Overall it was a nice home to stay in.
The beds were that comfy you might consider getting some foam padding for the mattresses. Make sure the coffee filter is emptied, our wasn't. I love the location and town.

House was clean in a good location between Zion and Bryce.

The house was a great location for Zion and Bryce activities. The house was very clean and comfortable for our family. Air conditioning upstairs was inadequate for sleeping but was fantastic downstairs. It was an enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed this comfy, clean, well-equipped home conveniently located near Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. Two mature couples and a dog.

Frozen in time! Clean, neat and functional house bringing back memories from 50 years ago. The house and location worked very well with our parks oriented visit in southern Utah!

Other than a wee glitch in getting the door code-which was because I had no internet on my phone and it had been emailed rather than texted...this was a really awesome place. Vrbo came through on their help line and we did manage to get in within an hour of arrival. I come from isolated, rural areas and I could just imagine this sweet family raising children, and working hard in this sturdy house with apple trees, lilacs, irises and vinca blossoms all either in full bloom or just about to pop! I loved that it had not been "updated" but remained with all the amenities, tile, linoleum and furniture/decor that still were in perfect working order. It made me smile from ear to ear. I expected "Grandma" to appear any moment!!!
A walk down to the spring swollen creek to sit by the bank was an extra bonus. Thank-you so much for sharing a house that probably holds a lot of great memories. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was a lovely place for our very happy country dog to share. It is close to the creek and highway-which would be a concern for small, explorative children-but it is also set up for children in terms of a swing set etc.

This was a great place to stay while we were traveling between Zion and Bryce. It was comfortable and had lots of room to spread out.

Loved the location as we were going to spend some time at Bryce NP and Zion NP. The house was definitely dated and a throw back to the 1950's which is nice to go back in time to that era. For whatever reason, there were bugs in the house that we had to deal with. The rooms were comfortable, and we had everything we needed. There are not any good restaurants nearby, so we went to Kanab when we wanted to eat out and found some restaurants there that we liked a lot.

Great location between Zion & Bryce Canyon
Too noisy for sleeping due to proximity to hwy 9.
Need to be made aware of no close places for evening dining.

Great location for visiting the parks. About an hour drive from both Bryce and Zion. The house is a little old (which wasn't a surprise as it said it in the listing), but it was very clean and it had everything we needed. The shower pressure was a little low, but it wasn't that much of a concern.

The house had everything we could’ve wanted. It was clean, neat and very comfortable. The location was ideal for getting to a number of parks. We were able to get to Zion within 30 minutes, Bryce within a little over an hour and the Grand Canyon in about two hours. We also visited Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon, both in Page, Arizona. Kolob Canyon, Cedar Brakes and Brianhead Peak were also hereby. The price was very reasonable for the area. The larger cities were much more expensive and crowded. We highly recommend this property!

We enjoined staying in Glendale so much! We loved sitting on the front porch with our dog watching the traffic and listening to the rain and thunder under the tin roof! Close access to Zion and Bryce Canyon was a big plus! The house was very clean and roomy! Loved the story behind it, as well! We also enjoyed walking with our dog around town! All in all, it was a wonderful experience!

Perfect stay
Had a couple questions and they were super quick to answer. The house is a perfect place to stay near Zion or Bryce. Will definitely stay again if we are ever in the area.

Mid-century Rural to a T
We loved our stay here! It was quaint and there were no surprises as it was exactly as presented in the listing. Since there were only 2 of us we each got our own room with a comfortable king size bed. All the rooms are a good size and the living room is huge. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well equipped. There are deep drawers full of lenins. Perfect location for our day trips to Bryce Canyon, Zion, and Kanab. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the cars go by and taking walks around Glendale. What we loved most about the house is that it remained true to the builder and continues to reflect the personality of the family that lived there. And you simply can not beat the price. We highly recommend!

Great stay at “Grandmas House”. Beautiful area, great location to explore the area, easy access.
Love this property. Excellent location is small rural farm community close to Zion and Bryce. Bed was very comfortable, shower had plenty of power, house was clean, has everything you need. Beautiful yard with neighboring sheep. Easy to find the home, easy entry, communication was great. Would stay again for sure.

Luved it.......
As others have said before us in reviews, As soon as we opened the door to enter the house it was like going back in time to visit Grandpa & Grandma's house. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and loved the house. It smelled very clean and was. There was only two of us the bed we slept in was very comfortable, we loved the old time memorably and will defiantly stay again when we visit the area. Thank you host for a great stay.

Perfect Central Location
A nice home away from home- peaceful older farm house - enjoyed the sheep in the backyard. Appreciated reading the history of the house and the travel brochures provided for information.
A good bit of traffic on the highway in front of the house, but not necessarily bothersome. A great central location to Zion, Bryce Canyon, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Grafton ghost town, Kanab; we made day trips to all of these sites. Amazingly beautiful and fun places! Gotta see!! Enjoyed the
local rock and gem shops, food trucks, and coffee shop. The local people are very friendly and enjoyed talking with everyone! Perfect week!!

Great value for an awesome location
Great host. This property is exactly as described. There was ample space for our family. We enjoyed the backyard and had a fire in the fire pit on our last night. The home is located between Zion and Bryce Canyon. It is an older home but all appliances worked fine and we enjoyed the character of the home. There are many board games but the chess board was our favorite. We would definitely stay here again.

Nostalgia
This home reminded my husband and I of our grandparents' houses and made us feel so comfortable and at home. We loved the games that were provided (especially great for ages 0-10).

Cozy place within short distance of activities
Very comfortable place to gather as a family and visit with short distances to travel to see scenic sites like Zion's, Bryce, and Pink Dunes. Easy sign in and access!
Minor issues were raised and addressed very promptly. Wifi is available, but wouldn't rely on it if you need bandwidth as wifi bandwidth and cellular service are not strong.
Would definitely visit again as all four of us enjoyed the stay!

Great spot for visiting the national parks in the area. Was nicely themed with all the antiques. Was a pleasure to stay at.

National Parks Tour
The property was as advertised and is a cozy little place to stay and visit 2 National Parks. Checkin was easy and everything worked and was furnished properly! Just keep in mind to bring your own food, not much in the way of restaurants in the area! Overall experience was good and met our needs.

It was like staying at Grandma and Grandpa’s house! Very cute house with plenty of rooms and space. The outdoor area was adorable and a quiet get away.

Cute cottage
This is a lovely cottage on a nice piece of property in a prime location close enough to visit both Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon. The home was clean, quaint, and perfect for the 6 of us (2 adults, 4 kids) to stay a few days. My 4th grader loved the swing, the sheep, and sitting on the front porch. She has asked if we can come again (and my other children agreed). So, that is a WIN! Thanks for a lovely stay.

Great location
The house was great. It was clean and had everything we needed! This is a perfect location if you’re visiting The National Parks in the area. We did a slot canyon repelling tour with East Zion Experience (located in Orderville). It was an awesome experience! Also, check out Belly of the Dragon Cave. The German bakery and cafe has some very tasty treats! If you like geocaching, there are some good finds in this area! If we return to this area we’ll definitely rent this home again.

Like being at Grandma's
This home has been loved for many years. We loved reading about the history of the home and the original owners. The fruit trees and friendly sheep were a fun plus to a great little home. It was the perfect home base for exploring Zion, Kanab, and Bryce. We loved all the personal touches found throughout the home!

Best owner
In my opinion, the location of this house is very good, only 25 minutes from zion and 50 minutes from bryce canyon. Secondly, the house is very clean. Although for four rooms, only one bathroom is not enough, but the landlord is a very good person, this made up for everything. He helped me solve some difficulties and made my journey smoother. Finally, this house has a nice backyard with swings, which is more suitable for children to play. I will book this house again if I have the opportunity.

Visiting Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce.
It is like walking into your grandmas house, homey. Great for a family or couples. There are plenty of beds for sure.
Centrally located. Zion is 30 min., Bryce is 1 hr. and Grand Canyon's North Rim is about 1.5 hrs.
It is right by pretty busy highway so light sleepers not used to noise be ware. Bring earplugs. Other than that great place to stay, would rent it again.

Nice home
The house was nice and conveniently located to our destinations. Sinks, counter & shower were clean. My only complaint was that the kitchen floor needed to be scrubbed. Other than that everything was fine

House with flair
Charming house with great character. Really close to major national parks. Could only use some more table-knifes.

Beautiful and well-kept 50's home located near Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The 1950's home was well-kept and clean. We enjoyed the vintage decor and the beautiful flowers planted all around the property. My kids loved the chess table in the family room. We enjoyed the starry nights in the backyard sitting in the chairs around the fire ring. We also loved being right on the creek. We look forward to coming back. There are so many beautiful places to visit in the area that is impossible to hit them all in one visit. We hiked a nearby slot canyon called Red Hollow. Drove over to Duck Creek Village and ate at a couple of restaurants there, explored Mammoth Cave, and went fishing at Navaio Lake. We had such a great time. We're really looking forward to coming back!
