Great place for a long weekend. Close enough to Asheville with a fantastic view!

This is a property we would stay in again. Great communication from the team and the house was clean and lovely. Perhaps the highlight is the location. The view was extraordinary. Sunrise was a delight to watch over the mountains in the distance. It’s worth it just for the view. Since you are up in the mountains, you may want to consider 4 wheel drive for the approach.

This property is a real gem with stunning views. It was very clean and the check in and communication process was very smooth.

Property was perfect for our group of six! We did spot a couple bears on our travels.
Road back to property is in dire need of repair and maintenance but we truly loved the property

Property is amazing. 4 couples had such a fun time. Kitchen very well stocked. Plenty of towels. Bathrooms could have more towel bars or hooks. The large deck in back was perfect for morning coffee and just relaxing or reading a good book. Dining room plenty of seating for dinig together and for a fun eveng of cards and games. Ɓedroom are great, lots of closet spaces. We so enjoyed seeing bear on several occasions and got some great pics from the front porch. The book of instructions was very complete and helpful. Thanks for the chance to stay at you beautiful home.

Wonderful stay for our family. Large comfortable home with beautiful views from the large porch. 2 master suites on the first floor with large bathrooms and walk in showers are a great help if traveling with the elderly or handicapped. Close to grocery and downtown Asheville. Highly recommend

Lovely house with great views. Plenty of space for extended family to spread out and cook large meals. Property manager was very responsive to all questions.

Everything about this property was amazing. It was the perfect spot for our family to celebrate my son’s graduation and Mother’s Day. The beautiful view and private setting were perfect. We enjoyed the close proximity to downtown too. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home.

Responsive owners/managers at the point of booking. Listing was accurate and very private property. The house is a great layout for a single large family or two small families.

This place was magnificent! Best stocked kitchen ever. You tube was not operating on the main television. The oven thermostat on the top oven was iffy. Minor details in the scheme of things. There were eight of us and had plenty of room! We will be back!

Our family got together to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday. The house was fantastic. Plenty of room for 8adults and 5 children ranging from 1 to 6. The house was very roomy but cozy and was supplied with everything we needed for a long weekend

This property was a great find for us. Our adult children, their spouses and first grandchild (9months) stayed with us. The upstairs area with the crib was excellent for our daughter, son-in-law and grandchild. They were able to be up early without the rest of us being disturbed. The living area was perfect for our granddaughter to crawl around and explore.
We loved that the house has a high chair and we found outlet protectors in one of the kitchen drawers.

This is a beautiful property and the pictures don't do it justice. You have to step out on the back deck overlooking the mountains and sit at the wonderful firepit to understand how great it is. The layout is wonderful, open concept, and made for an amazing and cozy atmosphere for friends vacationing together. I'd love to bring my kids and their families here next year so they can experience it too. It was truly wonderful!

This is an incredible rental home, probably the best rental home we have ever stayed in. The location of the house to both downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway is amazing, and the view of the back porch is spectacular. The house has the most well-stocked kitchen we’ve ever encountered, and there are so many other touches for traveling families (high chair, baby gate, crib, bunk beds, plenty of games, etc.) that make a huge difference in aggregate. The house is beautiful, well thought-out and quite spacious (good sized bedrooms, large bathrooms/closets, two separate living spaces, big back porch). The hosts are very communicative and everything was very well labeled and easy to find. We absolutely LOVED our stay here and can’t wait to come back!

We had a great stay at Foxhaven. The house was exactly as advertised and was perfect for our family. It was very convenient to Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. The drive to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock was a little longer, but still manageable.

The house was amazing and exactly as described on VRBO. We stayed for the week with our family if 4 and my mom/dad (grandparents). There was more than enough room for us with an extra room to spare. The selling point for us was the view from the back porch and it did not disappoint! We spent every morning out there with our coffee - gorgeous!

Absolutely perfect Location, View and Home. The group could not stop raving about the home. Everything supplied was top shelf. It was nice staying in a rental home that did not feel like a rental. Top notch towels, appliances, and cutlery.
Highly recommend.

This was a beautiful home, perfect for a family of six. There was ample space for everyone and the house was fully stocked with everything we could need for a week’s stay. The views from the balcony were spectacular and they open floor plan made it perfect to enjoy our family time. Check in and check out was very easy and we could not have asked for anything more. We’d love to come back one day soon!

Absolutely wonderful stay. One of the best we have had! The view was amazing, and we sat on the porch anytime we were at the house. The location was great - quick drive to almost anything we wanted to do. Owners thought of everything - well equipped kitchen, plenty of linens, even extra towels for "activities". Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to others!

Efficient, responsive property management. Minor maintenance issue addressed very quickly by friendly, capable and communicative individual.

Roomy, spacious house with terrific views from many rooms and a wonderful deck. We spent most of our time out there, enjoying the view and the cool mountain breeze. The kitchen had many extras and a generous amount of the basics. We enjoyed cooking there. The house was very clean and the furniture was comfortable and cozy.
Our only suggestion is to please add grab bars to the showers as they were quite slippery to our older family members.

It accommodated 3 families:). My Mom is handicapped and walks with two canes. We had 8 adults in the house with plenty of room for movement and space. The view and deck area was our favorite. This was close to everything! But secluded. We enjoyed the mountains and downtown during the day and very quiet evenings at night. Great communication with the property management team also. Thank you!!! We would love to stay again.

The property is great, the Mountain View from the deck spectacular, easy access to the airport, downtown and hiking and yet you feel as though you are far away from everything. The house had many amenities and the management staff were really nice and helpful. Bonus; we got to see a mama bear and three cubs walking down the road.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. House was beautiful, Great location, good view, easy access in and out of Asheville. Would recommend

Perfect house close to Asheville. Only downside is if basement was finished we’d rent yearly. Otherwise perfect!

We love renting mountain houses for our group trips. We typically have to choose between isolation with no contact with towns or being in a crowded community. This was best of both. Close to town while having a view and surrounding area that lets you feel away from it all. The house is very solid now (Feb 2023) but can’t wait to see what they do with the entertainment space on the bottom floor.

This is the cleanest property we have ever rented. Spacious and a very well stocked kitchen. Check in super easy and location was perfect!

We had a great time staying in this house. It was between Asheville and Black Mountain, close to everything. And we got to see a bear! Very exciting. Loved the firepit.

House was very nice. Stunning views. No problems with anything. It would benefit from insulation in the internal walls.

The property was great! Easy drive to restaurants, grocery store and activites. Management was very responsive to our few questions. The views were amazing!! A very lovely home.

The property was wonderful! It had a nice set up for both adults and kids. The kitchen was well stocked and there were nice amenities both inside and out. We enjoyed the view from the deck and used the fire pit to make s’mores.
It made for a very nice vacation.

We loved the views of the property and the proximity to Asheville. Two items that could be improved are the mattresses and the amount of hot water for showers. The mattresses were uncomfortable, and I would expect a higher quality of mattress for a high end property. We had eight guests total and there wasn’t enough hot water for all to shower.
10.0
The property was perfect -- beyond perfect. The home is beautiful, the views are beautiful, it is an easy drive to restaurants, the grocery store, and activities. We have traveled extensively and this property was/is one of my absolute favorites. I want to come back!
