About this house rental

4813 Starboard was built in 2008. The house is fabulous and would make a great vacation get-a-way to coincide with your Notre Dame activity. It is a contemporary version of the Craftsman style with an “open” plan that lends itself perfectly to entertaining. There are 2500 square feet on the main level and approximately 2000 square feet on the finished walk-out lower level. Main level features include a luxurious Master suite, 2 guest bedrooms joined by a Jack and Jill bathroom, a powder room, laundry, hardwood flooring, high ceilings, fireplace, gourmet kitchen, and much more. There are great indoor and outdoor spaces for entertaining and relaxing including a large open deck and a cozy screened porch. There is a covered patio on grade off the lower level family room, and a patio with a fire pit next to the beach. The views are lovely and there is usually a pleasant breeze off the Lake. Please note that this is not a swimming lake. The lower level features walk-out access to the back yard and lake, a large family room, 2 bedrooms, an additional sleeping area, a recreation area, and another full bath.

There are 2 large flat-screen TVs (55' and 47') and a 22' flat screen in the kitchen. Netflix and Hulu are available. There is WiFi internet access provided as well.

1. King-size bed in the master
2. 2 main floor guest bedrooms with Queen sized beds
3. 4th lower level guest bedrooms with 2 full-sized double beds
4. 5th lower level offset bedroom area with King-size bed

We had an amazing stay at Joseph’s house for graduation. Lots of room for our big group to spread out, all essentials were provided, great communication and just an absolutely beautiful location. We enjoyed the hot tub and the deck overlooking the lake so much. Towels and linens were great quality and everyone slept comfortably in all the beds. This perfect house and absolutely beautiful weather made graduation weekend extra special!!

We went to South Bend for the game va Ohio State! This house exceeded our expectations in every way and we definitely got more bang for our buck! The only regret we have is that we didn’t have more time to enjoy the home. The owner had great communication and was a great sport when one of travelers left Buckeye nuts around the house. Great weekend making amazing memories.

This lake home and our experience there was fantastic! We had family and friends (including us) flying in to attend a Notre Dame football game and this was the perfect place to meet for dinner following the game. The kitchen is well equipped and there’s plenty of seating overlooking the beautiful lake. The home was new and clean and the owner very friendly and gracious. We will definitely return!

I wish I could live in this rental. It was amazing! It got everyone comfortably, the layout was amazing. We all had a blast and hope to return should we come back to the area.

We loved our stay!! Perfect for the family to gather and celebrate our ND graduate! Location 18 minutes from campus, plus close to the highway, a Meijer and a couple of gas stations. House was well laid out with plenty of room, but our favorite spot was the outdoor deck!

Exceptionally clean. Very functional and comfortable both inside and outside. Enjoyed an evening around the fire pit reconnecting with college friends. Close to good golf courses.

The house was perfect for my extended family. Plenty of room and beds to accommodate everyone. The home is located on a small lake with relaxing views. The home was everything we needed. We will rent it again for a large ND reunion football game.

I definitely recommend this home! Our son got married at the Morris Estates in Niles Michigan. This home provided the perfect location for us, the grandparents and some extended family to stay for the weekend. Spacious and very quiet with ample room for family and friends to occasionally gather and pay their respects as they arrived in the area. Relatives from Maryland and England were coming here for the wedding and it was so fantastic to be able to get together for happy hellos in a home and not a hotel!The owner has taken such care in making sure his guests are comfortable. The house is beautiful , well cared for and practically perfect in every way. The house layout is well thought out as well. Three bedrooms and bathrooms on the main floor along with ample seating and an open kitchen allowed the grandparents to feel like they were hosting everyone in their own homes. There are even 2 porches to choose from for morning coffee! It was peaceful and quiet and the lake is an added bonus - very serene!Although we don’t anticipate another wedding in the area anytime soon, I definitely would choose to stay here again! The owner was so thoughtful and even sent his best wishes to us on the wedding day. We had a fantastic time and made many wonderful memories. Thank you Joe; you have a wonderful home and we wish you all the best!

Amazing home on beautiful lake. Excellent layout, perfect for extended families. Master bedroom and bathroom is huge opening to porch overlooking lake. Kitchen has everything you need. Owner is great to work with. Very convenient to Notre Dame.

We stayed here with a few families for an ND football game - great space for a large crew with plenty of beds, close enough drive to campus in a very nice neighborhood. Kids loved the basement ping pong and foosball. Was a cold weekend so didn't take advantage of the fishing/paddleboat/fire pit but those would be fun. Joe was very organized and responsive, big thumbs up!
