About this house rental
You have the opportunity to rent a charming A-frame chalet.with hardwood floor in the living room and dining room, heated floors in bathrooms and kitchen, gas stove.
The house is on three levels. The first floor has the kitchen and dining area, a half bathroom, and the master bedroom with a full bathroom. The kitchen features gas stove, two ovens, microwave, refrigerator, dish washer, coffee machine, cookware, and plates and glasses for eight. The master bedroom has a king size bed, walk-in closet, and a bathroom with bidet and jet tub.
The second floor has a large living room, two bedrooms and a full bath. The living room has the A-frame double height ceiling, thermostat controlled gas fireplace, a wall of windows and a balcony overlooking trees on the side of mount Baldy, a wet bar, and access to the deck with the hot tub. The first bedroom has 2 twin size beds and direct access to the deck while the second bedroom has a queen bed. The bathroom has bidet and a large steam shower.
Finally, the loft has a bedroom with queen bed and a bathroom with shower.

Having a hot tub was perfect for after a day of skiing. Our married daughter stayed in the loft area which was great. Plenty of room for the rest of the young adult and teenage children.

This property was perfect for our group. The 3 levels worked great for the 3 different families we had and allowed for each group to have privacy. Loved how many bathrooms there were and the hot tub was a hit. Close to downtown ketchum and easy to find. Owners responded quickly each time I communicated with them. We wouos rent this property again!

Property management is slow to respond. We had no Hot tub key and no help getting into the tub. Hot tub humming throughout the house all night so bring your earbuds. spent two hours on the phone with Vrbo just trying to get a key to the hot tub.

Living room is smaller than appears in photos, but comfy. The hot tub was mostly working, but some of the jets weren’t working. The house only has one TV, but no one comes to SV to watch TV. Just a heads up.
Location was convenient. But, not ideal for the shuttle stops. The shuttle stops are just off the property, but scaling a hill to the road was a challenge for kids with gear.
Communication with the owner before and after booking proved to be fruitless. Multiple emails went unanswered. The local individual that maintains the house was VERY responsive.

Beautiful house, spacious rooms, great bathrooms, nice kitchen and wares. We enjoyed it very much.
It needs ceiling fans in the attic and in the living room.
Needs 3 baby gates at the stairs for families with children.
The shades for the patio door should be vertical blinds. The ones they have are horizontal shades and are broken.
It needs a heat exhaust in the kitchen.
A canopy over the deck would be nice to be able to seat and relax there.
We loved the location, closed to every thing.

We got this house for a sibling weekend reunion and we all loved staying here. It was close enough to town for convenience and far enough out for privacy. Great little neighborhood. very comfortable for all of us and more then enough room.

Great location. Cute house for a big group
We had a group of friends meet up for my husbands 30th birthday here. The place was beautiful and close to the mountain and downtown. Great rooms and bathrooms and kitchen space for a big group! The cons were the hot tub wasn’t working and the host never got back to us on how to get it to work or if it was just broken. Also, it took some searching to find the Wi-Fi password. Some bricks from the fireplace kept falling out while we were staying there as well. All in all it was a beautiful house and we would stay there again

PERFECT!!
My husband and I stayed at this house with his parents and our children (5 and 8) while we were in town for a wedding. We weren't at the house much - eat, change clothes and sleep, but the accommodations were perfect for us!

Perfect House for a large family
We came to Ketchum for a wedding in June and this house was perfect. The location was wonderful for all the events and the house fit our family perfectly. The Master is located downstairs, where the kitchen and large dining room table are. There are 2 bedrooms on the second level, one with a queen bed and one room with 2 twin beds. These bedroom share a wonderful bathroom with a fabulous shower that has an overhead spray and is so big and roomy! We LOVED it. The fireplace and den are also on this level with a wet bar and wine refrig! The 3rd floor has a spiral staircase leading up to a sitting area, a bathroom and another bedroom with a queen bed. The laundry is located in the garage. Out on the deck was the hot tub and seating for enjoying the beautiful view of Bald Mountain.
The kitchen was stocked with everything you could ask for and all high end appliances including an espresso machine and coffee maker. This house was one of the best finds on VRBO I have ver rented. Thnak you so much for a wonderful stay and sharing your beautiful home!

The best!
We love this house. This was our third year staying at the house with a group of friends. The house is comfortable and spacious. It is well stocked and the hot tub is clean and functioning. The owners are easy to work with and quick to respond. Thanks for another great visit.

The property is located in a quiet neighborhood providing convenient access to Ketchum. Pathways are nearby. Clean nice property. Hot tub was nicely maintained and nice to soak in after an active day. Kitchen was supplied with all the necessary cooking needs. The entire house is well maintained and very comfortable. Great place to crash after an active day in Sun Valley area. We will return to use it again.

Nearly Just Like Home!
We've rented several vacation homes in the USA and in Europe. This house is the best so far. We were in town for the solar eclipse. Just 5 minutes drive away from the town, excellent mountain bike shops, and great restaurants (Sawtooth Club, A Taste of Thai, fantastic burritos at KB's, local ice cream at Leroy's). The house is inviting with very good quality finishes, very good quality fixtures, comfortable, solid furnishings, and very good quality amenities. Everything inside and out works. The owners clearly care that their guests' stay was as comfortable as possible. The kitchen had excellent knives (just like mine at home!), excellent flatware, and more than enough high quality plates, bowls, wine goblets, and tumblers for our extended family of 7. The kitchen was also helpfully stocked with dishwasher detergent, dish soap, sponges and brushes, and garbage bags. The bathrooms had plenty of good towels, large bottles of serviceable shampoo and body soap. The house had good spa towels, too. Really liked the large square table for 8 that encouraged conversation, the very comfortable wing chairs and couch in the living room. The neighborhood was packed with travelers for the eclipse, but it was as quiet as my neighborhood and home! Loved it!
The only caveats are few:
- the mattresses could be better;
- with 3 1/2 bathrooms, a blow dryer in each full bathroom would be helpful;
- the house was very clean, except that the bathroom ceiling fans had a thick layer of dust;
- the bedrooms could use decoration, maybe a painting above the bed.
But this is quibbling, as the house is the best we've rented so far. Most vacation rentals don't have the quality clearly evident in this house, from the fixtures and furniture to the forks and teaspoons.
