À éviter quand il fait froid. Et quand il fait chaud ne pas ouvrir les fenêtres.

Emplacement idéal. Design élégant.

Impossible de régler le chauffage. Il faisait vraiment très froid. Bruit de soufflerie permanent dans la chambre principale. Encore pire si on ouvre une fenêtre. Hôte informé mais peu concerné.

Cozy Flat, Perfect Location, and Exceptional Service

I had an excellent stay at this hotel! The flat was both cozy and spacious, with everything we needed—from a hair dryer to a dishwasher, making it feel like a home away from home. The early check-in option was a great bonus, and the location couldn’t have been better, situated right next to a street filled with amazing restaurants. Despite being in a busy part of town, the building was wonderfully quiet, allowing us to explore the city and then come back to relax and rest. The best part of my stay was the exceptional service. I accidentally locked myself out of the flat just before departing, with all my luggage still inside. The hosts went above and beyond to help me get back in, ensuring I made it to my flight on time. Their communication was fast and incredibly helpful. I highly recommend staying here!

Charming, restful place to put your feet up and relax after a day's adventures

The 3-storey house was located just outside the center, so you get the quiet, but it's only about a 6-minute walk to the center plaza where all the action is. The beds were comfortable. The place has air conditioning and a washing machine with a dryer! There's a soaking tub. It's a cute house with a cottagey feel.

The stairs were teeny so we decided it was more convenient to keep our luggage on the ground floor (it was no big deal for us). It's a bit far to walk to the Europe Lille station but a very cheap taxi ride (Bolt) is worth it, especially if you have big luggage like we did.

Pleasant apartment with good facilities for a short stay.

Good location. Comfortable with good kitchen facilities for a short stay.

There was not enough lighting in the complex stairwells and hallway, and it was particularly dark arriving with luggage in the evening with the lights only staying on for about 30 seconds. Not even enough time to find the keyhole to open the doors.

The best location in town.

Location, location, location. The best possible place in town. The apartment was well equipped and practical.

Could use some renovation, or a higher lever decor. The double bed in main bedroom was not very comfortable.

Superb

This was in a perfect location for us to spend two nights with our two children and explore the centre of Lyon. Well equipped and clean. It was comfortable and our children settled well into their twin room. The easy, flexible check in and late check out is great. We appreciated the host responding to us very quickly. A fantastic apartment, would definitely recommend! Thank you!

Great location and decor but......

Location was superb- 2 mins from river on one side & Bellecour Metro on other, easy walk to Old Town and great local restaurants and bars within 5 mins.

Like previous guests have said, we were a bit surprised that it was smaller than it looks- the single beds are a bit of a challenge for a fully grown adult unless you are slim/petite. We were also slightly disappointed that, at this price, there was chipped crockery, peeling/rusty lounge tables, no hand-wash or soap in bathroom or kitchen and a temperamental filter coffee machine that gave luke warm coffee. There is no literature on Lyon in the flat which made it feel a bit impersonal compared to other places. The floors are very creaky if you have quiet sleepers and the street outside can be quite lively at night (on the weekend) if you are in the main bedroom, and sensitive to noise. There was no hall light so we had to use our phone torch on the main stairs, which felt a bit unsafe on the 1st night but was OK as there were 4 of us. However, overall a 7.5 rating.

Ok but…

This apartment is perfectly located for Lyon sights, shopping and nightlife. However there were several issues.

The rooms are smaller than they look in photos. Although clean and well equipped, the apartment was strangely lacking in certain obvious amenities such as hand soap in the bathroom or hangers in the closets. One side of the double bed mattress was sloping towards the edge, making sleeping on that side impossible. Even though it’s an old building, it was impossible to close some of the window shutters properly. The main problem was that the elevator wasn’t working during my entire stay and there was no lighting above the ground floor, so at night this meant walking up two flights of stairs by the light from a mobile phone. Far from ideal.

Apartment as lovely as the photos

This lovely apartment could not be better placed for visiting all that Lyon has to offer. Carine was extremely pleasant on the telephone and when we had a problem ( a broken plug in the bathroom ) her husband promptly popped round to fix it.

A fan in the courtyard outside was a little noisy, but no problem for us... as a city centre apartment it was otherwise very quiet.

Good location and fairly comfortable, although some things need to be better maintained

Great location (although a little further from the parking entrance than we expected), thank God there was an elevator although old/primitive, clear check in instructions (although we needed to travel a little bit and it was like an escape room mystery with multiple things to figure out). Excellent rain shower and shampoo provided.

Windows, cabinets, and the coffee table were old and not maintained. It looked like the shower was newly renovated but not the other parts of the house. The coffee table is not the same one as shown in the picture; it was green and rusted

Superb

Location was great. Very close to Bellecour metro. Round the corner from fashion shopping. 10 minutes walk over the bridge to the old town which was fantastic for restaurants 'bouchons' which specialise in traditional lyonaisse cooking. We really enjoyed our stay and Carine was great checking in with us by text to ensure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Location, kitchen, 2 bedrooms. Overall very comfortable for a family of four with two small children. Wi-Fi handled 4 streaming devices quite well. Location is fantastic, central to everything

Very squeaky floors & Pan handler stationed outside front door of building due to a smoke/vape shop next door. No issues in any way, just had to say no to the person every time we went in and out. We'd still stay there again.

Dated apartment in good location

Location is good. The apartment is spacious. The toilet and the bathroom are separated. There is a washing machine.

We have to collect the keys from a separate location. Although the walk is only 5 - 10 mins, it was tedious with all the luggage in tow. The apartment is located in a old building which many units operating as offices. The corridor lights operate on sensor, but it always turns off too soon so we often find ourselves walking in the dark. We were spooked when we first arrived and struggled to open the door in the dark.

Very central, spacious, well equipped, nice beds, kitchen well equipped, bathroom ok

Alarm downstairs went off twice at around midnight and rang for an hour. Reception was not reachable. Police only came after an hour. Could be a bit cleaner, windows were filthy and kitchen drawers had not been cleaned in a while

Everything was great. A few suggestions to make the stay even better: the pillows in the bedrooms could be a bit fluffier and it would be great if the curtain in the kids’ room could be bigger and darker so that the kids can sleep in the morning 😀

Location was perfect and the apartment was comfortable and well furnished, as seen in the photos. Comfortable beds and nice towels :)

For this price point we would have appreciated more varied kitchen and bathroom supplies (eg, hand soap, body lotion, selection of teas and coffee etc). The hot water heater should probably be checked (also the cleanliness and upkeep of the apartment after this long period of inoccupation).
