The Space

Located in a private building on a quiet residential street a spacious open plan kitchen and living room welcomes you. There's a good sized double bedroom that sleeps 2 and a posh leather sofa bed that also sleeps 2.

There's an up to date kitchen diner that comfortably accommodates 4 people around it. All the usual kitchen stuff, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster and plenty of plates and cutlery - with tea, coffee, milk provided. There is also a washing machine and dryer.

The bathroom is recently refurbished and modern with a large bath and shower with lots of fluffy towels and shampoo and soap provided.

There is also a fantastic, professionally designed garden perfect for sitting with a glass of wine and chilling out - but please no parties!! The neighbours will not be happy!

Guest Access

There's a smart TV and stereo with iPod dock in the living area but please no partying after midnight - I'd like to stay friends with the neighbours! And there's hundreds of art, design and sports books for you peruse.

There's free, reliable, high speed Wi-Fi.

I'll supply lovely Egyptian cotton sheets and as much bedding as you require. And in the bathroom there's complimentary soap, shampoo and conditioner, and fluffy bath towels.

The Neighbourhood

Set in a quiet residential street just a minutes walk around the corner from Camden's bustling market, bars and restaurants. Full of stalls and vintage shops you can easily lose a day here.
Famous Camden occupants have included Charles Dickens, Dylan Thomas, Alan Bennett, Amy Winehouse, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin. Not far is Hampstead Heath (take the overground at Camden Road station), 790 acres of parkland with 3 open air swimming areas. Regents Park and Primrose Hill offer amazing panoramic views of London - only a walk away.

Getting Around

Transport links are excellent. 2 minutes to Camden tube (Northern Line). 1 minute to Camden Road overground which takes you places like Hampstead (for the Heath) and Stratford with it's huge Westfield shopping centre. Numerous buses to the West End (Oxford Circus is 15 minutes on the C2). And there's also a nice walk down the canal to Kings Cross that will take you 20 minutes. You are never more than 30 minutes from any of the popular tourist destinations.

Fantastic location, close to all transport. Very quiet at night, no trouble sleeping, and as I live in an area with no traffic noise this was great. Comfy bed Excellent facilities

The Camden house was a great home base for our 10 days in London. The double bed was very comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking supper every night. The grocery stores were nearby as well as the tube and bus stations. The house could have been cleaner around the edges, but in general it was fine. Camden is definitely an interesting neighborhood filled with many people, and we felt safe during our stay. Also, the house is very quiet considering that is so near the hub of activity. Thanks Lloyd!!

This apartment is roomy and perfect for a week long vacation in London. The living room area is ample and comfortable. I personally loved the rock n' roll vibe of the decor. The kitchen comes equipped with everything you need for your stay, if you want to stay in and cook you can. All the utensils, plates and implements are there to make a meal. The bedroom is roomy and has a comfortable bed and leads out to garden area. The bathroom is roomy and has a nice big tub, which is great to soak in at the end of full day of exploring London. There is a washer and dryer which is great so you can go home with clothes that are ready to unpack and put away. The apartment smelled clean and was clean. Neighborhood was quirky in a good way. There are lots of great places to eat, more than you can get to in a one week visit. The tube and bus stop are VERY nearby and they connect to every area within London and both can connect you to the Euston station, which connects you to the national rail system. The owner, Lloyd was very responsive and was super flexible with arrival and departure time. I recommend this flat if you are headed into London. I would definitely rent here again for a future visit.

We loved being able to cook our own mesls and wash & dry our clothes! It’s the simple things that make a stay relaxing and enjoyable. Location was excellent, caught buses everywhere as this is my preference. Owner Lloyd was fabulous to deal with & we were able to get into our flat early which was great.

We had a great stay at this property; enough room for a family of 4 and all the amenities we needed. Perfect base to explore London and thriving Camden Town. Great local pubs to have an afternoon pint. Lloyd was a perfect host communication was easy & we appreciated the earlier check in after a very long flight.

I stayed for a full month. Easy access to a huge grocery store and plenty of bus stops and tube station. The flat was fully equiped with everything you need you "live" there, including a washer and dryer (a lot of places only have a washer but no dryer). About the only thing I would suggest as room for improvement would be the bedding. The bed and pillows are hard and lumpy and probably should be replaced. The linens and what not were fine.

Location is superb. Off the main road so it’s not noisy from foot or vehicular traffic but so close to every where you want to go in Camden. Camden Town tube is a half kilometer away. Lots of restaurants, grocery stores and shops at your fingertips. The flat itself is fantastic. Nicely arranged, and the rooms are ample. Very good security as there is a locked gate to access the building. The flat has all of the amenities needed for both short term and long term stays. Communication with the owner was excellent. I was, in fact, moving to London and the owner provided sound advice for all of my queries and pointed me to resources to explore further. Highly recommend!

Lloyd’s apartment is a sweet spot in a great location. Camden town is such a fun and vibrant neighborhood and it’s a short walk to so many transportation options. Really enjoyed our stay here!

Very well suited for accessing many forms of public transit. We took the tube, Overground trains and buses. We especially liked the convenient 29 bus, direct to Trafalgar Square. Unit was well equipped. Camden is a lively neighbourhood, with lots of energy, restaurants, etc. Would recommend Lloyd's place.

Happy that the flat is walking distance to Camden market, the location is close to the bus stop and the underground/overground train station. Lloyd is a great host, easy to communicate and answers your questions right away. I highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone.

We arrived in Camden a couple of hours before the 4pm check in. Lloyd said he would let us know if the property would be ready before then and he was as good as his word. First impressions were great; the apartment looked better than the photos. Good size living/kitchen area, the bedroom was comfortable with access to the garden. The weather was incredibly hot, so having the space to come back and relax after a day out was fantastic. The location is perfect; 10 mins to the centre of Camden, but it's quiet after dark. We will be returning as soon as we can. Need do some exploring without our daughter.

Lloyd's place was fantastic and in a great location for us! We loved the Camden Town area and we were sad to leave. His place was very comfortable for the two of us and our son. The washer/dryer was a big plus as we were at the end of our trip and needed to do laundry. Super convenient to both an overground and underground station and an easy walk along the canal to Camden Market. Plus, tons of restaurants and grocery within easy walking distance. Started to feel like home after our 7 days there. Thanks Lloyd!

The flat has a very hip vibe and was in a superb location, close to everything, clean, well stocked and comfortable. Had a wonderful stay in this comfy, clean, modern apartment tucked away in the heart of it all. My son and I enjoyed a restful, safe, comfortable 2 night stay. Clean, comfy towels and linens- really felt spoiled. We went to the Camden Market, took in the bustling nightlife and had dinner at one of a billion places nearby, even did a load of laundry. Spent quality time with my son in this safe, chic apartment- in the heart of it all, this apartment is a warm, welcoming, well appointed gem.

The CD collection is impressive, the flat is clean and it is located close to all the action of Camden, but tucked away so that it is quiet enough to rest. Great place to stay and the host is very responsive.

We recently spent a week in Lloyds apartment and loved every minute of it. On arrival it was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities that you would need for a week stay. We found the apartment warm and comfortable with lots of extra bedding and towels available. The washing machine and dryer were an added bonus. As was the tea, coffee and other bits for us to use in the kitchen cupboards. Lloyd left lots of local travel books if you wished to explore London. It was ideally situated enabling us to walk to Camden Town within minutes or even into central London in about 45 minutes if you didn’t want to use any of the local transport available which is also on the doorstep. Would highly recommend this apartment for anyone wishing to visit the area. We will definitely be booking up again.

My husband and I highly enjoyed our stay. The location was great, within a short walk of the Camden Town tube station. I would highly recommend it for researchers who plan to visit the British Library. The bedroom faces a small courtyard garden and so is very quiet.

Stayed with my husband and 9 yr old daughter over Christmas. We arrived to late in the evening to hit a grocery store, but there were all the food basics waiting for us (as well as a little Christmas tree)! The flat is so close to the tube station, so we were able to easily get anywhere we needed to go quickly and easily. Many great pubs and restaurants were in walking distance. Lloyd gave us some great recommendations, and was available to answer any of our questions. I highly recommend this flat for your London holiday!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lloyd’s place - so much so that we even extended our stay for 5 extra days! Kitchen came stocked with a great selection of items (including milk, orange juice and bread when we first arrived) and bathroom was really clean. The property is located just by the train station off the main road but we were never disturbed by noises or anything! Would definitely recommend!

Neat and quiet apartment close to the hustle bustle of Camden Town and Market, close to any public transportation, big supermarket and lovely pubs around the corner. Restaurants and Camden Market close by, so much to explore. Easy and prompt communication with the owner. All you need is in the apartment (kitchen well equipped, fresh breakfast, washer, and even dryer, yeah!). We and our two teen kids enjoyed the time very much and will come back if the occasion arises. Thanks, Lloyd.

We stayed here for a number of weeks and it was a great choice. The flat has everything you'd need to be self sufficient, the location is fabulous - quiet neighbours and peaceful, but also close to Camden Town and the underground. The landlord was really helpful and easy-going. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend the flat.

The apartment is well located and serviceable enough. However, it did not come with functioning wi-fi, despite the site's description. The owner insisted that the problem was out of his hands, claiming that there was an infrastructure failure on the street and telling us that we could accordingly leave the apartment if we wanted, which was not a very practical suggestion in the middle of our busy vacation. At one point, he did offer us a subscription to a different wi-fi service, but the password never worked.

We absolutely loved our time in Lloyd's flat. The location can't be beat if you want to be close to all of the cool happenings of Camden Town. Tons of great restaurants and shopping within an easy walk and the bus and tube are also very close by. Lloyd was kind enough to stock some breakfast essentials like coffee, tea, milk, orange juice, butter and bread prior to our arrival which was a really nice gesture. The Sainsburys is a quick 5 minute walk for groceries as well. Additionally he was kind enough to allow us to arrive early since we had just come off of an international flight. We cooked breakfast in every day and had everything we needed to cook with. I stayed with my college aged son and daughter and we used the pull out sofa bed as well. It was the perfect space for the 3 of us. Lloyd always responded to my messages with questions within minutes it seemed which was great. Also having not just the washing machine but also a clothes dryer (rare in England) was very nice and we could do some laundry before heading off to our next travel spot. We would absolutely stay here again!
