My family had an amazing 3 night stay at Shasta Cottage. The location of the property was perfect for our mini day trips, and the cottage itself exceeded our expectations. Every detail is well thought out, and the amenities were above and beyond. We loved the outdoor space, and the hottub was an added bonus to the end of our busy days. Deb, you are an excellent host, and we had the best time! I am hoping we can squeeze in a fall or winter visit!

Overall my family enjoyed this cottage. It was so clean and well kept. My kids are ages 7-15 so they enjoyed the kayaking and paddle boarding, as well as the backyard and hot tub. We made good use of the game selection as well! My only negative comment would be that for young children who love a beach, there is no such area with this lake. We travelled to Wasaga for a day to compromise.
Overall a wonderful place to make memories. Thankyou Deb

9+. Excellent property, modern cottage and extremely clean. Dock and waterfront is not very user friendly. Modern tv"s but require your own user accounts. No Bell, Rogers or Shaw satelite or cable service.
Neighbor was friendly but had large dogs who barked and came on the cottage property. Owner communications and service was outstanding.

Deb was an amazing host. The cottage was so clean that you couldn't tell it was lived in. Everything you'll need is there. My kids aged 4, 8 and 12 had a great time. Kayaking was fun. There's a beautiful private dock just steps away. We loved our time at the Shasta cottage and out of all the cottages I have been to in the past, I'll be returning to this one. There's a lot to do in the towns nearby and beautiful falls to visit with nice trails for hiking.

We had the loveliest girls weekend at the Shasta cottage! The cottage itself is even more beautiful in person and the backyard felt like a true little oasis. All the small details and extra care provided by Deb made the weekend feel extra special! I would 100% recommend staying here and I can't wait to book again!

We could not have booked a better property for our stay! Deb and Bruce were extremely communicative and accommodating before our trip and during our stay. The property is beautiful, clean, fresh and relaxing. The home is fully stocked with everything we may have needed and then some. The welcome we received was extremely thoughtful and much appreciated. My family had an amazing stay. Thank you again Deb and Bruce! We will be back 😊

We visited with 2 adult children. It was delightfully appointed & every guest convenience we could have requested...was already there❣️
Our kids had the lower level where they enjoyed their morning coffee, showers & evening fireplace movies in their own quarters. We enjoyed the lake view, slept like babies in comfort & luxurious linens & showered in our rain shower on the 2nd floor.
Perfect shared areas: kitchen, bbq&deck w/comfy chairs, hot tub, firepit, gazebo
High quality SUP & rec kayaks for paddling ofc the new dock. Delightfully refreshing & rejuvenation surrounded by peaceful lake, trees & blue skies...& osprey sightings too

We will definitely be back! a huge THANK YOU to Deb for making this place available for people to stay in! :)

Was such a lovely place for us to have our wee girls weekend! VERY clean, and cozy. The gazebo was our all time fave place to be, especially since it was a rainy weekend—so we could still
Enjoy outside with complete coverage.

We had a nice stay in this well appointed newly built home.
Nice backyard with hot tub and fire pit as well as access to the water for kayaking. This home is not directly on the water however it is important to note. Overall a 5 star stay.

Great cottage in a great location! The hot tub was the perfect end to a day of hiking trails (of which there are many in the area). It was a quick (and scenic) drive to Owen Sound and Collingwood to hangout along Georgian Bay. Peaceful and quiet at night in super comfy beds! Will be back.

My group of 6 had a lovely stay at Shasta Cottage. Deb was great with all the communication throughout our stay and the check in/out process and the instructions were very clear and straightforward (they even had a nice little welcome bag ready for us). The property was nice, clean, spacious and very well equipped from the kitchen to the linens as well as the many indoor and outdoor games included for us the play. The outdoor gazebo made for a great place to have our meals outdoors without any worry for bugs and the hot tub was a great amenity in this cooler weather. We would definitely recommend this cottage and hope to return in the future ourselves!

We were a group of two couples and we had a great time at Shasta Cottage. There are a lot of cute shops in the area including the Kimberley General Store and Garage 13. The sourdough bread from the general store and Justin's garlic aioli were big hits with us. We also enjoyed our dinner at Heart's Tavern. We played a lot of games and had an enjoyable 20 km ride around Lake Eugenia. The hot tub, the screened in gazebo and outdoor seating areas are great amenities at the cottage. The leaves are just starting to turn and I imagine it will be very beautiful in a few weeks.

My mother and two daughters (18 & 21) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shasta Cottage! Our first time visiting Flesherton and surrounding area and we loved it! My girls spent hours out on the lake on the kayaks and we all came together for card nights, campfires, hot tub time and lots of conversation. The screened gazebo worked out perfectly for outdoor meals and family time. Love it!

Our stay here was amazing! Deborah was helpful and made sure I had all the necessary information before the trip! I also met her daughter who was very responsive when I messaged her for anything during the trip. Very clean, comfortable, had all the things you'd possibly need at a cottage - fire pit, hot tub, even a cute welcome bag with marshmallows and a deck of cards! Would definitely come back! Thank you very much Deb for an excellent stay!

We had a lovely week away at this beautiful home. Everything was neat and tidy and super clean. Mattresses in bedrooms were comfy and cozy. There were plenty of utensils and dishes in the kitchen to make it feel like home and to be able to do some cooking during the stay. We loved the bbq and the outdoor gazebo and fire pit. It was lovely to be able to eat in a screened in area without bugs or rain bothering us. The hot tub was an added feature that we used frequently. The first night we got there the hot tub was somewhat dirty and very foamy. We contacted the owner and she was very swift in coming to help us with it. She realized that the filter had not been properly working for a few days unfortunately. After that was fixed and chemicals were added, we had a really great week using the hot tub. The kayaks were an awesome feature as well but they are heavy and needed to be carried across the street to the dock that is actually not owned by the owner. There was some discrepancies when it came to who did own the dock. I believe that that will be resolved soon though. All in all a gorgeous home and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

We had a wonderful stay. Often we spent the mornings kayaking out on the lake when it was calm and afternoons meeting friends for lunch at one of the great restaurants nearby. Shopping for food could not have been easier. Top of the Rock has most of the basics plus an LCBO. Bison Burgers from Kimberly were a hit.

Property is really nicely decorated and there was tons of space for a family of 6. Location wasn’t the best so we ended up using the hot tub all weekend long. Good assortment of games and house has everything you need.
