We booked this place because of the bears in the pictures and weren't disappointed. We were visited by a bear. However, this property could really use some work. This inside is dated, but clean and furnished adequately. But the outside is nearly unusable without some serious pest control. The furniture, grill and porch were covered in spider webs so big they had clearly been building them for a while. There were several spots with spider egg sacs. And the spiders themselves were huge. I understand we're in the woods but this seems like an easy enough fix with some preventive cleaning and spray between visitors. I've stayed in many different places in the area over the years and have never seen one quite like this

Loved sitting on the large back deck each morning and seeing mountains. Many rentals on the road but enough distance and trees that it felt private. Beds were comfortable, home is spacious and hot tub enjoyable. Great home for someone like my hubby who relies on a walker to get around. The owner was very gracious and helped when I left some jewelry behind. Couldn’t ask for a nicer host and we enjoyed being close by Pigeon Forge.

This is a great property with a gorgeous view. You are close to all of the shopping and amenities in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and still have the feeling of being secluded and surrounded by nature. It is a perfect location.

We booked a weekend stay in this home and wow! The convenient location AND great view were perfect for us. My mother was with us and this place is very accessible to have someone elderly with you! It has a hot tub and pool table for the kids, plenty of seating and the overall feel was just perfect! We got quick and easy communication from the homeowners. We will definitely be back again!!

House was a great location for a weekend of Dollywood and hiking in the smokies. Great layout, rooms were spacious and plenty of amenities. Nice deck with a view (including a family of bears that were in the neighborhood). Would definitely come back.

Great location near pigeon forge and gatliy. The road was a little windy but we laughed and had fun going up. The ride is worth the view. We loved sitting on the back patio with the amazing view. We even had a few visitors. Mama and her 3 bear's. I would rent this home again. We loved it 💕

Absolutely the nicest cabin in the entire Gatlinburg area. Loved the location and breathtaking views. Extremely close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Able to do all the activities in the area that we wanted to do. Will definitely return next year. Thank you for the best birthday vacation ever!

The home has a lot of potential. The location is perfectly situated in the mountains between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The view was amazing from the large back deck. The wall of windows along the living room and master bedroom were perfect to enjoy the view from inside of the home as well. The home is spacious with a lot of storage space for your personal items. The beds are comfortable. However, it is past due for a deep clean. Everything from eye level and below looked surface area clean. Several areas above eye level had layers of dust/grime, especially over the fire place. The HVAC fan quit working while we were there so the inside temperature got quite warm as the temperature went up. My husband has worked HVAC for over 25 years, so he inspected the unit to see if he could diagnose the problem. He was alarmed at how the unit had been hotwired. He described it in two words. Fire Hazard. Ironically, the battery to the smoke detector was dead so we had to unplug it while we were there. The lower water distributing arm to the dishwasher was missing so most of the dishes don't get clean. That would not have a big deal except I didn't run the dishwasher until the night before we were due to check out. I am not above old school hand-washing. However, hand washing a ton of dishes that didn't get clean the morning we are checking out made it more of an inconvenience. We still enjoyed ourselves and the location and view were beautiful as promised.

We had plumbing issues. The master toilet clogged and we called for help. We returned back to the house and were told it was repaired. We used it but it wasn’t repaired. So we were stuck living with a clogged toilet. There were multiple incorrect times given for the maintenance crew arrival. We ended up with 7 people sharing one bathroom. That toilet flushed very slowly as well but it did operate. We left the rental one day early due to our frustration with the situation.

We would buy this if it was for sale! The house was perfect for our family. It is one story, wonderful fenced in yard, big beautiful deck with awesome mountains everywhere, secluded road with just limited number of houses, and very close to everything. It is an older house with a great floor plan that fits our family perfect. The owners were great and we had a wonderful birthday trip. It is very high up and steep but after finding it the first time it was a dream! Large flat drive with a covered carport!!!

The home is beautiful. It is definitely a drive up a windy and curvy road, but well worth the drive. The home is just a described. Beautiful windows opening up to a gorgeous view. The pool table and arcade game was just an added bonus. All rooms seem to be updated except for the Jack and Jill bathroom. The double sinks are nice but the tub and shower doors could use an update. Hopefully they have fixed that toilet as well. It is really nice that there is a huge walk in area that has an extra refrigerator and the washer and dryer are located in there as well. We had a great time and we would definitely book this place again if we choose to have a family Thanksy in the Mountains!

We booked this property for a vacation for a family of 10. There were a lot of issues with the rental: Toilet handle was broken in guest bath that we tried to fix but then it just kept running, not enough blankets for all 10 people, hot tub was dirty/smelly and jets didnt work properly, dryer didnt work so couldnt do laundry or dry clothes, no gas for grill or fire pit, fireplace didnt work, broken boards on the deck, and there was garbage under and around some of the beds. When the property manager was made aware, he said someone would be out but no one came. While the view was nice and the kids enjoyed the pool table, the overall stay was disappointing and too uncomfortable for the price we paid. If you can book elsewhere, I highly recommend you do.

The house fit our needs perfectly….all one level with no steps to climb. Spacious rooms with lots of seating. Large bedrooms with big bathrooms and a walk in shower in the master bath which again fit our needs perfectly. A large walkout deck with lots of patio furniture and rocking chairs. Perfect location just 10-15 minutes south of pigeon forge. Close enough to be right in the mix of everything or far enough away to have some privacy……5 star great place

This is a great house in a nice location in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The House, carport and deck are all on the same level so it's great for people with mobility issues. There is a large fenced in yard for the furry one. It is usually very quiet since it's almost at the end of the road. We did see the 3 bears most of the days we were here.
You enter the house into the kitchen which flows into the dining area to the right and large open living room to the left. The 3 bedrooms are a spacious Master suite with ensuite bathroom and the 2 other bedrooms have a Queen and 2 Queens and share a J&J bathroom. On the deck you will find 2 rocking chairs, some nice patio seating a gas grill and a small hot tub.
This was our second stay here and highly recommend!

The home is the most conveniently located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! It is a great place to enjoy nature... bears (SEVEN different encounters on the mountain with 2 of those right at the house but the cutest was a mom and 2 cubs about halfway down the mountain), chipmunks, and beautiful views from the deck. The kitchen is nicely equipped! I always take some of my own pots and utensils but didnt need them here! Our family and furkids loved it and truly enjoyed our stay!

Our family really enjoyed. the house. Each night we got to see bears. The first night it was a mother bear with 3 cubs. The other 2 nights it was a big old boy. The house is nice and the view the deck is outstanding! We plan to stay here again.

This place was perfect. Clean, beautifully decorated, fully equipped, outstanding views......I could go on and on. And the beds were so comfortable. I would love to know the name of the mattress on King bed. We loved our stay and hated so bad that we couldn't stay longer.

Very nice property, great communication, the perfect for our fur babies. Fenced in yard was wonderful and a huge bonus. The views were great when the fog lifted. The last half mile to the cabin is very steep and winding. Would stay again.

The property photos don't do this place justice. It is stunning! May caution about the narrow and steep road to access especially in icy weather but its definitely worth the climb! Excellent host.

We had a great time vacationing here. The property was clean and very spacious. The owners had it decorated for Christmas and even allowed us to bring our fur baby with us. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a four course meal.
As luck would have it, our vacation did coincide with the strong winter storm that occurred in December. Unfortunately, we did end up getting stuck at the end of the mountain because the road leading to the cabin had too much snow and ice to safely travel (we weren’t the only ones—there were lots of vehicles parked beside us). Fortunately, the cabin is only a half mile from the road so we were able to walk up and down the mountain to our van. It did not stop us from going and enjoying the sites, shopping, and shows. Even having to walk up and down steep hills covered in snow and ice, we all had a great time & would do it again!! We finally got the white Christmas we wanted!

We arrived Friday night and I lost the instructions with the door and alarm codes but the owner responded quickly with the info. It was dark so we couldn’t see the view on the way up, and from the deck we could only see the skyline in the distance. We relaxed in the hot tub and it sure helped after a long day in the car! The chalet was more beautiful than described in the listing! It was clean, roomy and everything you could think of was in the stocked kitchen! Yesterday morning we watched the sunrise from the deck, it was breathtaking and we also saw 6 bears. Three larger ones and three smaller ones, two of the larger ones were playing on top of the hot tub cover of the neighbor across the way! They came across the street to our driveway and went up the hill right outside the door! When we ventured out we were in awe of the drive up and down the mountain! The drive up was steep so I suggest to plan accordingly. It was a perfect stay and we thank you for sharing your chalet with us!

This was by far our favorite place we have stayed in smokies. The location is perfect for going to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. The fenced in yard was a huge bonus for us and our pups. The house was very spacious with beautiful views out the windows and from the deck. We got to see bears every day at the house and on the road up to the house. We hope to book this one on return trips. It was perfect for us!
