Cottage sleeps up to 6 comfortably. Modern fully equipped kitchen with quartz counters and maple cabinets. Kitchen includes gas range, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and ice maker. New bathroom remodel in 2015. Bedroom remodeled in 2016 and 2017. House abuts woods and is on quiet family street. Large new 28 x 12 deck with picnic table and gas grill. Extra enclosed shower outside. WI-FI, Flat screen 43" smart TV . Daily parking fee for ocean beaches. Free parking at Green Hill Pond Beach. Short walk (one third mile) to Charlestown Beach Road and Ice Cream and Bakery stores. Cottage located halfway between Newport and Foxwoods Resort Casino (26 miles each way). Available by the week during the summer season Sat to Sat or by the night (3 night min April, May, June, September). No Pets, No Smoking

Close to everything. Would have been good to know how to get to the beach through the neighborhood. Need to bring passwords for Roku connection. Pretty much as described. No linens or towels so be sure to be what you will need because no washer.

Although the neighborhood was nice , the location was far from stores and beaches. The 1 floor home was good for young children but it was difficult not having a bathtub. The beds were uncomfortable and there was ants in the house daily. The back porch / yard was nice. The tree swing broke when used causing injury. Overall we made the best of our stay and had a good time.

We enjoyed staying at the cottage. Very clean. The window air conditioners were great on hot days. The back deck is a good place to congregate. Charleston Breachway Beach is just a short drive.

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The cottage was comfortable, looked exactly like pictures, beautiful backyard. The only minor complaint we would have is the bedroom with queen bed was extremely tight and uncomfortable to get around in. If you had mobility issues, you might have difficulty in there. But it wouldn’t stop me from renting the cottage again. The location for us wasn’t a perfect fit. The beaches were stunning. But, you can only see the water when you are on the beach (and paid for parking). We want to see the water more frequently during our stay. We did enjoy the pond and brought our kayaks. It was great for that. Also great central location… to Westerly, Newport, and Block Island Ferry. So, if you are ok with those few caveats I would definitely recommend this cottage.

The neighborhood and house was very nice. The only problem I had during the whole stay was that the mattresses were extremely hard so I had back and hip pain.

Lovely setting, workable cottage, inadequate bathroom but a nice kitchen. . Probably works best for a gang of parents and 4 children, or a couple sleeping in back bedroom together. Beds in front bedroom really are hard as a rock or soft as a sway back camel. But liked staying there a lot! Host should specify that he has Roku and not Cable. Technically the description of WiFi and TV is correct, but it's misleading. These are suggestions not overall dampening impressions. I left a few items of clothing there in a bureau drawer - socks, a new shirt (white with black and blue stripes) - and am wondering if host would send them to me and I will return the postage. There were no garbage bins to wheel out to the front so put the garbage and recycling in the back. A steady battle with small ants, so some traps might be in order.

The cottage was adequate for our stay. The only issue was that there was a very strong odor of a cleaning product that seemed to be used on the blue high back chair in the living room. After airing out the house for a day it was much less noticeable. We were allowed to arrive early so perhaps the cleaners had just left? We enjoyed the private back yard and quiet neighborhood and great location for kayaking.

We had a great time at Steve’s cottage. It right on the border of Charlestown Beach and South Kingstown by Green Hill Pond. A lovely place to hang out in the summer! Lots of beach fun and a close drive to many other cool towns (Mystic, Watch Hill and Westerly, Newport, Narragansett, etc). The only things we missed were having a beach pass with the house and a washer/dryer. Otherwise, it was exactly what our family if 4 needed to relax.

We absolutely loved our week in Rhode Island. The cottage was amazing and had everything we needed. The big deck was perfect for grilling and eating outside. The location was great as we were so close to amazing beaches and restaurants. We would definitely come back!

Great location on this rental in RI. Beach, Coffee, Restaurants, Ice Cream, Market, Deli and Package Store all with in a mile of this house. Great set-up. House has plenty of room and the deck with grill and fire pit is perfect for cooking out and relaxing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We were 4 adults and it worked out fine with exception of the one bathroom which, at times, presented a small issue. Other than that we were very happy and enjoyed our stay. The house had much more in the way of supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) upon arrival than any other property we've ever rented. Neighbors were pleasant and we really enjoyed watching the wild bunnies in the morning and at night. Will probably return next summer!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The deck, yard and fire pit were great! It was a short walk to the pond and easy access to the beach. The beach was not within walking distance but a short drive and very well kept! Our only complaint would be the mattresses and bedding. The twin beds were very hard and difficult for the kids to sleep on, and even though the linens were included they were nothing I would have allowed my family to use. Thankfully we had brought our own! The good far outweighs the bad and we would definitely stay here again!

This is a quaint little cottage not too far from the beach in Charlestown. It's very tiny but it's comforting and relaxing. My only complaint is there are no linens for the beds and you have to bring your own towels. The mattresses are old and not comfortable. But it's a cute little place to stay.

It is a lovely quite cozy getaway spot. It was very clean . And the kitchen has everything needed to entertain. Only complaint would be that it is a little farther from the beach than we would have liked. But we would rent again. 👍𣐼􏏼

This quaint cottage has been modernized and the owner has done the absolute best to make the small space feel larger. The Open floor plan flows nicely onto a huge deck where we spent a lot of time. We had six adults stay for a few nights and all of us were comfortable and did not feel crowded at all. This house is in an ideal location as well. We were able to walk to the beach (1.67 miles) if we were not being lazy. Very quiet neighborhood made this the ideal relaxing vacation home. Definitely a deal!

Our stay at this cottage was most delightful. The accommodations suited both of us perfectly. The cottage is very nicely decorated, the kitchen very adequate for cooking and serving; the deck and backyard are quiet and private. The location is central to all of the area attractions and restaurants. We would recommend the cottage for smaller family groups. Yes we would very much hope to rent it again.
