We had a great stay here - the cottage is perfect, and even lovelier than the pictures online. Definitely hope to be back!!

Our stay at this charming cottage near the Northumberland Strait was nothing short of magical. The tasteful decor created a cozy atmosphere, and every amenity we needed was thoughtfully provided. The peaceful surroundings made for a truly relaxing getaway. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to any queries we had. A perfect retreat that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a slice of paradise in PEI."

The cottage is even better in person than the pictures. It is well cared for, updated and stocked with all you need. The master bedroom queen bed is high quality and very comfortable. The central location is perfect if you wish to explore all of the island and the beach provides an exploration adventure everyday. After travelling around the island, one of my favourite places was Victoria, just down the road from the cottage, and the Lobster Barn with the best lobster rolls I’ve ever tasted. My hosts were friendly, communicative and helpful. Thank you for making my first trip to PEI memorable!

Everything was perfect - super convenient location to explore the island, beautiful views, easy access to the beach where you can walk for miles at low tide. The cottage was extremely well equipped and comfortable, had everything we needed for a week’s stay. The host was very communicative and helpful with any questions we had. We 1000% want to come back and would recommend this place to anyone!

My wife, black lab and I thoroughly enjoyed our nine days at the cottage. We had great May weather with rain on only our last day. We explored parts of the island we hadn’t visited before including Skinner’s Pond. Walks along the shore at low tide were great with the dog and the wife even swam once at high tide.
Would definitely rent again. Aiden was a great host.

We loved it. Unfortunatly we got there during the storm but we managed to make the tour of the island. Its always nice in PEI even under the rain. We got lucky and on our last day the sun was out and even though the stairs were damaged by the storm, making our treck down to the beach hazardouswe we were able to get down to the beach and spend a couple of hours on the beach.

My wife and I just stayed here a week for our 25th anniversary. The cottage was so clean and well stocked. The location is very convenient and beautiful! Just a 15 min drive from the bridge and in such a quiet picturesque spot. Also 15 min drive from Victoria which has some great restaurants and seafood. Aiden was very kind and helpful. Enjoyed every minute of our stay and MUST return some day!
5 stars all the way!!!

This gem is a beautiful find. Easy access to the Northumberland strait and a beautiful beach. The home is outfitted with everything you could need, with room to store your own things for your stay. Hosts are wonderful! We love coming!

So much to love about this place and PEI. Right on the water with access to the beach, and great jumping off point to explore local towns and adventures all over the island. The deck and views were perfect for just taking it all in, and we loved the nautical charm of our accommodations. Would definitely stay here again!

Had the most wonderful week here! The listing is extremely accurate! The location is absolute perfection. Definitely recommend!

This cottage was located in Augustine Cove which was only a 10 minute drive from the Confederation Bridge. The beach is fantastic with it's majestic red sand. Water was warm! The cottage had everything except AC and we had no idea PEI was this warm in July as it was our first trip to the island. If the cottage had AC, we would have been much more comfortable but this was our fault for not checking and the weather before renting. We would rent this cottage again but not in the months of July or August as the heat and humidity was too much for us. We noticed that even tourists from North Carolina and Florida were complaining about the weather, so it wasn't just us. D.H. Toronto

We loved our stay in Augustine Cove.....especially our grandson! It was a short drive over to Cavendish to do the "tourist'' activities with a four year old. We were kept busy and entertained. Then to come back to the quiet of our cottage and look out over the ocean.....breath taking. The beach was great for exploring and swimming. I would recommend this cottage to family and friends. It really is "a little slice of heaven".

The pictures depict this beautiful costal cottage perfectly. The cottage has everything you will need for your stay. Its nice and quiet. There's wonderful restaurants in Victoria which is only 15 mins away. Victoria is a must see!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this awesome cottage for three weeks, and we never wanted to leave! The area is incredibly quiet, and the view of the water is absolutely breathtaking. The cottage had everything we needed, and the thoughtful attention to detail was evident. Exceeded my expectations. We are already planning to go back next year. Highly recommended!

This was our first time on the island and we couldn’t have been happier with this place. The location is perfect, halfway between Summerside and Charlottetown. The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed. Best of all, the ocean view is amazing. I will miss our daily walks on the beach. We had the best holiday!

This was my first trip to PEI and my stay at Augustine Cove made my trip even more memorable. The cottage is exactly as pictured on VRBO. It is situated between Summerside and Charlottetown making travel to other parts of the island easy. You can sit on the deck or inside the cottage and watch the Northumberland Strait…the views never got boring. You could swim at high or low tide, but when it was low tide the tidal pools were fun to play in…especially if you are an English Springer Spaniel. Our host Aiden was amazing and was easy to contact if required. I have already rebooked the cottage and I can’t wait. Thanks Aidan for a great two week vacation in PEI!

From playing in the tidal pools to exploring Victoria ByThe Sea, this cottage has everything you need for a great vacation. You can sit on the deck & watch the lobster boats then take in the amazing sunset over the Confederation Bridge. Both Cavendish & Charlottetown are less than an hour away. And don't miss Thunder Cove Beach - tricky parking but well worth the trip. There are lots of restaurants but for a relaxing dinner, pickup the pre-cooked lobster from Captain Cooke seafood just down the road! We had a terrific week - we miss it already!

My parents had a wonderful time at the cottage! The view was amazing and the cottage was clean and comfortable.

Such a wonderful central location on the island. The best beach and property we have stayed at on PEI. It was so wonderful to be able to swim or explore and collect seashells right outside our door. The hammock was our favourite spot to read. The cottage is decorated so beautifully, is very comfortable and has everything you could need. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

We stayed here for a week with our family. It’s absolutely beautiful! The cottage was equipped with everything we needed and our hosts were super helpful. We walked the beach daily, exploring tide pools at low tide, did some kayaking, and enjoyed listening to the sounds of the waves at night under an incredible sky of stars. Just perfect. Highly recommend!

Maritime bliss
A perfect cottage and location to enjoy the ocean, the views, and the wildlife including Loons, Commorants, Ospreys, Foxes and even a few seals swimming by and interesting walks on the beaches. A short drive to Charlottetown allowed us to enjoy Tell Tale Harbour, a Musical at the Confederation Centre...worth seeing.

Great cottage, beach and view!
The cottage was everything that it was described to be. Had all the amenities required to make an enjoyable, perfect stay. The view was spectacular with a beautiful beach to walk on when the tide was out.

Lovely cottage
My mother and I had a wonderful time at this property. No complaints. Place exceeds expectations, nicer than photos in listing. Red sand beaches a few feet away that at low tide one can walk for many kilometres. Especially loved the rock formations nearby. Great place to explore!

Fall Visit Capes at Augustine Cove
An eclectic cottage right on the water with gorgeous sunsets and easy access to the beach. Great area for long walks during low tide. The area is highly populated but was quiet during our fall visit. Well positioned for travel to Summerside or Charlottetown and other island destinations. Our hosts were quick to answer questions and provide information. Nicely situated cottage for a couple or small family.

Throughly enjoyed our stay at this summer cottage. If you are looking for peace, quiet, wonderful ocean views and complete relaxation this property is ideal.

Cozy Seaside Cottage
Great location overlooking the Northumberland Strait and Confederation Bridge. Strategically located between Summerside and Charlottetown. Spacious, nicely decorated and well equipped. Bathroom great, beds comfortable. Kitchen excellent - one of the first times that the first thing we did not have to do after arrival was to run to a Dollar store pick up all the missing stuff.
TV and WiFi were nice but hardly used because we preferred the view. Great place for quiet relaxation and base for exploration.

Amazing family vacation spot on the beach
My family loved our stay at Augustine Cove....the house was charming and right on the beach. We went from breakfast, to the beach, to lunch, to the beach, to dinner, then back to the beach every day. Couldn't ask for more!

Loved our relaxing week at this cottage on the south shore of PEI. I went with my wife, 20 month old, and golden retriever. I have to give this cottage a 5 star review. The best thing about it is the view and location. The deck has unobstructed ocean views, and there are steps to access the beautiful beach from your deck. The beach is relatively private shared only among a few cottages. It felt like an oasis. The cottage is a cottage. It is nicely decorated, had supplies nicely stocked like keurig, etc. There is no air conditioning or wifi, but you can cool off in the water and being disconnected is nice. Hosts responded quickly to questions when they arose. Would stay here again.

One of our favourite PEI stays. We loved the location just off the bridge, and the beach was great! Also, the inside was really well done and had everything that we needed. We definitely recommend this cottage.

Perfection
The photos were exactly what the cottage was like. The only thing they couldn't show was the amazing smell of sea air every single morning. Of course we had great weather, with warm days and cool nights, and bought a cord of wood from somewhere near Summerside for wonderful bonfires. The beach was great for walks, lots of sand and rocks to climb and sand bars when the tide went out. The cottage was comfortable, the kitchen had everything you would need, sitting at the table to eat had a great view of the ocean, lots of windows and lots of day light. It was perfect.!!!

Wonderful Family Vacation
We couldn’t have been happier with this property. The views are incredible and it was amazing being so close to the water. The cottage itself is cozy and well decorated and had everything we needed. Traveling with two little kids, we appreciated having a dishwasher and laundry available. The owner was quick to respond to all our questions. While we had planned to tour the island more, we found that our family enjoyed spending a few days just at the cottage enjoying the private beach. My daughter and I loved having lunch at the Roadside Gallery up the road. The beach was perfect for the kids and they loved watching the tide come in and out and seeing all the treasures left behind. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Perfect!
Lovely, cozy, comfortable cottage right on the beach. Everything you need is at hand & well maintained. You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay & the location is perfect. Water was still warm enough to swim in. We’re already looking forward to coming back! We’d definitely stay here again.

Perfect vacation spot!
We had a perfect vacation at the Capes. The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable, and just steps to a beautiful red sand beach, great for tide pools and shells. The deck was perfect for relaxing, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location was easy to get to, and very central for day tripping. We would definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you to our terrific hosts Aiden and Marissa!

Charming cottage with gorgeous view
This beautiful cottage is charmingly decorated in nautical themed blue and white. Two big walkout windows lead out to a huge deck, right on the beach, overlooking the ocean and the Confederation Bridge. Great central location for taking day trips to explore lovely P.E.I..
