About this house rental
Location: Flagler Beach, Florida North East, Florida, USA (Nestled between Daytona Beach & St. Augustine)
Accommodations: House, 2 Bedrooms + Den, 1 Bath (Sleeps 6)
Keywords: Duplex
Flagler Beach is the best of all worlds. This quaint little beach home is a short walk to the beach. 1/2 block ( about a 1 minute walk.) It has a fenced backyard perfect for BBQ's or sunbathing. It has a nice porch on the front with a ocean glimpse and ocean breezes. The home is
walking distance to restaurants, shops, banks, post office and our wonderful Friday Farmer's Market. If you love explore or just soak up the good life, Flagler Beach is the place for you!
Flagler Beach has a farmers market every Friday for fresh fruits and vegetables. Marineland (63 year old) is only 20 minutes away. Swim with the dolphins, snorkel, and scuba in the only 450,000 gallon ocean fed tank in the United States.
Washington Oaks State Park only ten minutes away... Breathtaking beach with giant Coquina rocks dotting the shoreline and don't forget to view the exquisite gardens! We are located centrally to all of Florida's best destinations.
World famous Daytona Beach is approximately 15 miles to the south, with all of the night life and action you can possibly handle. St. Augustine, the nation's oldest city, is approximately 30 minutes drive to the north. Orlando attractions are approximately 90 minutes from your driveway.
There are many clear water springs for swimming, snorkeling, diving, or camping. Water is 72 degrees year round. Great for manatee encounters during winter months. Kennedy Space Center is approximately one hours drive. But the best of all, is Flager Beach, (better known as real Florida). It has unspoiled and un-crowded beaches. When you are tired of all the crowds and YOU WILL BE, come home and relax at your very own peaceful part of PARADISE.
The beach is about a minute walk away with ocean glimpse. We have a very large fishing pier within walking distance. Did somebody say SURFING? OH YEAH!!! Intracoastal Waterway five minutes. Did somebody say BOATING? OH YEAH!!! The perfect ending to your days will be the sound of the ocean as you fall asleep. Zzzzzzzzzz
Come enjoy some 'Fun In The Sun ' and oh yes, don't forget your sunscreen.

This is a great little 2 bedroom home just 2 blocks from the beach and a block from a nice park with tennis courts, pickleball and a kids playground. We like that you can walk almost anywhere for food or recreation once parked. We've stayed here with our kids in the past. Dog friendly.

We loved our stay in Flagler Beach at this ideal location. It met our needs perfectly and was a great fit for our senior dog. The house is somewhat dated and we wish the windows would have opened and the screens fit properly. We hope to come back here again next year!

I will try to leave balanced feedback. We cut our stay short as we were not happy with the property. The positives 1) great location close to beach, park, and entertainment 2) responsive host 3) low price. The negatives: 1) bathroom has black mold all around the air vent and mold in every seam, 2) the queen size bed sags in the middle, 3) bedroom blinds let in a lot of light, 4) house is junky and looks like a "handyman special", 5) yard is small and full of high grass/weeds. I will stop there, but could go on. One last comment, the day after we checked out, my wife had prescription medicine delivered, and rather than texting it arrived, the host's husband opened it (fortunately my wife arrived shortly afterwards.
While the price may below, you get what you pay for.

This was a fabulous location in Flagler beach. House was on corner with little grass area. You can literally see the water from the master bedroom; 2 min walk to the beach. Also, very close is children's park, Betty Steflik Preserve and Veteran's Park. Easy parking and access to the house. Owner was great in communicating.
House was clean and had many dishes, cups, pots and pans to use. Extra blankets and lots of towels. Starter paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap and trash bags. Bring cleaning supplies with you.
We managed to drag in a lot of beach sand for December. Easily cleaned with vacuum cleaner or sweeping but the white title floor throughout house didn't hide it well. Beach sand at the beach is expected, so no issues.
Pet covers on the couches were a nice touch and appreciated by my dog.
Washer and dryer available in little mud room off the kitchen. Yes, need to use between 9am and 7pm as stated by previous renter; dryer is a bit loud. (Keep the door closed.) This area could use some TLC but it's a make shift laundry room in the garage. Good for storage with buckets and pails, boogie boards, brooms, mops, etc. Not a place that you would want to hang out in.
Neighbors were pleasant and friendly. Be aware that there are feral cats in the neighborhood. They will sit on your car or under it at night. They roam the area but don't leave as the neighbors feed them. I was told the cats are all neutered.
Great place for small family with pet!

We stayed for the month of March 2023, the home is nice and in a great location! Although, your ad did not mention there would be a tenant in the rear and the water would be shared between the two units.
Also, there was a specified time when the laundry could be done between the hrs. of 9am-7pm “as to not disturb the tenant”! Not to mention the water pressure was very low dish washing, showering and forget waiting for the washer to fill.
The tv/Wi-Fi streaming service was slow and constantly buffering, maybe also shared with the tenant? The modem is located in the kitchen on top of the refrigerator not in the living room closer to the only TV.
The yard was a lot smaller than we thought and also shared with the tenant divided with a fence was really not usable. We did enjoy the screened in porch, but it is in need of new screening and the side patio furniture was not safe to sit on but a nice side patio.
Again, great location but would have liked to know prior to booking about these issues because they did make a difference in our stay at your home.

We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay! Listening to the ocean from the house was almost as soothing as looking at it from the backyard. We loved being able to walk one block to watch the sunset and lots of great spots to eat and/or drink in walking distance or a short drive. Carli was super nice and easy to communicate with with before and during our stay. Thank you Carla!

The house suit myself and 2 Labs. It’s 2 blocks from the ocean with a screened in front patio to enjoy the best ocean breezes, waves, and warmth.
The landlords are there to make your stay pleasurable.

This property has great location and accommodating for guests with dogs. Unfortunately the home smelled of mold quite bad and was not up to cleanliness standards. Stayed here with my adult daughter while we looked to by a home in the area, our stay was a month long. Perhaps if we stayed for a shorter amount of time it would have been fine. Overall I wouldn't say it was a bad stay but not good either. Property manager was easy to communicate with and understanding when the dogs chewed some blankets up which we replaced.

This is a roomy house in a fantastic location - only a block from the beach/boardwalk. Unlike many VRBO properties, this one had a very usable kitchen and a separate dining room. (The pots and pans were in bad shape, but Carla replace them with new ones when we left.) The living room furniture appeared to be new and there were lots and lots of towels including beach towels. The front porch was ragged, but she was getting her handy-man over when we left. She also put new furniture on the front porch shortly after we arrived and brought over new beach chairs for us. Carla was amazingly responsive and handled any problems expeditiously.
We would love to stay there again and would recommend it to others.

This is a great place to vacation. So close to everything! There was live music thumping on Friday and Saturday night from a nearby restaraunt, but nothing that would deter us from staying again. We loved hearing the ocean at night and walking on the dog beach two short blocks south!

We booked to come from Ohio to spend Christmas with my daughter/son in law who live down here while in Grad school. Unfortunately we came down with COVID the night before and could not come, but the owner was absolutely fantastic and prompt with communication and any questions we had leading up to it.

First, location of this property is excellent. You are able to walk almost every where. Everything you may need is close by.
The house provides a home style vacation site. There are enough pot, pans dishes etc to provide nice home cooked meals. We even baked 12 mini loaves of zucchini bread from zucchini purchased at the farmers market just down the street.
The house is comfortable, but the bath needs updating and the drainage in the shower and sink is an issue. The kitchen appliances could use updating but they are functional
The host even provides beach towels and beach toys that my grandchild enjoyed when he visited. Overall I was very happy for my month long stay.,

It was so close to the beach and shops and restaurants! We never had to drive anywhere! The house is beautiful and very clean. We were there with our 3 teens and there was plenty of room for all of us. Best vacation! We can't wait to stay again. 🏖️😊

So far been nice. Close enough to talk to most things. Close to the park, tennis court, although its spring break time and a lot of kids hanging out at the park walk area , the police were present when the kids were getting a little more then just being kids. Other than that nice area nice time. A few things could be updated or fixed in the house but all in all a nice place to stay. Would love to stay again .

Thank you for helping to make our 50th Anniversary a little more special. The bottle of wine and card were a pleasant surprise and very much appreciated. We appreciate your being able to work with us and let us stay in Paradise. We learned alot on this trip and we welcomed your patience and understanding. You are a great hostess and we would recommend your homes to anyone looking for a fun beach vacation. We hope to be able to return. Cheylola, our Chinese Crested, loved the back yard.
