Our family of 12 stayed for a week at the cottage hosted by Jack and Joan. The weather was beautiful, so everyone enjoyed the beach - especially the kids and the water was very warm. There is lots of space outside for the kids to run around. The cottage space was adequate for all of us as we still had some young children, but probably would recommend that no more than 8 adults stay here comfortably. Day bed was good for kids but adults may find it a bit crowded. I would also suggest that the kitchen have a few more items such as foil and salt and pepper. Overall the cottage is very nice and the view is amazing!!

My wife and I stayed with her parents and mine - everything was absolutely perfect. Location, house, view, communication with host, all perfect. House is well equipped. We rent a lot of houses. Most are pretty good. Some fall short. For this one, I couldn't come up with one bad thing to say if I had to. View is stunning. Sun rises over the water, sets over the lighthouse. Seals, herrons, what looked like stripers feeding 20 yards off the beach. Seems it would be to early for this far north. Whatever it was, fun to watch. If I could give this place an 11 out of 10, I would.

The Oceanfront Beach House at Gaspereaux is truly spectacular; the views and its many amenities are superb, outmatched only by the exceptional responsiveness and hospitality of the owners, Joan and Jack. Joan answered all queries very promptly and it was a pleasure to communicate with her. Upon meeting Jack on our second day, we asked about local sources of fresh lobster. He addressed our request by having four delivered the next day, fresh from the morning's harvest from just offshore the house. Prince Edward Island is beautiful, tranquil, and an amazing place to visit. One could not make a better vacation selection than this Oceanfront cottage.

Wow….what a house! The perfect spot for a large family gathering although we were two, the house was cozy and comfortable. The house sits on a sprawling flat piece of land that overlooks the beach…with private beach access. The house is unique with interesting angles and windows that overlook the water and if the sky is clear you can stand in a skylight and get a magnificant view of the stars, planets, and the Milky Way….the screened porch was a huge plus as the mosquitoes were still around. Joan and Jack were lovely and made us feel right at home. A definite five star experience⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a wonderful week with 4 couples at the house. Beautiful sunrises, sunsets, beach walks, golf, bike rides and relaxing views from the deck and nearly every seat inside the house. The house is very private and secluded but convenient to many attractions. Plenty of room to spread out in the house and sleeping quarters were well furnished and quiet. We appreciated being able to store our bikes in the garage as we did have some wet weather. The house is also well furnished and equipped with all you need for a great vacation.

A breathtaking beautiful beach/ocean view. We saw seals frolicking from the deck. The cottage was very comfortable and had lots of room to gather together or to find a cozy spot of your own. There were ocean views from almost every window. We’ve been coming to the island for more than 15 years and this location was by far the very best we’ve experienced.

We have enjoyed Jack and Joan’s hospitality. You can’t beat the location and our dog loved the time he spent running on the beach. We look forward to our next visit

My husband and I and our dog visited PEI the first week of May. We were unlucky enough to have terrible weather for the entire week we were there, but the location of the house right on the water, and the fact that the house was so lovely, made up for everything. Location, location, location - yes, it's that good! It was cold (around 40 degrees F), 20-30 mph winds, and rainy every day except the first day, so we didn't get out nearly as much as we normally would. We still enjoyed the stay very much. It's definitely a private setting. The owners checked in with us the first day to make sure things were OK and were very quick to respond to questions after that. We ate a number of meals at the house and found all the cooking and eating utensils required. There are two decent-sized grocery stores in Montague, about 15 min. away. We were only on the beach the first day because of the weather and, of course, didn't swim, so I can't address the swimming, although our dog went in and laid in the surf and gave it two paws up. The beach itself was lovely for walking. One heads-up is that we discovered after arriving that almost all the tourist destinations do not open until June, and some not until July, so if that's what you're going for, plan accordingly. We would go back again in a heartbeat!

Perfect spot, right on the ocean
We watched the sea lions playing in the water and The bald eagles flying overhead.
Close to 2 amazing golf courses and amenities in Montague.
We would highly recommend this property.
Comfy beds and plenty of room for 4 couples enjoying a holiday 😊

The house provided 6 adults and 5 kids with enough space. There is a lot of seaweed in front of the property so you can’t swim there. You have to go to the right or left as it us not maintained. The stairs to get down to the ocean need attention as they are very steep, slippery with sand on them and the bottom is balancing on loose rocks. This would be my only real complaint as it is not safe. The house had pretty much everything you need and if there is something missing, Montague us only a 20 minute drive. There is air condition on the lower level but not upstairs. The upstairs was pretty hot the first 2 nights even with fans so it was hard to sleep but besides that, everything was good. Your contact Joan was very good. She checks in and makes sure everything is ok. The wifi is not too dependable so if you need it make sure you have your own coverage. Lots of space in the house. The seals were nice to watch.

Beautiful, large, stylish and well appointed home with huge deck, vast lawn with private beach. Public life-guarded beach a short, lovely walk away. Such million dollar views, and sense of privacy. We loved every minute there, feel grateful to have stayed and can’t wait to return. Perfection!

The perfect place for a family vacation! We couldn’t have asked for a better house to rent. The house was clean and had lots of room. The beach was spectacular and the seals were an added bonus.

Family reuniting
We had an incredible week together. The property was stunning and we could have easily stayed put for the entire week. However the location readily allowed us to go off on day adventures to explore PEI.

We had an amazing stay. We saw the best sunsets and sunrises from the deck.
I would highly recommend staying here. The house was clean, very nice, enough room for my family and everything you could imagine was provided. My family all met there to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. We had teenagers, dogs, and adults and we all really enjoyed our week there. The hosts communicated well with us. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Wonderful Sunrises
The Atlantic Ocean abuts the property on the east, and early mornings were splendid even on cool windy days. Very private beach, excellent air, fine restaurants not far away. Even though we stayed (for 4 weeks!) prior to the peak summer season, it was great. Highly recommended.

AMAZING
Joan & Jackie thank you so much for renting your beautiful home to us for two weeks. The house had everything we needed and more and the view is to die for. Waking up every morning to that view was amazing. If you will have us, we will be back next year! Thanks to you both

Home away from Home
Peaceful location right on the ocean with a private beach steps from the back door. We saw seals fishing for crabs and clams from the deck. We didn’t luck out with the weather, but the house made up for that. It was very warm and cozy with all the modern amenities. Thanks again.

A little slice of Canadian heaven!
Just what I always dreamed of! Quiet. Remote. Right on the ocean. Away from the hustle and bustle of modern city life. Big. Bright. Airy. The screened in porch area - FANTASTIC given the mosquitoes. Firm beds - thank you!!!!. Strolls on the beach for miles with our pooch. Colorful Sunrises and sunsets - you have to see them to believe them!
Be warned: If you want the luxuries of city life such as consistent wifi, water pressure, close to amenities, no mosquitoes - maybe this is not the place for you. A fantastic place to unwind and reconnect with friends and family.
I cannot wait to come back!!

A great week in eastern PEI!
We loved our stay: our proximity to the ocean for long walks, the sunrises and sunsets: breathtaking! Quiet location, lots of room on the premises, indoors and out. Would book this location again! Thanks for your hospitality!

Fabulous in every way
I can't say enough about the beauty and appropriateness of our stay at Jack and Joan's. Everyone, including my 82 and 86 year old parents simply loved the amenities, particularly the ocean, beach and resident seals. We plan on making it an annual visit.

A breathtaking view directly on the sea. Bring your binoculars to observe the seals.Very comfortable house for the family (5 adults and a baby) with all the amenities. Peace and quiet guaranteed. Thanks to Joan and Jack. They are very nice and answered our questions.

Family time
This was a great place for our family (6 adults, 3 kids) to be together under one roof, important when the weather is not conducive to outdoor activities. Very comfortable open concept living/ kitchen area, 3 bathrooms with 3 showers and 2 jacuzzis, lots of space outdoors for lawn games, private beach; all-in-all a great escape destination.

The house was beautiful and the location is awesome with a private beach.
Joan was very accommodating and got back to me with the answers to my questions very quickly. The property was lovely and being on a beach was wonderful. It’s a bit of a drive to a store so you don’t want to forget anything. The views were well worth it though.

We loved our stay. The location was ideal, so close to the ocean with walkable beaches which are sometimes hard to find when renting cottages. It was a great stay!

Seclusion and Space
We required room for our family to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. We required a place with sufficient bedrooms and two or more bathrooms. A place with focus on relaxation, and ease of hosting the family without crowding. Tall Order!
Looked at 3 provinces and dozens of homes, and when we came to VRBO's Panmuir View House on Prince Edward Island, we were sure that this location offered the facility that we were looking for. And, we were correct. On arrival, one look at the actual property and we knew that the write-up was accurate and that our family would be more than at home here. Questions prior to and after booking were answered VERY promptly by Jack and Joan and we were contacted by Jack by phone after arrival to ensure that we were settled and had what we needed. Yes, we did. This place is close enough to the quaint fishing village of Montague that everything that we needed in the way of provisions was nearby - 24 km to town. Need dinner out? - contact Windows on the Water!
Yet, the area is practically deserted of people and esp tourists. The beach was very private and one could walk for miles in either direction. The best view was to the west to the lighthouse - an actual working lighthouse. Bon fires on the beach are less than 50 steps away. Ocean water was calm, and brisk. Seals just off-shore. The house was as spacious as advertised. The entire place was clean and well equipped with a complete kitchen, lots of sitting area, TV and satellite, and the view from the dining area, spectacular. Sleeping for 10 or more in comfort. Three baths, all with showers. Great for kids too. We travelled with two - aged 3 and 7 and lots of room to play and run. The beach was the show stealer for them. Safe, and fine, clean sand - lots of sand - red sand - everywhere. This is a popular property and books early for the best months of summer. We were fortunate and got about the last available summer week and that just happened to match our week of need. Consider Panmuir View House if you need space and comfort for 3 couples or families. Value for the money. Tell em "Pete sent you".

PEI Beach Paridise
A wonderful home on the beach, great walking. The house was well equipped, we cooked most meals. Slept 10 very comfortably. We awoke each morning to the song of birds. Easy shopping in Montaque.

Great place to get away with entire family!
We had a great time at this home. It was comfortable, inviting and clean. We were right on the beach. I woke up in the mornings hearing the waves hit the shore and a view of the beach. How great is that! There were 12 of us and we kept the kids busy and off of the devices as much as possible. The lighthouse is a distance to walk but worth it. Our hosts got back to us quickly when we sent them an email. I could have called but there were no emergencies. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a peaceful haven to vacation

Beautiful Seaside House
We stayed here for a week in June with extended family. What a find! While the house is a little older, it was clean and well equipped. The kids really enjoyed the swing set and the large lawn. The adults enjoyed walking on the quiet beach and sitting on the deck soaking up the sun. It was a joy to watch the lobster boats each morning and see the Panmure Lighthouse flash in the distance each night. We would definitely stay here again.

PEI heavenly location
Gorgeous home and property with a truly scenic ocean view. This remote location is only 15 minutes from Montague, and 20 minutes from Georgetown. Sumptuous local restaurants in each town, and surrounding areas, offer fantastic seafood dishes. Or, buy your seafood fresh in town from a local fish truck or the grocery, and enjoy a home cooked feast (which we did on several occasions!) with a fantastic, very private view. The hosts are superb, friendly, hands-on local folks that will ensure your trip is memorable. And world class golf at several courses around the island is within 25 minutes. It was truly a remarkable vacation.

We just returned from a week at this wonderful home.
Thanks for renting your home. It was so nice to watch the sun come up in the morning and relax overlooking the water as the birds flew there. The home has a wonderful location as it is very quiet and the views are very peaceful.
It is very comfortable inside and has many windows to enjoy the outside.
Well equipped home.
