rat race. Quiet, clean, artful--all with an amazing view of the ocean. Special thanks to Jolene for her impeccable hosting and help throughout the week if we had questions or wondered where to go.

Amazing views and ocean sounds
The second floor wrap around deck provides unobstructed views to the ocean that pictures just don't capture. We used it for a multi group family trip and the two apartment format created both large gathering spaces and separate spaces for all our sanity.
The property is well maintained and both the owner and local manager take pride in making sure that any problems get dealt with quickly!

Perfect place for 4 couples
This beautiful villa with a million-dollar view is very spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen, laundry room with a digital washing machine, smart TV in the leaving room, comfortable furniture, nicely decorated. We also enjoyed sitting outside on the deck, watching the ocean, and listening to the sound of waves.
Everything was as described, and even more. Every little thing was thoughtfully prepared for a comfortable stay. All towels were new and very soft, superb quality. The owners provided a lot of condiments, coffee, tea, spices, etc. Our host Ann Marie and house manager Jolene were quickly responding to all our needs.
We didn't use the nearby beach since the Atlantic side was too wavy for us, but there're a lot of great beaches on the Caribbean side within 15 minutes ride, so a car is a must!
Very comfortable stay, we just loved it, and will be back!

Perfect Place to untie life’s knots
Hearing the Ocean all day and night. Seeing blue skies and torquoise seas. Feeling carribean trade winds. It was exactly what I needed to relax and untie the daily knots that accumulate during everyday life. This property was perfect to help accomplish this task. But let my be straight, if you need everything to be perfect at this location or on the island, then maybe Vieques is probably not the best place for you. However, if you can tolerate small inconveniences or minor issues, you will discover an unspoiled Caribbean paradise with some of the best undisturbed beaches on the planet. The best compliment I can give any property or location is would I recommend it to my closest like-minded friends? And the answer here is an undeniable Yes. Enjoy the location of this property and all Vieques has to offer to untie those knots. Enjoy your travels.

Lovely Stay in Vieques
This is a beautiful property that is as pictured. It was very clean and well stocked. The ocean views were incredible. We really enjoyed our time there. The owner and property manager were helpful, friendly and easy to communicate with.
A couple of notes about Vieques and the location itself. First, many restaurants and shops are closed in Vieques during the low season (which includes October when we went). The town of Isabel felt slightly deserted at times. Also, this property is located on the north part of the island, and the south part of the island has better beaches. So if you are looking for proximately to good beaches, you may want to choose a different location. The upside of going during low season is that beaches were quite empty, and it felt very covid-safe.

Vieques with my girls
Island Dreemz was exactly what we needed and hoped for, especially after Tropical Storm Grace delayed our arrival by 2 days.
The property itself is an oasis of beautiful gardens, including plenty of mangos, while also being close to everything on the island.
Lucy, the property manager, stayed in touch prior to our rocky arrival giving us up-to-date information re transport, restaurants, etc.
One suggestion I have would be to add handles to the outside of the sliding doors in order to open and close them more easily.
We would love to return to hopefully catch the Bio Bay when it is all aglow. Thank-you for a wonderful getaway!

Bright and beautiful
The house was perfect for our group of 6. Our 2 adult children and their SOs had lots of their own space in the “downstairs unit.” And we had plenty of well organized space upstairs for all of us together. Lovely ocean sounds and peeping frogs at night. The yard is lovely too. We really liked the little rocky beach nearby - not a snorkel spot, but great for soaking in the ocean or reading in a chair.
Plenty of refrigerator space; and while the toaster oven took some patience learning how to operate, it and the huge outdoor grill served us brilliantly.
The host and house manager, Lucy, are super helpful and quick to respond! Everything was clean and well organized when we arrived. Great communication with Lucy during our stay too.

Stunning oceanview home on northern Vieques coast
We absolutely loved our time at Island Dreemz estate. We are a family of 6 (4 teens) and the house was perfect for us. TONS of room for relaxing without being in each others' way. House was well apportioned and there was seating for everyone on the deck or inside. Views from the deck are stunning--perfectly unobstructed views! We generally ate 2 meals/day at the house, then went out for nice dinner. No oven, but a huge convection toaster oven that fit frozen pizzas easily.
Stove/microwave/coffee maker were perfect. Great communication from the owner in advance of the trip, and Lucy, our Vieques contact was incredibly helpful. Outdoor shower plus 3 foot-rinsing faucets--A+. Some days we walked to the local beach (access point right after Lanchita-2 min walk) to watch the sunset. We would rent this home again in an instant!
About the trip (for first-time Vieques travelers): really liked being on northern side near Isabel II. Far fewer tourists and restaurants were amazing. El Local, Biekes Bistro, and Mama Mia were favorites with DeFrozz for breakfast and smoothies/coffee/ice cream. The drive to the southern beaches only took 15 minutes and totally worth it. Did the Esperanza Riding company tour and the Vieques Kayaks BioBay tour and LOVED both. Rented snorkels from Blackbeards for the 10 days and used them almost every day. Loved all the beaches in the wildlife refuge. No one recommends Playa Grande (it's very rough) but we thought it was incredible! For swimming /snorkeling we liked Caracas, Chiva, and Pata Prieta. Superdescuentos Morales was our favorite grocery. Highly recommend rental car to get around and glad we got the additional insurance. Loved the island and the people--very relaxing getaway!

Island Dreemz was perfect.
The house lives really well with spacious living/dining/kitchen spaces on each level. There’s plenty of space to gather in groups and the bedrooms are also large and pleasant if you need a siesta. The house is solid and quiet. There is a deck on the front overlooking the ocean. A large deck in the back garden has an ocean view, too. The house and grounds are well kept, relaxed and lovely. It was a short walk to restaurants, nightlife and the grocery; however, I recommend reserving a car or golf cart for grocery runs. Beer and ice get heavy in a quarter mile walk. A vehicle also allowed us to roam Vieques at our leisure. All in all, Island Dreemz is a well appointed vacation house with everything we could have needed.

Great Get-away from the Hustle & Bustle
Island Dreemz was great. The rooms upstairs were large and well-appointed, and downstairs was very nice too (if a touch smaller). Both suites had usable kitchens, and the bathrooms were great. The deck was a great place for morning coffee or evening cocktails, and the view was excellent.
Lucy, the property manager, was very friendly and easy to deal with. She arranged a taxi to the airport for us, and she greeted us at the house when we arrived to show us around.
The location was a short (very walkable) distance from the middle of Isabel II, and we had no trouble getting around the island in our rented golf carts. The only downside was the lack of a usable beach. There is a small beach a short walk away, but the seaweed stirred up by a recent storm made it unusable. Seaglass Beach in Isabel turned out to be a much better option.

My friends and I had an incredible stay at Island Dreemz! The views from the deck were amazing and falling asleep to the sound of REAL ocean waves was so relaxing and surreal. All of our rooms were clean and there was plenty of space for everyone. Both Ann Marie and Lucy were so quick to respond any time we had questions. Truly an amazing week!

DREAMS Island WAS MESMERIZING!
First of all Lucy, they property Manager was EXCELLENT!!! We had some hiccups getting there, but she handled All the issues and she Got us there. We LOVE LUCY!! The house was EXCELLENT, the only 2 minor issues were the sliding screens were difficult to maneuver, and the living probably needed 2 AC units. Otherwise the view and house was PHENOMENAL!!! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! 😍
