Quaint, cozy bungalow located one block from downtown South Haven. Within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, farmers market and the beautiful South Haven beach!

4 Bedroom, 2 Full Bath, Sleeps 8-10!
Perfect for two families or a large group of friends.

Amenities include a four-season front porch, beautifully landscaped, fenced backyard, picnic table and outdoor furniture, updated living room and bedroom furniture throughout the home, full kitchen including dishwasher; washer and dryer, BBQ grill and fire pit. Towels and linens are included. But, you’ll want to bring some beach towels!

This home is approaching 100 years old! And although we adore it and keep up with repairs and updates, somethings are hard to change — it has squeaky hardwood floors. Does that add to the charm, or annoy the heck out of you? You decide! If you have kids or infants that are light sleepers, you may want to pass on this charming almost century home!

This property was perfect for us. Plenty of space for 4 people and plenty of room for more :) We were half mile from beach and less than two blocks from town. The backyard was also nice to hangout and play games. We loved this property so much, we booked it already for the same week next year !! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

We were in town for my daughter's wedding so didn't spent a lot of time at the house, but would definitely return. House location was awesome and it was extremely clean. Porch area was very nice to have. Accommodated our family of 7 with room to spare. We had no issues during our stay and would recommend this home to anyone coming to the area.

Wonderful stay! Location is perfect! House is old, the hardwood floors creak, but was very comfortable. Jenelle thought of everything, including coffee, & the essentials that are not usually provided (toilet paper, soap, etc). Would definitely stay there again! Thank you for a wonderful time!

We had a group of 9 stay in the place for the weekend and it was such an amazing time! The place is so beautiful, comfortable, and cozy! The place was also very close to fun restaurants on the water and to the beach! We loved our stay!!!

We knew ahead home was older. AC on warm side upstairs. Loved location close to town and beach. Very accommodating and clean. Some repairs needed. For our families 6 lots of room.An interesting addition of pavers working on sidewalk.

We loved staying in this bungalow! It had all of its original charm but updated where it needed to be. I was impressed that the upstairs stayed cool even when the temp hit the 90s! We had everything we needed and it was very clean and comfortable.

We had 4 adults and 4 children stay. A very charming old house. House was decorated nicely and is very functional. Kitchen worked well as we cooked most meals. Separate sleeping area upstairs for younger kids who had to go bed early. Very close to town and a short walk to beach. Perfect! It rained a lot one day and the basement gets quite a lot of water in it. There was also some dripping in upstairs bathroom. (I did relay this info to owner. Owner is very responsive at replying to issues) My sister, who is sensitive to mold, didn’t feel well during her stay. The water may have been the issue. Dryer wasn’t functioning when we arrived but was fixed on Wednesday so we could use thankfully. Overall the house was clean. However the sheets had some holes and stains on them, as well as towels had staining. These could use replacing. The upstairs vent fan in shower was heavily caked with dust. Its a lower ceiling in upstairs bathroom so easy to see and reach to clean. I bought some cleaning wipes and cleaned it. Overall, a good stay for this trip to South Haven.

Beautiful, charming, cozy home. It had everything needed, even Tupperware for some fresh strawberries I bought from the farmers market. We also loved the fans in the bedrooms and all the extra blankets. There were even hair dryers for use. We used the fire pit in back yard and cooked many meals in the kitchen. So many nice places to sit and drink our coffee outside. Nice walk to both the beach and town. We loved having the washing/dryer machines. The big bed in downstairs bedroom was very comfortable. The big bed upstairs was okay. The twin beds were very firm, not to our liking, but fine for kids. Can’t say enough nice things about this rental, it was perfect.

The house was perfect for our family of 5! It was as advertised and have everything we needed. We loved being able to grill out as well as enjoy a fire in the backyard. Also liked that it was less than a 10 minute walk to the main street as well as the beach🙂.

Lovely cottage home, comfortably furnished and beautifully appointed, on a quiet residential street a few blocks' walk to the beach, the riverside walk and marina, and the shopping district. Rich muted colors, warm wood trim, comfortable period furnishings, and careful attention to detail (fixtures, lighting, stained glass accents); pleasant flow from one space to another, with welcoming nooks including a screen porch with wicker chairs and chaise longue, and side and back porches with pergolas and climbing vines. Thoughtfully laid-out and well-equipped kitchen (charming and satisfyingly substantial crockery, glass- and stemware and cutlery; good-quality, well-maintained cookware and knives; very pleasant space, very cook-friendly; formal dining room with generous table seating 6 - 8. Wonderful light; picture windows opening onto delightful, peaceful porch and garden areas (we were fortunate to be there for peak Fall color). Comfortable beds; plenty of easily accessible linens and towels. Systems good for the most part: climate control excellent; utilities good, wireless reliable. Downside: plumbing a little persnickety and unenthusiastic. Upside: that corrugated toilet plunger was a revelation and a miracle. . . though pressed into service more than one might really want on a vacation weekend. Also note steep stairs to the second floor (double and twin bedrooms and master bath) -- but there are two bedrooms, sofa bed and full bath on the first. Stairs to enter, limited handicapped accessibility.

The location is perfect with a short walk to the downtown shopping and restaurants. The home is charming. The squeaky floors add to the charm. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of bath towels and blankets. The furnace was not working well the weekend we stayed, but, we spoke to the owner and she is having an hvac repairman take a look at it. We threw an extra blanket on the bed and we were fine. I like that we didn’t have to launder the sheets and towels before we left.

The house is very nice with updated appliances. It was walking distances from the beach and “the main drag”. Cute backyard with a fire pit. Only 1 pillow per person and not enough dishes and bath towels if you had 10 people.

This was our first time in South Haven. The house is perfectly located between the heart of the town and the beach. Cottage was cozy and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We would definitely come back.

It’s the little things that make this place great - soft sheets, mattress toppers, extra sponges under the sink, first aid kit, etc. the location was fabulous- easy walk to beach, town, harbor, playgrounds, and bike paths. We parked our car once and never moved it all week. House was clean and well stocked, fit all of our needs and had great charm. Owner is responsive- the thermostat went blank one day and we messaged her in the evening, she had a repairman out by 9 the next morning to see that a squirrel chewed through a wire and shorted out the system. Thanks so much for the memories!

Beautiful Home & Perfect Location

The home is beautiful, charming, and full of character! There were 7 of us who came to visit South Haven for a mother-daughter/ high school graduation trip (3 moms & 4 daughters). We had plenty of space in the home to spread out and relax, but also cozy up and spend time together. Jennelle was quick to respond to any questions I had and was a great hostess. We love South Haven, and this home is perfectly situated between downtown and South Beach. We would definitely book again.

The home is very well located super close to the city center and a short walk to south beach. The kids especially enjoyed the toys provided, it’s was a nice surprise that kept them busy on rainy days. We were two families with kids so having two bedrooms per floor gave us privacy. A couple of notes - the upstairs bedrooms are separated by French doors not shown in the pictures, so there is zero sound insulation between the two rooms. Also, the upstairs shower is very narrow. The backyard was perfect for the kiddos to run around.

We had a great time here during our stay in South Haven! The whole family (8 adults and 1 kid) fit comfortably in the house. Everything you would want to visit (restaurants, shops, beach, farmers market) are all within a short walking distance.

40+ group of 5 women. This house was perfectly comfortable and spacious. We loved it. Right off the main strip, we were able to walk everywhere and really enjoyed our stay. The house is old, but beautifully appointed and everything you could need was there. Floors are creaky but that was no problem, we felt. The many sitting areas are great too. Back yard feels very private even with neighbors.

We had such a great stay in this charming home! From hosting a couple high school friends in the back yard to walking to the beach and downtown and sharing meals at the dining room table, it was a relaxing get-away. The owner is responsive and enthusiastic about South Haven and the goodness of getting away. I wish I could have stayed another week!
