About this house rental

We invite you to enjoy our home away from home in central Florida. Our 3 bedroom (plus office) 2 bath home in North Lakeland is only 40 minutes from Disney and about 30 minutes from Tampa. We are close enough to enjoy all the fun things to do in central Florida but out of the traffic and chaos of the larger cities.

We are located close to shopping and less than 10 minutes from Interstate 4. Lakeland has a quaint downtown with a large weekly farmer’s market and a central square with great shops and restaurants.

The Master bedroom has a queen sized bed and private bath with walk in shower and large jetted tub. Bedroom two has a queen sized bed. Bedroom three has a twin daybed with a trundle. There is also a new pull out couch in the family room. Bedrooms two and three share a bath. The family room has an over-sized sliding glass door that opens to a large screened in porch overlooking the fully fenced backyard. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the screened porch while the sunrises every morning. Our home is pet friendly, we just ask that you clean up after your pets.

Place not as clean as stated. Low in supplies such as detergent toilet tissue. Rusty washer dryer. Found 4 roaches in the house. Dish washer left dishes dirty. Dishwasher pods were hard as rock. Greasy microwave filter House dated. Other rentals in area were updated for the same price.

We have rented this house for several years over the holidays. It is so nice to have our own home while there visiting our daughter, son-in-law, and two beautiful granddaughters. Although we spent a lot of time at their house, it was so fun for us to be able to have Christmas Eve at "our" house! We also got to have a sleepover with the girls one night. Such a treat for grandparents who live in Ohio! The owner is amazing and SO helpful. We needed a slight date adjustment and she helped us out without any issues. Also, unfortunately I had to visit the E.R. during my stay, but Lakeland Regional is right around the corner.

We had a very enjoyable stay, it was exactly the type of property we were hoping for. We stayed for an extended period of time, 11 days with our 2 dogs. The backyard is securely fenced with a nice screened in area that we enjoyed our evenings on. The property owner was very responsive and there were no surprises. The whole experience happened exactly how we hoped, drama free and the house was as described. We will be back in town in the spring and we hope the house will be available again.

This spacious vacation home in North Lakeland had all of the amenities anyone could ask for and more! The neighborhood was quiet and the location was perfect and close to shopping, beaches, and theme parks. The back porch was exceptionally nice and we spent most mornings having our coffee there. The owners were extremely accommodating and were more than willing to go the extra mile to meet our needs. We really enjoyed our stay in North Lakeland and would definitely recommend this vacation home to everyone!

Finally reached FL after road tripping down from CT with a toddler and 2 dogs. The house is spacious with a nice screened in porch for enjoying morning coffee. The dogs enjoyed being able to run around off lead in the fenced backyard and we couldn't ask for a better location for visiting family in Lakeland. Whirlpool tub in the master bath was also great for relaxing at the end of a busy day. Highly recommend for families looking for a fun getaway. Conveniently located near Dinosaur World and a reasonable drive to Tampa or Orlando.

We really enjoyed our three month stay at this property. It is a bright, comfortable home with everything you need for a Florida vacation. Grocery store, restaurants, etc. only short distance away and the neighborhood is quiet. We did not have any issues while we were there and the few times we had questions, the owner was quick to respond. We highly recommend the property.

This was our second rental of this property in back to back years. Good location, convenient to shopping and dining. Perfect place for us to unwind after the Sun-n-Fun show. Plenty of space for us to spread out Beds/mattresses were upgraded since our last visit. Quite comfortable. Looking forward to our visit again next year.

Home was as advertised--very clean, well maintained, roomy and in a very nice neighborhood. All the necessities for preparing meals at home were there as well as a fenced- in- yard that our two Goldens enjoyed. Lakeland is a very pretty community with a real town center and fine historic district including the campus of Florida Southern College with many buildings designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Would recommend the lengthy tour of the campus to everyone. Lake Hollingsworth was particularly nice with a user friendly trail around the lake. The only downside was the traffic. This home is about seven miles north of town. Being from Vermont, all the traffic is really annoying. (Hint: take Kathleen into town--NOT 98!)

We recently rented with our two kids, our two friends and their child. There was plenty of space for all of us. We loved the screened porch at night. Didn't have to worry about bugs but could still enjoy the outdoors. The neighborhood was very quiet and everyone was very nice. A perfect place to take a walk around with your kids just to get out of the house. The wasn't any negatives about this house what so ever.

Was exactly what we were looking for while in town for the Sun-n-Fun show. Was a little further away from the airport than I expected and we finally figured out the shortcut to the airport after being there for 5 days, which helped a lot. Was plenty of room for us and had everything we needed. If there was a negative, it was that the two main beds both need to have new mattresses. They have seen better days. Otherwise it was a nice quiet location and neighborhood
