Better equipped kitchen than home, lots of utensils, pots & pans, cutlery and crockery. Spacious 3 bedrooms with extra blankets and bedding, and only a 5 minute walk from all the shops and the middle of town. An emphasis on comfort but a home with character. We’ll be back.

The cottage is a delight. Each room has its own character with its individual furnishings. It is comfortable and plenty of room for four guests. The breakfast provisions were a bonus and very much appreciated. The cottage is situated in a quiet area with off street parking. A short drive to retail and cafes. Great place to relax.

My husband and I were so impressed with Hyacinth House. Not only did it meet its online criteria, the owners provided everything we could possibly think of. Their attention to detail was extraordinary. We have had such a relaxing stay and would be happy to recommend staying to anyone.

This was cosy and hospitable in the depths of winter. The host was thoughtful in providing special touches, the bed was very comfortable, the dogs were secure, the ambience and decoration was outstanding and the location was terrific. A fantastic stay in every sense.

What a beautiful home to be able to stay in for our introduction to relocating to Bendigo. The house was located in a quiet street within walking distance to the shopping complex. Allan had thought of all the little things that make you feel at home, such as providing milk,juice ,breakfast goodies. Electric blankets (we stayed in July) and central heating. Even down to the little gold fish that we enjoyed feeding. We didn’t want to leave….thank you again Allan it was the best introduction to Bendigo .

Hyacinth House is a very comfortable home located on a quiet street in a lovely, friendly neighbourhood in Bendigo. The house is very clean, well-equipped, and furnished. I stayed for 8 nights on a work trip with my dog. There is a small, fully fenced garden, and the neighbourhood is lovely to walk around, with parks within easy walking distance. If you are staying for work, be aware there is no WiFi, so you will need to have an external internet source. Allan is a very considerate host and includes breakfast and basic provisions. The homemade muffins and slice were a lovely touch. As a host, Allan is available but not intrusive,

What a fabulous place to stay! Comfortable, spacious, quiet neighbourhood yet a quick straight trip into the CBD. But it was the little touches that made us feel so welcome and at home - a homemade cake!!!, fresh fruit, the glass already in the bathroom for our toothbrushes, the exquisite and eclectic art work. I was looking for a place that my husband could relax in comfort while I was off at workshops, and this home was just perfect. Thank you so much!

We had a lovely and comfortable stay. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with the the generous breakfast provisions, that went beyond the usual with extras like fruits, juice, biscuits and even home-baked treats. The location is close to the town centre and within walking distance of supermarkets and dining options. Would definitely consider staying again when we next visit Bendigo.

We could not have asked for anything more. A true home away from home. The very generous breakfast provisions that were supplied were a surprise and were very much appreciated! We didn't go hungry that's for sure. To be able to have our fur babies with us at lovely properties like this is the reason we travel often. The house was spotless, beautifully presented and we truly loved the attention to detail. It's not often you can stay at such a lovely place where everything you need is supplied and everything actually works. Well done Allan the place is a credit to you. Thank you.

We were so happy with this house. It was immaculate and very welcoming with the food and home made muffins. There was more than enough food. The beds were super comfy and the electric blankets were such a nice bonus. The communication with the owner was great and we will definitely be back to stay here.

There was ample rooms for 4 adults. Going away in middle of a cold winter, there was heating and electric blankets provided which made our stay comfortable. There was no shortage of blankets. Kitchen was fully stocked of utensils as well as bread and milk-which was a nice touch, and the house had an overall lovely comfortable atmosphere. The location was great, and as only a short walk to town to the many restaurants and pubs on offer. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The cleanliness of the house was perfect. It felt like a home away from home. I would definitely recommend this home for anyone staying either with friends or a small family. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you

This is our fourth or fifth stay at Hyacinth house. It is an immaculate, comfortable and centrally located base for exploring the many attractions of Bendigo and surrounding areas. Allan is a very considerate and generous host. We look forward to another visit in the not-too-distant future.
