A true gem of a place. The location, the conversation with the hosts, and quite literally the most amazing waffle I’ve ever had and probably ever will have. I will definitely be back, I’ve already recommended this historic bed and breakfast to all of my friends. Thank you for a wonderful memory!

We loved our 5 night stay here. The location was exactly what we were looking for, close to Zion and Bryce. Rochelle made us feel right at home and breakfasts there were amazing. It was definitely our home away from home!

We had a great stay at Smith Hotel. Rochelle was a lovely host and went out of her way to cater to our needs. The property is lush and a great place to simply relax. Loved it!

Had a lovely time, felt like family after one night. Rochelle and Bunny were great hosts and company. They make a grab and bag if you're off early otherwise, get ready for a gtop-notch breakfast. Unfortunately we forgot or grab and go bags on the last day.

My friend and I stayed for one night after visiting Page, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. The place is unique and well located, making it a convenient stop on our journey. It’s cozy, clean, and truly feels like home. Rochelle was great and prepared amazing waffles for breakfast and we enjoyed learning a bit of her story. Highly recommend this spot.

Historic property with beautiful gardens, antiques, and friendly proprietors. We loved the breakfast and proximity to Bryce Canyon and other parks. The rooms are thoughtfully appointed with mini fridges and microwaves, and the bed and linens were so comfortable.

Small, quaint and comfortable historic hotel with super friendly owners. Amazing breakfast! Great and economical choice for a place to jump off to Bryce the following day.

It was like coming home to your mother's house. The ambience was welcoming and comfy. There was a place to sit and look out over the yard complete with food, microwave, refrigerator, games and books to amuse oneself. The morning breakfast was spectacular. Yummy waffles, fruit and granola. The hostesses were gracious and very accommodating. Would go back with intent to stay longer.

We fell in love with the property with its history and charm. It was the perfect location for Bryce and Zion visits and a wonder place to end the day. We wished we lived closer to stay more frequently but we will keep the place in mind for future travel. The waffles were incredible for breakfast and we cannot express enough how we loved the hummingbirds that were hanging around too! Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this place. It was like home! The hostess was above and beyond and the breakfast was terrific! This was our favorite stay on a 19 day road trip! Wish I could go back again but will probably not be that way ever again!! I would recommend to anyone. Susan

We had a wonderful one night stay at the Historic Smith Hotel B&B traveling on our way from Zion National Park to Bryce Canyon. Rochelle and Bunny were excellent hosts and our room was well appointed, quiet, and very comfortable. The breakfast provided was delicious. The area is rural with limited restaurants but we were advised of that prior to our stay. This B&B is an excellent choice for any travelers who want a quiet restful experience in the area.

Such friendly and helpful owners who cooked delicious breakfasts every day that we were there. Of course this is an older historic home so that has its downfalls but overall was a wonderful stay there and nothing that was not manageable. They gave us wonderful advice about getting into the national parks and even made me a lunch one day when I was ill and had to stay back at the hotel by myself. Also had other food options in the refrigerator upstairs in a little eating room that you could make for yourselves. Very nice stay!!

Very quaint. Really enjoyed staying here. The B&B is an old historic building with up to date amenities. The rooms are spacious and clean. The owners are wonderful. Felt like home. Very cozy. Loved it.
Junk yards seem to be standard yard decor in southwest Utah. Smith BB's yard was very well kept. And convenient to Bryce and Zion NP's.

This property is not what I consider a bed and breakfast. It doesn’t have the charm our class of a bed and breakfast. It is a converted boarding house that has all rooms on the second floor. There are 17 stairs that you must haul your luggage up. The house were very nice but overall I would never stay there again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 2-night stay. The house is very well loved and filled with wonderful antiques. The location was great, halfway between Zion and Bryce. My room was delightful. It had everything I needed. But the best part was enjoying breakfast with the hosts, Rochelle and Bunnie. Thank you for a great stay!

The breakfast was very delicious, especially the self-made waffles and pan cake.

The place was very nice and quaint. I would absolutely stay here again. There was plenty of parking available as well as a few chairs to sit outside and enjoy the crisp evenings. The cat was a surprise bonus :) Make sure to say Hi to him. Plenty of blankets available on those chilly nights. Conveniently located in between Zion and Bryce. We were able to go to both parks no problem. Make sure you check out options of where to eat before you get here. There are not a lot of options. We did find a nice place about 5 miles off the road going to Zion that was perfect. Thanks for having us :)

Rochel is an amazing host! We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Her neighbor & good friend ”Bunny’ joined us for breakfast and the two of them are a delight! We loved our stay. I saw someone complain it was ‘dated’, but that is essence of the charm of Smith B&B. You step back in time which is a wonderful break from the monotony of high tech and contemporary. Also Rochel maintains all the grounds and they are beautiful…flowers and fruit trees and hummingbirds! A little garden of eden in the desert! Glad we stayed at Smith B& B.

We stayed for only one night on our way from Zion to Bryce Canyon. It's a historic building, so naturally the room isn't brand new, and instead has a very homely feeling to it. Everything was clean and we felt very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and fun and the service provided was fantastic. Overall, the Historic Smith Hotel B & B is a real hidden gem in the 'wilderness'.
