This property was just right for our family! Spacious, well equipped, and cozy, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The location was so convenient for skiing; even our young grandchildren could easily get to the slopes they were learning on. The garage and ground level equipment room were great for storing ski apparel, boots, etc. We will be returning again!!

The condo is as close to the main base without staying in the resort. We literally walked 200yds in our ski boots, locked into the skis and took off but we also had tons of snow so it may be different under different conditions.
Unfortunately many of the amenities that we booked the place for, including the indoor hot tub and wood burning fireplace were not working. We did get some money back but it was disappointing when we were told they were working to fix these issues but once we arrived there was clearly no intention of that.
The garage with ski storage including a boot dryer was great.
Overall not worth the price because for slightly more we could have stayed on property at the Big Sky Resort and had access to the pools and hot tubs.
We enjoyed our stay for the convenience but the place needs upgrades!

We had a wonderful time! Had issues with the Wi-Fi and they responded immediately after reporting it, and got it repaired (unit replaced!) that day. The resort contact was very responsive and easy to work with 😊

My family of 6, ages 17 - 50's stayed here for a spring ski vacation. This was our first time in Big Sky. The condo was very pleasant to stay in, the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed but often missing in a rental, such as good cooking utensils, cooking oil, cooking spray, coffee filters, dish soap, paper towels etc., even laundry pods were included, This was much appreciated since we did not rent a car for our stay. A very important feature for us was the hot tub, but unfortunately for our stay it was not working and was to be fixed after we left, but Big Sky Rentals was great about compensating us for the loss of use. The garage for storing ski equipment was great so that we did not have to clutter up the living space with all our gear. I would suggest that the owners install a clear shower liner in the upstairs bathroom though, when you close the shower curtain, the shower is very dark as the light is not over the tub and the curtain is mounted near the ceiling, blocking the light. The firewood and lighter wood was also much appreciated as it was cold and we enjoyed the fireplace during our stay.

Location is super. We had two families with 6 kids between us and the space was great for all of us. The condo is dated, but has a decently stocked kitchen. The dryer doesn't work very well, but it was okay. The condo is definitely located so you can ski in, but "ski out" is a stretch. You have to walk up to the end of the parking lot to get to a slope, which then takes you to a super slow lift in order to get to the fast lifts. Overall, we had a great visit!

The property was nice, but we were thankful we did not have 14 guests like the listing advertised. The home should have no more than 8 people.

Perfect Condo
Fantastic place to stay! Certainly one of the best locations to stay on the mountain. Clean, professional, and spacious. Everything my group could have asked for

Spacious and comfortable
We came to Big Sky with a group of friends, and could not have been happier with this property. Easy access, great amenities. It was a perfect place to stay.

Beaverhed Lodge
Great house for our big family. We were there in summer so used it as base for Yellowstone. It is an hour from Yellowstone and once you are in the park you will be driving at least an hour to see sites. Just be aware that there will be a lot of time in the car. For skiing it is right in the middle of everything. Well accommodated for skis.
For summer just be aware of long days in the car to get to the parks. The home was excellent.

Great condo for families
We really enjoyed the space of this condo. The kids and adults had plenty of room to relax after a wonderful day of skiing. The kitchen had all the necessary cooking utensils including a crockpot.

Nice, convenient condo
Condo served us well; it's very convenient to the mountain village base with a short walk to get on the slopes. Spacious and nice, with beautiful views. Things are a bit dated (doors not closing properly, pots and pans old, DW rack off its runner, etc.) and the hot tub would have been nicer outdoors. But overall it was a nice condo and we enjoyed our stay.

Great Stay!
I was fortunate enough to get 12 of my best friends together for a trip out to Big Sky for an extended weekend of skiing, knowing that Beaverhead was the place to be for the ski-in/ski-out amenities. Once again, it did not disappoint. We had all the amenities we needed to sleep 13 people comfortably and had a minor issue resolved with the grill within 24 hours. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay with more than enough room. Heated garage was great for storing ski and snowboard gear, while the hot tub was great to unwind after a long day of skiing. Foosball table definitely a plus to keep the boys entertained!

Family Reunion
Excellent layout and arrangement for our group of 13. Conveniently located near the base mountain facilities. Well stocked with the basics for cooking and bath/laundry. Staff at Big Sky was great in making sure everything was in order. While a little farther than expected to Yellowstone, it worked out having a large condo to return, much better than most other closer options for a large group. Definitely would come back again, would like to check it out in winter also.

Awesome!
The condo was great! We had four families and each family had a bathroom. Plenty of sleeping room and the kids kept themselves well entertained with the games and the hot tub. We ate most of our meals there. Used the grills provided. Plenty of seating room - we had 8 adults and 8 kids. We found everything more than satisfactory. Thank you for a great stay and great memories! Just a heads up - there are 36 steps to the front door. :) Free fitness routine.

wonderful gem in Big Sky
We stayed at this condo for 4 days during our recent summer trip to Big Sky/Yellowstone with a large family. The property is located in Big SKY resort and close to BIG sky town ( 10 mins drive) and yellowstone national park ( 45 mins drive). Condo offers beautiful vista and adorns modern yet rustic decoration. It was appropriately equipped with the supplies needed for a large family during our stay. Management was prompt in resolving an issue we had with the garbage disposal. Only caution, the condo is on 3rd floor. So if you have difficulties in climbing stairs then you might want to opt for other lower level units. Definitely recommend BIG SKy and especially this condo.

Midwest traveler
The condo was exactly as promised, and the staff at Big Sky Vacation Rentals was an absolute pleasure to work with. I loved that I didn't even have to haul laundry detergent, shampoo or conditioner along. That's the first home I've rented through VRBO that included those items! Loved the views, hiking, proximity to Yellowstone, rafting, and horseback riding. Something different to do every day!

Our stay at Big Sky Resort
We stayed at this condo for 5 nights and 4 days. We are a group of 16 people among them there were 8 kids and 8 adults. Management was very friendly, they arranged beds for extra 2 people. Kitchen had all the stuff needed to cook for 16 people. Our kids enjoyed with hot tub, playing WII, Foes ball and chess. After Yellow stone trip if we ask them about best part of the trip they say it was staying at 1422 Beaverhead. Our group is very happy with the stay.

Great Big Sky Condo and Location
I recently rented this unit for a group of 8. It was a fantastic trip and the condo worked out perfectly. The location is nice because it's only a 5 minute walk to the main base area. In addition, it was easy to just ski right up to the unit itself (although you have to ski down the road a bit so there needs to be snow on it). Regardless, pretty easy ski in/ski out.
The unit itself was huge and comfortable. Very clean and had all the amenities one would need. Fully stocked kitchen, towels, blankets, etc. Full Direct TV in the family room, upstairs living room, and 2 of the bedrooms.
The only downside to this unit in my opinion is the fully indoor hot tub which you have to access by going through 1 of the 2 main bedrooms. The two main bedrooms can end up getting a little chlorine smell since they are connected to the hot tub room (not a bid deal though). We wished the hot tub was outside, however.
I would highly recommend this unit if you have a larger group and want something super close to all the action.
