We invite you to be our guests in our remodeled and upgraded condo studio. ** Hawaii Tax I.D. TA 146881126401 & GE 146881126401**.
We are located on the western shores of Maui in the beautiful laid back city of Kihei where you can enjoy the beautiful sea breezes flowing through the unit. It is available for one, two or three people. This quiet location is across the street from Kalepolepo Beach which is perfect for catching our beautiful island sunsets or reading a good book.
Our condo is enhanced by a private lanai overlooking a beautiful garden & tennis court at the Kihei Bay Surf condos in a very quiet area away from the street noise. Perfect for morning coffee or an evening toast.

Our unit features a very comfortable queen size bed and a sleeper sofa that opens to a queen memory foam platform bed. Our bathroom has a tiled walk-in shower and our kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove & oven, a dishwasher and a microwave as well as toaster, coffee machine, pots/pans, dishes, and serving ware. This charming studio has a ceiling fan, A/C, cable television, FREE high speed wifi internet connection, and a Blue Ray DVD player for your convenience.

The complex is built around a central courtyard with most units facing into the landscaped area. The buildings are low rise (only two stories). In addition to a swimming pool, the grounds feature a hot-tub, tennis court, and a BBQ area with gas grills. There is one free parking space provided for all our guests.

Across the street is a small whale sanctuary park with viewing telescopes and educational displays. The park has shade trees, picnic tables, and a shallow lagoon for swimming. There are also archaeological displays of the ancient Hawaiian fish ponds and a village site.

Sugar Beach is located just a couple of minutes by foot down Kihei Road, from where you can walk or run 3.5 miles along a sandy beach, passing only a few buildings. The swimming beaches of Charley Young, Kamaole I, II and III, and Keavakapu are a very short drive by car or scooter into Kihei. A short drive further south are more secluded beaches as well as the famous, and our favorite, Makena Beach.

If you are coming to Maui, we can provide the perfect base for a relaxing vacation, or a more adventurous exploration of the island's natural beauty. We provide full beach gear for your convenience; large towels, snorkel equipment, Tommy Bahama Beach Chairs, Tommy Bahama Beach Umbrella, and a cooler for snacks, lite lunch or evening sunset picnic on the beach.

Sweet place with everything we needed -and then some-! The owners were quick to respond to any questions; they were very accommodating. It was a quick walk to the beach and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

We enjoyed our stay, the unit was clean and had everything we needed. The location was great and neighborhood was safe and quiet. We did not use the pool however it looked clean and well kept. The a/c was a godsend and they had guide books to help plan out your activities for the day. Thanks for everything! We can’t wait for next time.

Ted and Dom's condo is in a great spot, with the beach right across the street and great restaurants nearby. We found it to be central to everything, making drives around the island a bit easier. The place is comfortable and has every amenity you need.

Ted and Dom's place worked out perfect for what we needed. A place close by to the airport as my family was only here for one night. It was nice and clean, kitchen with everything needed if you decide to cook, closet had a lot of recreational items for the beach or tennis rackets to play on the tennis court at their place. A nice cozy place.

Some of the most important things or me are cleanliness- and this was great. Bed was ok. Everything needed was provided including linens and a starter supply of toilet paper sand paper towels. Basic dishes. The porch had a view of the tennis courts. We never used the pool. Great access to all areas of the island.

We stayed here for a week. I wasnt sure on what to bring from home and after getting here I needed nothing really. They supplied everything in the kitchen you could need except maybe a sharp cutting knife. Which we did bring. No need to pack extra tp. Paper towels. The unit is perfect and I wouldn't change a thing. I would bring from home a sharp knife, coffee for the first morning (there are filters already here) may 3 clothes pins,ziplock bags and foil. Would recommend staying here .

Ted and Dom are very communicative and it was super comfortable staying at this place. Tennis court right outside and using the pool everyday are additional perks. Beach right across the street and lots of things around in Kihei are at a short drive. The apartment has everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone.

Staying in this unit at Kihei Bay Surf is a pleasure with the great decor, very comfortable bed, fully equipped unit in every way, including the beach chairs and added swimming gear, quiet area in the complex, and Ted and Dom responding immediately with any questions or concerns. Just a short walk to the beach and no stairs is a big plus! We loved our stay at 118!!

Communication was excellent in both written and phone. We had no troubles getting in and settling down. The property's location is unbeatable, directly across from a beach and a Whale Research center (highly recommended for their lectures and exhibits). Down the road are strip malls with Longs Drugs (they sell small packets of ketsup, soy sause if needed), Foodland, Times Supermarket. Lots of restaurants too. We recommend Foodland for the poke selection! The bathroom was smallish, but well maintained and had all the amenities (soap, towels) we needed. The clothes closet had 2 large beach chairs, flippers, boogie boards (all in great condition). The bed and sofa were large and comfortable; sleeping for us and our son was quite simple. Extra bed clothes are provided for the sofa as well. The kitchen was a small counter space which included a microwave (with counter light), coffee maker, pots, non stick pans, dishes, cups and utensils. All in good condition. The refrigerator was large, with a big freezer with 2 ice trays. The furnishings had a cute island vibe which made us feel right at home in Hawaii. Parking was simple, with enough ample space for us to often park directly in front of our door. Even during New Year's, we didn't experience a heavy party scene. Our neighbors were mainly other families who were fairly quiet. We would definitely stay here again next time on Maui!

Owner called the police to have me evicted

Owner called the police to have me evicted

Owners bylaws states condo would not be available till after 3pm. I arrived at 4 PM after a 6 1/2 hour turbulent flight and owner was not at the condo, but a crew had just started to clean the condo. I waited for 20 min. and the owner arrived. He stated come back in 2 hours and the condo will be finished. I was upset and tired. I came back after 2 hours and the condo was not cleaned properly. I did get a email from the owner stating the condo was not only painted but cleaned a couple days before my arrival. No smell of fresh paint and was not even cleaned properly. No instructions were found on how to turn on the TV and operate the remote. In fact several of the remote buttons did not work, eg. no volume control and many button were none functional. Called the owner the next day morning, noon and evening. He did not respond, but told me later he was at my door at 9pm, of course I was asleep being on west coast time. The next day the owner arrived and tried to evict me due to my complaints. The owner called the police and they just laughed at him as this was a civil matter, and I was even more upset with him. I had one drawer to use [7in. x 14 in] ...all the other drawers were so full of towels and linen they were hard to open. I opened the safe door and the whole unit fell off the closet shelf as it was attached to a particle board shelf. The weight of the door made the safe fall of the shelf and hit both of my arms and caused bleeding and bruising. Have photos. Screen door to the patio would not lock. Owner stated he would give a discount of $99 and I never received it. I called AX and they are going to take care of this situation.

Cool and quiet apartment with the perfect proximity to all locations on island. We stayed comfortably in this apartment for 2 nights on a quick trip to Maui. Great proximity to some of our favorite beaches and Haleakala and excellent amenities including everything you need for the beach - chairs, cooler, umbrella, snorkels. Would recommend!

Perfect size for a family of 3, location is great for accessing the beaches of South Maui. The condo complex has great amenities ie. pool and laundry. No issues with parking even when coming back late in the evening. Full kitchen facility. Nice assortment of beach amenities ie. chairs, body boards, cooler, snorkel gear. Very prompt response from owners when we had a question. We would definitely stay here again when traveling to Maui.
