I stayed here with my wife, our daughter, and both sets of grandparents (all in their 80s). We were passing through on our way from Bozeman to Jackson and only stayed one night. The cabin was a little difficult to find, and in need of some maintenance. In particular, the railing up the steps outside the front door is very loose and is a bit of a safety issue for anyone who would rely on it for balance. The front door sticks and is difficult to open and close. These would seem to be fairly easy things to fix. Otherwise, the inside was what I would expect for an aged cabin in the mountains. Overall, it was fine for a quick overnight stay.

It was a beautiful place. The views were outstanding.

Tough one to review. Really cool cabin but you can just tell the difference between an owner run and a property manager run rental. There were two pillows with blood on them, all four air mattresses were leaking and made it seem like you were sleeping in a canoe. BBQ grill was leaking propane, the deck is failing with a few boards rotted out. That being said, the PM was very quick to get back on all this stuff, got two different air mattresses (on still leaked) and a new BBQ. Overall great cabin, just not well taken care of.

We enjoyed the area. Easy access to many areas.
Many light bulbs inside cabin burnt out, not enough bath towels, hand towel, wash cloths, very litle toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags.

The whole stay was so so awesome. The only thing is the dumpster is a little bit confusing!!! it says it’ll have an address on there, but I couldn’t find the address and none of the locks unlocked with the passcode!!! so we did have to take our garbage to town but 10 out of 10 amazing!

Tom's Cabin was a great place to stay for big groups! We did a friend ski trip to Big Sky and this was the perfect place. It had a lot of beds, a great cooking space, and a sauna we used every night after skiing. We were able to take multiple cars and park around the house. We all had 4-wheel drive with winter tires, which was needed to get around Big Sky in the winter. Jenna was great at responding to all of our questions and responded really quickly. Jenna also gave us awesome detailed information on the cabin and Big Sky in general! If we plan to do another friend trip to Big Sky we will definitely be staying at Tom's Cabin again!

Location was very good for our skiing at Big Sky. The cabin was very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We ate in five of the seven nights we were there. We were disappointed with the outdoor gas grill. It was very dirty and not useable. Our thanks to the property Rep. Jenna. The access road was very icy one morning and Jenna took care of the problem immediately. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you. Tom

We only needed a place to stay the night after backpacking and before flying out the next morning. Great cabin with good rustic feel. Slept 8 of us comfortably.

We had a wonderful stay at Tom's Cabin! The place was super clean, warm and perfectly reflected the photos on the listing. There was plenty of space for our group of 6 with several extra beds. The huge fireplace in the middle of the house definitely kept us warm. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped and there were plenty of games to keep us entertained. This cabin is very secluded and was about a 10 min drive from any restaurants or shops so having a car is recommended.

We loved our stay here! It was spacious and beautiful. There were also so many small things that were at the house that you might otherwise forget like cooking oil and spices. Definitely would go back!

The way the house is divided into 3 levels, it makes for a great space to get our work done in a relaxed atmosphere and everyone has their space. Kitchen and dining worked well and the sauna was a pleasant surprise. Biggest draw back was the icy road in.

Toms cabin is beautiful. The main floor has windows to enjoy the views. While there, the kids enjoyed sledding in the snow. We were lucky enough to see elk and deer during our stay. Would highly recommend for anyone who enjoys the outdoors.

The property was gorgeous, we experienced the cabin without snow and then 9 inches fell overnight. The transformation was spectaular. Very Spaceious, charming and warm! The fireplace was marvelous, the cabin was very clean and very well maintained. It was perfect for a couples getaway but we will be back with our large family. Loved the quiet setting away from noisy roads and from nearby neighbors. However the location is close enough to Yellowstone, Bozemand and Big Sky. The beauty of Montana was an awesome experience.! Also the communication with the host was fantastic, never left us guessing on how to get in the property and was very informative when we had questions or needed things. Thank you Jenna & Jolene!

The facility is very good. Kitchen, baths, living and sleeping areas were excellent. Cleanliness and maintenance were not. The outside stairs and rails need repair or replacement. The weeds around the staircase need to be trimmed. Someone could fall and hurt themselves on the stairs to the deck. the Weber grill needs cleaning. We ended up buying toilet paper as there were only 2 partial rolls and 2 replacement rolls for a large group for several days. Someone needs to check on the cleaning to be certain everything is a tually cleaned.

Nice cabin in beautiful location
Stayed here for about a week with a group of 9 for a ski trip to Big Sky. The cabin was clean and as advertised and had no trouble accommodating the size of the group. We would definitely look to stay here again in the future.

Awesome cabin
Great place to stay for a week of snowboarding at Big Sky! About 20 mins from the resort, 5 mins from town. Fully stocked kitchen, super easy to communicate with owners. Only thing to note was there’s only 7 beds, 4 of them being singles so having 14 people was tough, however there were 2 air mattresses. Overall amazing experience!

Great Place!!
We stayed here with 2 families. A total of 4 adults and 3 teens. The cabin was Fantastic! Tons of room. Super comfy. Stayed warm at -20 degrees. We hit a cold spell... About 10 miles to Big Sky. We were staying midweek and had very little problem with traffic or parking at the resort. Beautiful Cabin and Location. Hope to stay here again on our next visit to Big Sky.
Thank You.

Ski Demo at Big Sky
There were 6 of us with our primary purpose of trip to test skis for Hurricane Racing at Ski Bowl. I think we were very fortunate to find and book Tom's Cabin. Proximity to Big Sky Resort was easy and fast. We cooked all meals at cabin and had all utensils needed. The cabin itself was much better than we expected and loved watching Olympics with fireplace blazing. The girls at Peak Properties were amazingly easy to contact and helped make our trip both fun and successful. Would definitely stay here at next years ski event. Billybob

Peaceful cabin in the woods
Tom’s cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. There was plenty of room for the entire family. There were great views and we loved sitting out in the morning drinking coffee and sitting out in the evening drinking cocktails. We did all our cooking in the kitchen which was fully equipped with everything we needed. There was a TV and some game available. We didn’t use the big fireplace but would definitely use it in colder weather. The beds were really comfy and they had down comforters which we love! Great stay overall, would highly recommend it!

Our family enjoyed this cabin and it's location. The cabin was very clean, one of the cleanest rentals I have ever seen. The kitchen was large and perfect for cooking for a large family. The smart tv in the living area was great for streaming movies. The porch offered seating and great views during the early morning with coffee or late evenings with a glass of wine. I highly recommend Tom's Cabin! We hope to stay there again.
