Emerald Bay II - A great, well-maintained home steps from the beach in Surfside Beach. The house is located on the north end of Surfside, a very nice street in Surfside. The house was built in 2008, very clean, with a good-sized pool. We keep it meticulously clean, are continuing to add nice amenities to the house. There are 6 TVs, 2 with DVD players and Chromcast sticks for your use.. We also have free wireless throughout the house. There is a beautiful cherry hardwood floor in the living area, new paint each year, and an electronic door lock to minimize the possibility of key loss. Check out the paver deck for the private pool! In 2019, we added a screened-in porch with fans, and it is THE spot where everyone relaxes with a drink in the evening, overlooking the pool. In 2020, we replaced the den furniture. All bedrooms have hardwood & it looks GREAT! We also have a charcoal grill with outdoor seating. The interior is painted each year, and touched up throughout the summer to ensure it remains VERY CLEAN with updated amenities.

This is one of the few properties in Surfside with 5 bedrooms, so including extended family in your vacation is another plus. The house is a duplex, in the pictures, it is the house on the right. The pool is private, it's NOT shared with any other property. The pool is not heated.

The beach, which is less than 100 yards from the front door is a guarded, public access beach; it is wide and clean, with no high-rises to crowd the beach. North Surfside is nice because it is close to the restaurants in the center of Surfside without the traffic on the streets. Your children can ride their bikes in the street or fish at the nearby lake.

There's plenty to do in the area. Surfside has a nice little downtown, with open-air restaurants, small shops, and a fishing pier. Just a few minutes away in Myrtle Beach is a boardwalk and amusement park, lots of restaurants, and shopping. The location of Surfside Beach is great if golf is part of your vacation. Surfside is about 20 minutes north of Pawley's Island, and about 30 minutes south of North Myrtle Beach. There are over 100 golf courses within a 30 minutes drive.

This house rents only to families and responsible adults. This house is not available to groups of young adults/college students on break.

only be charged if there is an issue at the property during your stay. This service
reduces the cost to you.
+ Our cleaning fee is only $135, significantly less than other properties.
+ Linen service ($160) is included in all rentals, and is $25-$50 less for the week than
most others.
+ the costs listed for weekly rent are the complete costs, including all taxes.
+ all transactions are securely processed through VRBO. This service entitles
you to the benefits offered by VRBO's traveler service.
+ in 2020, VRBO began to require the renters pay taxes through VRBO. As a result, I
have lowered rates by 8% per week to offset this increase.

My sister in law just moved to the area, we took our sons to see her new house and stayed at Emerald Bay II. We enjoyed the private rooms with bathrooms. The pool was great to cool off in. The beach is a block away. Murrells Inlet is our Favorite for live music and is minutes away. We will return again!

This house was amazing! It was absolutely perfect for our family! The house was clean, very spacious and had a great layout! We loved the decks overlooking the pool! The pool was also perfect for our family! The adults loved it as much as the grandchildren! The distance to the beach was a very short and easy walk! Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby! I would highly recommend Emerald Bay II - our family will definitely return to this house!

We loved Joe's home! The house is beautiful and plenty of room for 5 girlfriends. It was only 1 block to the beach, with a pool in the back yard and a screened in porch. Joe was very responsive to our needs. The only downfall was the cleanliness. While it wasn't filthy it did need a good deep clean. We all agreed that we would stay here again and recommend his home!

Loved the comfort and convenience that you will have with this property. Everything was close by and the beach steps away. The house was spacious enough where everyone had their own "getaway" yet perfect for the family dinner. Highly recommend that you book this one right away if available. The owner is very responsive and accommodating for those unexpected instances that may occur. We will be back when in the area.

I stayed here with family over Easter & it was great!! Plenty of room for 9 of us to spread out. Home had above & beyond as far as kitchen dishes, pans, etc. We enjoyed provided games & boogie boards etc for the beach!!

Property and location to the beach were amazing. My kids loved the place. They wanted to stay longer. Every bedroom had access a bathroom. There were board games available which made perfect family game night. The owner was very quick to responding to questions.

First of all there was no sheets or pillow cases. It looked like old child pee stains on mattresses. Bed bugs were biting us from the beds. We basically had to sleep on the floor. My wife had to get a hotel due to the conditions of the property. This was a great location but had issues with the stay. We wanted to stay here because of the space needed and it was just a place to lay our heads for the night.

I stayed at Joe's property with my husband, two kids, in-laws, and sister in law's family. Since booking the trip a year prior, I was very happy with Joe's responsiveness and communication. We traveled from CA to visit, and overall I was very happy with our stay. You can't beat the location, it was the perfect walking distance with four young children. We cooked at home every evening, thanks to the fully stocked kitchen, and we also utilized the charcoal grill. The board games available to guests were also a nice touch. We enjoyed playing Clue once the kids went to bed. The property was one of the cleaner ones we've stayed at (previous years we've had to stay at pet-friendly properties). I did find an empty beer can and cigarette butts on the back porch hidden behind the couch. Not the owner's fault, but perhaps the property's cleaners could be more thorough regarding the outdoor spaces. When I reached out to Joe about an issue during the week, he was quick to respond and sent a plumber over right away. Overall, I would stay there again. A great family -friendly spot!

We absolutely loved the close proximity to the beach, just a short walk! Also, there were some great restaurants & shopping close by. The rental was nice and clean, as advertised. It gave us plenty of space to spread out. We enjoyed sitting by the pool in the afternoons & relaxing on the back screened in porch. Joe checked in with us the morning after we arrived. We had an issue with a missing shower head in the master bathroom. It took 2 days, but the plumber finally did replace it. Luckily, we had plenty of other bathrooms for showers. Some in our party were disappointed that we could not open any of the windows for fresh air. We had to rely on the sliders, only. Overall, we would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a place in the Surfside area. We had a wonderful vacation with family filled with great memories. Thank you!

This is a nice house in a good location. Check in was super easy. The pool is very nice and the screened in porch is amazing. All the amenities we needed were there and accessible. Two of the showers were walk in showers which was very nice because we had one with a broken foot and one with bad hip so it make it very convient for them. My only complaints is there are no curtains in the bedrooms only blinds and it gets really bright in the rooms as soon as the sun comes up and that the stairs needed a really good cleaning due to all the sand build up. Overall though and great place to stay !

Made such wonderful memories during our trip! Growing up we always made family Surfside beach trips and this was our first with my son and brother’s family and my parents. Host was very accommodating in fixing any issues we had day one. Loved the location and the pool was a life saver!

Joe was great to work with in arranging our stay. The house was good sized for a family of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids). Proximity to beach was perfect and the private pool was perfect for the kids.

Property is in good shape and in a great location. Beach is a really short walk away. Pool is nice and screened in porch overlooking pool was a great place to play family games at night. Had a few issues but owner was quick to respond. I would definitely rent this again.

Great location ! My elderly parents joined us and they did great with the 3 house walk to beach front ! Plenty of room for our family of 7 , great pool and lounge chairs too . Screened in porch was fantastic . Only negative was the the screened in porched could use a deep cleaning or power washing , and new cushion on porch furniture

The renting process was easy. The owner requires a signed lease. The rental does not come with linen and towels. The owner has a linen package available for $150. The package was not there when we checked in. The owner was contacted and the linen was delivered within hours. The house is well furnished and is very close to the beach. You do not need a golf cart at this property. The private pool is clean but small.
