Follansbee Inn was a wonderful place to stay, staff was so awesome, Inn was very clean and a perfect place to unwind and relax. The breakfast each morning was 5 star quality.

My husband and I like everything about this property. It's a unique, beautifully-decorated inn. Clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfasts served in a breathtaking dining room. Within walking distance to beautiful Kezar Lake. We've spent weekends here three years in a row, and hope to continue the tradition.

It was lovely and the breakfast delicious! Elegant dining room and loaded with antique charm. I was treated to the prettiest snowfall of the year- perfect place to be for it!

The quintessential New England inn. A lovely, well-maintained, old inn. Everything, from the country setting to the gracious hosts make this an excellent choice for a restful stay.

Wonderful Inn! Amazing breakfast served by the host Dennis. Beautiful surrounding and quaint village. Right by Kezer lake and use of canoe or kayak as you wish. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Very nice place

We stayed at the Follansbee Inn for 2 nights for a wedding in the area, and our stay was just perfect! I love the common areas of the Inn, and we were made to feel comfortable the entire time. The breakfasts were outstanding as well - you certainly won't leave hungry! We didn't have time to enjoy the outdoor area, but there is a nice beach with canoes/kayaks to use as well. I would definitely recommend a stay at The Follansbee Inn!

It was very quaint and breakfast was excellent.

If you enjoy antique inns located on a lake with excellent breakfasts and no interaction with the innkeeper, then you'll love this inn. We stayed on the third floor (no elevator) in the Rylee Rose room, which faced the lake. The view of the lake from this corner room was terrific, plus it included an alcove with a comfortable loveseat, which was great for reading when the weather didn't cooperate. The bathroom was very small, with just enough room for a sink, toilet, and bathtub. The breakfasts at this inn were delicious, which included fresh-squeezed orange juice and cold cider, yogurt, homemade granola, assorted cereals, assorted coffees and teas, along with a hot entrée and fruit. The innkeeper is also the chef, so the only time he was observed was during breakfast as he brought out food. We enjoyed relaxing by the lake enjoying the loons, along with walking around the lake. The inn provide kayaks and bicycles, which is a nice ammenity. Note: There're NO TVs at this inn, so if you can't live without it bring your devices. Also, if you're handicapped or allergic to dogs, don't stay here because two dogs reside here and roam the inside and outside areas (very friendly), plus there's no elevator and LOTS of narrow stairs (all rooms are on the second and third floors).

It’s always a lovely escape. Limited media makes it perfect. Innkeeper is exceptional and even with limited staff was able to deliver an amazing family weekend. Thank you.

Charming place! Lake with dock and kayaks, canoes and fresh lake swimming, lots of chairs nicely spaced. Bikes and paddle boards in barn free to use. Hiking nearby. Scrumptious generous breakfast in large but intimate dining room lovely plates! Room was impeccably clean and roomy with window a/c I didn’t need. Windows screened opened and evening air pleasant. Quiet as can be. No negatives - lovely place and I’ll go back!

Magic place!

Beautiful inn, wonderful setting, and breakfasts that were truly amazing (the owner is from Louisiana and the breakfasts reflected that). The room and room details were "white glove" clean. The owner made guests feel welcome and comfortable. I traveled solo but this would be a tremendous location for a family reunion or other group gathering (mindful of COVID restrictions). Each room was decorated differently with antique furniture and fixings. An absolute gem.

Beautiful setting next to the lake. Lots of amenities. Very clean. Wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of it all.

Loved the freedom of using the kayaks, canoes, bikes and outside area. Did a lot of swimming, three mile hike around the lake can’t be missed. And a belly rub for angel the dog who is quite and not visible often. Bed is comfortable and linings are top end!

Denis is very pleasant to work with. Rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. We will be back.

Follansbee Inn is absolutely beautiful with New England charm throughout. I would highly recommend it to anyone coming to this area .

Wonderful lakeside location in a rustic area. Yet close to the Interstate. We did not need handicap access, but noted its absence.

Breakfast was good and everyone staying there seemed to really enjoy themselves. I was very envious of the rooms we saw in the second floor that had wifi, lake views, and comfortable blankets. Our bed was as hard as a rock, the blankets consisted of two firm coverlets, the pillows were hard and on the third floor we didn't have wifi in our rooms. I think had we had a more comfortable bed, my review would look like everyone else's.
