Close to extended family. Close to lake. Lots of amenities. Big yard. Charming house we all enjoyed.

We loved staying here and will likely come back!
The house is wonderful, comfie beds and well-stocked kitchen, the lake is fabulous, not too crowded and very clean. The kayaks were super fun to be able to use.
Washing the sheets and towels before check out is a drag but we managed it and still want to come back so there you go! Owners were easy to communicate with.

This was our second stay at this property in North Sutton, NH. From the proximity to Wadleigh State Park and Keyser Lake to the fire pit for warm nights or gas fireplace for chilly nights this is a great vacation spot. The house is charming and well appointed with a contemporary kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. Planning another vacation there next year!

This place has everything to host 2 families. My family and my sister family stayed and went to Mount sunapee for snowboarding. Kitchen has everything, lost space to eat, lots to lounge, foosball and ping pong to entertain.

This was the second women’s retreat I have hosted at this perfect cottage. It is spacious, cozy, has everything you could need in the kitchen, and just a really lovely energy. Patti is easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back!

This beautifully appointed, impeccably clean, vacation home was perfect for our visit to the region for a family reunion. We ranged from grandparents, to adult children to grandchildren (3 yo and 6 mo). The house was perfectly equipped to accommodate young children, with safety features, games and toys. The 3 yo especially was thrilled that a child's chair was included in the fire pit circle. With a grocery store available close by in New London, our stay was made very easy. We would definitely stay there again.

This property was very nice and very private. We enjoyed using the home, yard and nearby Lake. The water was close by but we did have to cross a main road to get there and I would say its about a half a mile walk. The lake was beautiful. We swam at the beach and used the boat launch for kayaking and our fishing boat. The home and yard were very comfortable and relaxing. The hosts were amazing to work with, always responded quickly when we had a question. We would definitely consider going back here.

This house is perfect for kids and families. The game room on the second floor is perfect for kids of all ages. The kitchen had everything we needed and we spent our time by the fire pit and sitting on the porch. The lawn and neighborhood are perfect for playing outside. We rode bikes to the nearby state park but with little kids (under 6) we needed to drive to the state park with our stuff for the day. Sunapee is a beautiful 20 min drive away and worth it for the larger beach and playground on site. There is also a playground less than 2 miles away at the local elementary school. The only hard part with little kids was the laundering of the sheets (wash and dry before checkout) so we brought our own sheets and bedding to help with this. Renters also need to bring their trash and recycling to a transfer station about 10 minutes away. This was tricky due to the hours of the trash transfer station and we needed a sticker. We did mention it to the owners and they were more than willing to help and check on it. The communication with the owners was excellent and they were very helpful. They do provide chairs, bikes and kayaks which we didn’t use but it was nice to know they were there. Overall great house and would book again. Very relaxing, quiet, and remote area to appreciate the beauty of New Hampshire.

We had a terrific stay at this wonderfully kept and updated craftsman cottage. The owners were incredibly responsive and always there for us if we needed anything prior or during our stay. Cozy, communal and perfect for our stay during the final winter time. But you can see it would be a tremendous location in all the other outdoor seasons as well. Close to New London, for shops, food and dining. A great stay. We’ll return!

What a lovely getaway! The home was perfect and so close to Sunapee Resort. We can’t wait to return!

Well maintained home with lots of room for everyone and all conveniences supplied. We rented for 2 nights to spend 2 days skiing at Sunapee Mtn. The gas fireplace and pool table were a nice bonus! Linens are provided but owner does require renters to launder anything used, so be prepared to bring your own if you don't want to be bothered with that. Owners were very responsive to all questions.

Rented the place for the weekend to snowboard at Sunappee and spend time with family. The accommodations were perfect with plenty of space to spread out for both adults and kids.

It felt like having our own Craftsman-style vacation house. Beautiful architecture, lovingly cared for. Furniture was comfortable, kitchen was well-appointed, the king-sized bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. Gas fireplace was a welcome feature during this chilly weather. Upstairs area with ping pong table was a fun diversion. TV setup was a bit confusing (many remotes, no clear directions), but that could likely be more about our lack of technical skills, not a fault of the house. Also, a really lovely front porch, and a hammock out back that I will certainly use during a future rental. The owners were very easy to communicate with, really lovely people and a pleasure to deal with.
Overall, one of the most pleasant, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing rentals we have experienced. Also, very quiet and private. Exactly what we were looking for.

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful two-week getaway at this charming and well-maintained property just steps away from a pristine glacial lake. The home itself is older, but it is a jewel. It's been well-maintained and updated with all the modern conveniences one could ask for (great windows, fully-stocked kitchen, roomy closets, ceiling fans in every room, comfy beds, etc.). Decor is in a casual Arts and Crafts style. We were usually at capacity with family and friends visiting, yet it never felt cramped. The wonderful front porch was often occupied, whether for a morning cup of coffee, reading, or catching the call of the loons down at the lake. New London was just up the road ~ coffee shops, farmstand, shops, and a Hanaford's. The owners, Chris and Patricia were always available, and were quick to respond to answer any and all questions. Because checkout requires the laundering of bedlinens and towels, we extended our stay to a Monday so as not to interfere with our last day of guests on Sunday ~ it worked out well for us.

We had a group of 4 adults and 2 children (under 12). The house was beautiful and had a ton of space for all of us. Charming older house and we loved the architecture. Easy access to the lake and got plenty of use out of the floats and the canoe in the shed! Always a plus to have a grill and a fire pit for smores too!

We had a great weekend. The house was beautiful and relaxing. The house was very cool and comfortable even though it was over 95 degrees outside. Thank you Patty & Chris!

The property was as described in the listing. The kitchen was efficient and well equipped with all appliances in good working order. There was also a propane grill for an additional cooking option.
The beds were clean and comfortable but the laundry demands were difficult as sheets and towels had to be laundered on the last morning.
The State Beach, which is within walking distance, was exceptional for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. We found a week long pass, which can be purchased online, to be the best value.
The owner was available by phone and obviously interested in doing all he could to make our stay comfortable, safe, fun and relaxing. We had an amazing week!

The property was in a beautiful setting and meticulously well maintained. Everything was as listed and accommodated all members of our family, ages 8-79. If needed, the owners were available to answer any of our questions. They followed up during our stay to make sure everything was OK. An easy and enjoyable experience!

I rented this beautiful home for a small yoga retreat. There was more than enough space for 7 of us. The home was beautiful and had everything we needed. A short walk over to a very peaceful lake. Patti and Chris were wonderful and responded quickly to ever call or text. I expect to stay here again in the future. Absolutely perfect!

House is as described, well appointed, fun games including ping pong, foosball table, open yard with outdoor fire place, warm and inviting gas fireplace, walkable to kids playground and lakeside trail. On arrival, key padded door entry made for easy check-in, but we had to make the beds (sheets, pillowcases and all). Cleanliness above average. Gas fireplace pilot light was out and radiant heat was slow to work, but Chris was very prompt and helpful. We were able to get the fireplace working right away and heating technician came next morning and made adjustments to fix the heat. Downside is the check out process, which is unprecedented in our 10 yrs of renting through vrbo/airBnB. The instructions were sent to us before our arrival. Check out instructions lengthy, including removing all trash off the premises to local dump, stripping beds, laundering and drying and folding sheets, washing/drying/putting away all dishes, washing/drying/folding towels. Cleaning fee of $200 seems unfair given this time consuming check out process, which is a total challenge with 3 kids (8,6,3 years old even as well behaved as they are). Could not take shower in morning because of need to wash and dry towels. Would totally rent again, if and only if the check out were easier. Chris was prompt about addressing heat and fireplace, but no response when I texted him about the oddity of the check out process. Great rental, but checkout process soured the experience

A nice walk to the lake.
Well equipped and lots of space.

We traveled to New Hampshire in early September to drop off our son for his freshmen year of college and our daughter for her sophomore year. There were 4 days in between drop off so Chris and Patti’s craftsman home was a perfect in between waiting place. On our first day we walked around beautiful Kezar lake and met locals who invited us to an auction and free lunch. Later on we took the canoe out on Kezar lake and paddled to Loon Island. We used the front porch to sit at the picnic table and do a little work. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was great to cook in. Overall, our trip was fabulous!

My family and I were finally able to get together for the first time in almost two years and could not have picked a better location and property! Chris was great and available to answer any questions we had along the way. Hoping to make this an annual trip:)

Beautiful home, extremely clean and updated amenities. Pictures online didn’t do it justice. Very spacious with an amazing upstairs space with something for all age groups. Our family truly enjoyed our short stay!

We were at this lovely vacation bungalow cabin in Sutton for the weekend. It had everything from a lovely setting, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy, open living space to fun games and walking trails all around the property. We skied one day and just enjoyed our surroundings the next. A perfect getaway...

This old house gives you a sense of comfort and coziness. We went for a long weekend ski trip. Great location between Sunapee Ski Resort and Ragged Mt. (25 min) Cute, quiet neighborhood. The house has everything you might need! Excellent for families with tweens, the play room on the second floor is perfect! Clean and comfortable. Big kitchen and dining area. Best part (in the winter) was the fire place! After a long day of skiing, relaxing by the fire was awsome. The owners were wonderful and available for any questions we had before, during and at check out.

The house exceeded our expectations and we had a great weekend.

The home is large and beautiful with space inside and out for family to spend time together. We, unfortunately, arrived to a very dusty home. The baseboards, staircase and some surfaces were covered in dust and we had to clean at the start of our stay. Once we were settled in, we enjoyed the week at the lake and while I uncovered dirty and dusty spots along the way (outside chair cushions had bugs under them, a random lime from the previous renters was on the ground and we had to empty the vacuum from the previous cleaning) we did our best to make the most of our vacation. I was, however, very disappointed when I finally read the check out process. It was lengthy and involved us doing much more than I am used to when renting a home. When you couple that with an increase on the cleaning fee my husband and I were both annoyed. We lost an entire day of vacation just completing the check out process. The tasks included were; washing, drying, folding, and putting away all sheets and towels. Cleaning all dishes and putting them away, vacuuming and sweeping floors, and taking all of the trash and recycling with us. With two small children, this was added stress that I would have rather avoided on my vacation.

We had an amazing time in this beautiful home earlier this summer. It was spacious, clean, and a walk away from a beautiful lake.

Loved the place , neat and clean. Great for big a big family or group (10). The only thing is trying to all sheets and towels washed and dried in time to check out is challenging Would highly recommend this house

Perfect home for a family celebration. The house is kid friendly and has lots of thoughtful fun toys for small children. The house has a comfortable feel and we loved sitting out on the porch, especially when it rained! The kitchen is well stocked and everything needed ( and more) was there. Chris and Patricia were responsive. The lake and state park was our home away from home! Thank you for a lovely stay!
We’ve been using the Air B and B as well as VRBO for several years, typically two times a year from California to Florida, Colorado, and New Hampshire. This has been the best place for our family yet.
Look forward to staying there again.
