We had a wonderful stay in this house! There were private rooms for all of the couples and a loft area for the grandkids. The kitchen was very well appointed, We played away during the day and had relaxing nights in the home. There were two gathering areas. Sometimes we were all together and sometimes the adults were in one area and the grandkids in another. We highly recommend this home.

We had a great time. The grandkids loved the swing set and the games in the garage. Layout of the cabin provided plenty of room and accessibility to needs and made for a very enjoyable stay. Thank you!

This property is great for a large family group. The kids loved the outside swing set and the basketball hoop, ping pong table, and foose ball table in the garage. Comfy beds. Large kitchen and kitchen table. This isn’t a complaint but the kitchen had limited cookware, utensils, etc so if you are planning on cooking any large meals you might consider bringing what you need. It was a very enjoyable stay!

The cabin was great. It made for a great place to use as a home base while we explored Yellowstone, went shopping, or decided to hang out.

This place was prefect for my family. We had our family of 10 (6 grown kids, 2 grandkids ages 5 & 7, myself and husband) stay here for 5 days. There was one bedroom and two beds in the loft area we never even touched. The two kitchens were great and the the laundry room plus the garage washer and dryer was prefect for our large group. They even had laundry soap which was great since I forgot ours. The kitchen was fully stocked with equipment. The little store down the road is expensive so bring what you need. We visited Yellowstone every day and loved it. It’s a great place and it was plenty of space for everyone to spread out.

The cabin was so comfortable and fun! It was clean and had everything we needed and more! It was easy to find and close to the main road, but in the woods far enough to make it feel like you weren’t. Everyone loved it and we would love to come again.

Our family of ten really enjoyed staying in this house. There was plenty of room for all of us, and there were many thoughtful provisions available, such as fans, nice towels, paper and soap products, spices, plenty of kitchen/cooking items, and more. In addition, the beds, bedding, and pillows were very comfortable. We also loved that the windows and doors opened to enjoy the cool/cold nights, and there were screens which kept the bugs out! Plus, with two kitchens and three fridges, we had more than enough space for all of our food. Our family group consisted of couples in their 60s, one couple in their 80s, and one couple in their 30s. The most difficult part in the house were the stairs for some of us, but we managed. The railings at the top of the stairs need to be tightened, though, because they were a bit wobbly. We also appreciated the quick response to fix the couple of problems we had.
The drive to West Yellowstone was nice and really didn’t seem long, so the house’s proximity to Yellowstone is convenient.
I have to mention Mesa Falls also. We went there after we moved out our last morning. It’s not too far from the house, and it’s a must-see. Not only is the setting beautiful with a magnificent waterfall, river, canyon, and vegetation, there was a big rainbow to the left of the waterfall the whole time we were there. It was just wonderful!
Overall, I would recommend this house, and if we ever come back to Yellowstone, we would love to stay here again.

This house was great for our large family. Kids and adults were able to have their own spaces. Bunk room worked awesome for the kiddos.

Cabin has 2 kitchen 2 living areas and plenty of beds. The beds were really comfortable and showers were great. Make sure to get groceries in ID falls or rexburg before you drive from the south. Grill was nice and deck seating was good. We had a bit of an issue with trash cans but was fixed by end of the week. Go see the stars if you get a chance you can see the Milky Way. Plan to cook because there aren’t many restaurants near by, a few but not many.

We stayed for 3 nights while we visited Yellowstone National Park. The drive was an easy one into the park each morning and was great to be out of the overly crowded spaces. The garage space was amazing for all the kids to play basketball or foosball or just run around in general. There was excessive dust that a good pressure wash might be helpful to knock down, I'm not sure how great that was for the lungs in long exposures, but overall the kids spent much of the time we were at the house in there. There were ample rooms to spread families out and to socialize in the evenings. Definitely recommend for a large group.

This property was very clean and well maintained. We had a great time with our extended family. Very nice that you could snowmobile directly from the property. The heated garage was an added bonus! The only negative is the garbage service, but it was a very snowy week and outside garbage cans were not emptied.

My family and I all had a fantastic time staying here! It was big and clean and beautiful and housed us beautifully! It was about 20 minutes from the Yellowstone entrance and an hour to an hour and a half from the parts of the Park that we were visibly. Overall, we really enjoyed this place, would recommend it and would return to it again if given the chance.

Fun time at Yellowstone
My family and I enjoyed our recent stay with you and our visit to Yellowstone and the Tetons very much. The cabin was large and quite adequate for our 17 member family. It was clean and neat. We did find that one lamp in a bedroom had to be plugged in in order to use, plus several of the electrical outlets did not work. We needed more washcloths. We appreciated having two washers and dryers available. Overall we had a very happy and enjoyable stay! Corrie Becham. (June 9-14, 2022).

Fun cabin
This cabin has a lot of room for the right activities. The garage has foos ball, ping pong, and a lot of space with a great industrial space heater. The rest of the cabin has a kitchen both upstairs and downstairs. There is a twin bed in one room down, a queen in the second down. Large screen tv down. Upstairs the master has a commodious bath and balcony, a twin, another queen, and then a room FULL of beds for a group like 4 twin beds. Large bench table up, another large screen tv.
The gas fireplaces are hard to start but VERY warm. The thermostats are large and easy to adjust. The cleaning crew was taken by surprise as we arrived to a full layer of snow on the porch and a messy oven.
Our group of 14 had more than enough room to spread out or congregate. We were warm and comfy and felt very happy to have found this property 30min from the west entrance to Yellowstone.

Very nice but no AC.
The cabin was very nice but there was no AC and it was in was hot. If you stay in the cooler weather it probably would have been fine. Just opening the windows did not get it cool enough for us being from Georgia.

Adult Sibling Family Reinion
The location of the property was perfect. We floated the Box Canyon, drove up to Sawtelle, explored Island Park, attended the Yellowstone Playhouse, and visited Yellowstone Park. These activities were all easily accomplished because of the proximity of the Smith Cabin to all of them. The cabin was clean, well appointed, and had lots of room for the 8 of us. We really enjoyed our time there and appreciated the great communication by the cabin owner Ty. We would certainly recommend it to anyone wishing to spend time in Island Park!
