About this house rental
This is a beautiful 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home situated in the best location in Ocean Lakes on a quiet dead end street yet in walking distance to everything. The house sits 300 feet from the beach and close to the Recreation Center, pool and waterpark. There are two large decks with beautiful views of Magnolia Lake. The first floor contains the master bedroom, a full bathroom, a family room and a kitchen with seating for a large family. The second floor has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms have Queen beds and one has 2 sets of bunk beds. One of the Queen rooms has a crib and one has a small sitting area. There is a fully enclosed shower on the ground level as well as a seating area and a grill. There is parking for 4 vehicles. Cars must be registered with Ocean Lakes for a charge of $10 per night

Our family spend a long weekend here. My brother and his family flew in from Colorado and I was able to meet my nephew and see him enjoy the beach and ocean for the first time. The house was cozy and provided everything that we needed. The location was ideal that we could walk to the beach, the pool, or the store. The only thing that I would say was an issue was having to have all linens and towels picked up 2 hours prior to checking out as this made it difficult for people to shower/sleep in and caused a mad rush. Other than this, we absolutely loved our stay. Robin was extremely helpful and responsive when we had any questions. She even checked in halfway through our stay to make sure that everything was good. We will definitely be back.

Myrtle Beach is our favorite Spring Break vacation . We all agree this is the best home we have ever stayed in. We plan to make it our yearly home away from home. The owners are amazing and completely helpful. The house has everything you could possibly need. It’s close to everything like the beach, park and cafes. We recommend this place to everyone.

Loved staying at the house. We had a fabulous time and it was very clean. Just wish there were a few “back up things” like salt and pepper, trash bags, dish washing pods … maybe two of each to give you something to work with when you get there until you can get to the store to grab it.
Was not a fan of the laundry service provided. They leave the linens outside for you. You put them on the beds and strip beds before you leave. We weren’t given the correct sized sheets (not owners fault) and I feel having the sheets already on the beds would eliminate this problem.

The location was great and the street was perfect for the kids to play. Beautiful view of the pond. House was perfect for a large party of people. Comfortable beds and very spacious. Kitchen was filled and labeled with supplies.

The house was very nice, spacious and, for us, was in a good location. The owner communicated well. We would definitely stay again.
Only (minor) drawback was that a golf car was not included. However, I certainly understand it is probably a hassle to include a golf car so this is not a complaint at all.

Absolutely Perfect
Great location! Short walk to the beach and pool. We loved fishing in the lake in front of our house. The house was very clean and beautiful with a well stocked kitchen. Host was very friendly and responsive! Would love to book again in future.

The listing is very accurate. House and community was super fun. This house has a full kitchen, but unlike other properties I’ve been in there isn’t anything more than pots, pans, utensils. Needed to bring paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags and any cooking essentials (or salt, oil, etc..). There is also a linen fee and you will arrive needing to make all the beds and then strip beds before leaving. Linen collection is 2 hours before checkout!! This place would be great for local travelers, but not so much for long distance travelers (from ca). All things considered, we were all very happy with the house and it’s location.

This was our first time staying at this rental but fourth time at Ocean Lakes - we can't wait to return and would definitely book this place again! Plenty of space for our family of four, along with some extended family. The kids loved the bunk room. Perfect location for getting to the beach or the water park. Highly recommend!

Great location!
This property is located on a dead end street and only two houses and a parking lot between the house and arcade. Two houses, parking lot, cross the street, and over the dunes and you are on the beach. Less than A five minute walk. A golf cart isn’t necessary for transportation. A lake is location in front of the residence which was very relaxing. Great porch. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Be sure to register your cars in advance.

Great location and lots to do!
A lovely house just a short walk to the beach and lots of amenities like indoor & outdoor pools, arcade, convenience store, ice cream, etc. The only thing I was suprised about but it's probably just that I didn't notice at first is that we had to bring all our own linens (bedding & towels). Overall we loved this place and would love to go back again! Thank you Robin!

Awesome home in Ocean Lakes!
We have been coming to Ocean Lakes for several years now and have done everything from camping to staying in the condos. This particular site is beautiful! It is close to everything you need within the campground but is also located on a quiet road that did not have frequent traffic. The house was extremely nice, clean and comfy for my family of 13. There is ample seating room both inside and outside. We enjoyed great communication with the property owner and hope to stay here again in the future!

Roomy house and good location
Place was as advertised. Conveniently located close to both the pool area as well as the beach. Plenty of room for 11 people (7 being 16 and older). Robin was in communication throughout and helped with the checkin process. My only advice would be to take Ocean Lakes up on the pre checkin to get your parking pass....we got there at 4 o'clock along with everyone else checking in for the week so that was pretty backed up. If you express, you can go right through the side entrance just south of main (and save some time). Would definitely rent this location and stay at Ocean Lakes again.

Great house with a great location in Ocean Lakes
Our entire family stayed here during one of the Halloween weekends this year. It's a great house. Lots of seating for a large family. The porch is large with a dining table, rocking chairs. Great location, just a couple of blocks from the beach and on a street facing the lake. Great place if you want to fish or just enjoy and less busy street. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone planning a trip to Ocean Lakes.

Location, location!
Our family of fourteen spent the last week of June in this lovely home. We considered renting a golf cart but on arrival realized that everything was so convenient we should spend our money elsewhere. Robin and her husband were very responsive to all our needs.

Perfect for a multi-generational family vacation
Perfect location for all family members. Us older folks enjoyed sitting on the deck enjoying the lake view while the grandkids could walk to the pool and water park. Waterpark was perfect for grandkids 4, 8, and 10yrs - loved the slide and tube rides..even my 77 year old father-in-law went down the water slide. Home is well stocked with all you need - we rarely left the resort. Rented a golf cart and our kids and grandkids enjoyed the golf cart "parade" each evening. Beach was close and well maintain - all enjoyed that as well.

Wonderful for the entire family, Robin was very responsive and helpful
This was our first time staying at Ocean Lakes. The first two houses we rented fell through but we were very happy with this house. We had three different families with us and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked and there was room for several cooks in the kitchen. I had the king sized bed on the first floor and found the mattress very comfortable - I got a good night sleep the first night. The kids loved how close we were to the water park and arcade (where they made their nightly ice cream run.) It is a short walk to the beach which made our morning walks especially nice. Robin was very responsive to my questions and was genuinely concerned that everything was in order and we were having a good time. We encountered a few cold rainy days but sat around the kitchen table for family game time. My only complaint is that the week flew by and I have to wait another year to go back. I would certainly rent this house again.
