Amapas 353 is a boutique building just 150 feet off Los Muertos Beach and Blue Chairs Beach in the Amapas area of Romantica Zone in Puerto Vallarta. A 2-4 minute walk to the beach. The building is located on a small hill - with approximately 80 stairs that take you right to the beach (or go down the road one block for less of an incline).
This unit is a luxury1 BR (king bed with gel mattress topper), 2 Ba with 1,150 square feet (107 square meters). In addition, there is a queen-plus (67" wide) sized sleeper sofa in the living area, and a queen, electric-pump air mattress. The building has an elevator and is technically on the 4th floor. The 4th floor is located 7 stories up from ocean side entrance and 1 story up from mountain side entrance.
The unit, named "Casa de las Olas" (House of the Waves) has great ocean breezes that cool and refresh the condo in minutes. Fully equipped kitchen with granite counters, fridge, microwave, stove, dishwasher, toaster, blender and coffee maker, etc. Washer and dryer in the unit. This condo has its own water purification system in the kitchen and a digital safe box. It offers a nice size living room with dining table sitting area. The 2 full bathrooms have rainwater shower heads and granite counters.
On the rooftop of the building is a beautiful heated infinity pool with amazing views. There is also a covered gazebo area, sink and BBQ. Building has a very nice gym on a lower level. The building is one block to beaches and close to great restaurants, night life, shopping.

Love the views of the bay/beach from the condo. The photos and description are as advertised. We want to return! The balcony was great to hang out with coffee/evening cocktail. The condo is well furnished and was comfortable and very clean/well maintained. We loved the "bonus" of having 2 full bathrooms with walk in showers! As we were there in the summer/August the AC worked wonders to keep the place (and us!) cool. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pans, etc. Enjoyed doing some cooking while looking out over the ocean. Property manager Moises was great. He contacted us before our stay. Met us at the condo when we arrived, showed us around, etc. Very helpful. A big plus to the property is the roof top infinity pool. We spent a lot of time in the pool and it was great. Amazing views from the top of the building to all of PV. There are 2 entrances - the main off Highway 200 - had about 7-8 steps up to the front door of the condo. The lower Amapas entrance led to the street - you take an elevator down and you are right on the street. A small slope down into the Romantic Zone. Steep stairs to the beach or you can follow the road on the next block. Several small grocery stores in easy walking distance. Negative - we though shower pressure was a bit weak. Also road noise in bedroom in mornings. Noise from Almar Rooftop Bar - not a big deal at all - enjoyed the show - ended at 10:30 pm. It was only 2x during our stay. Don't miss out on this rental!

Everything about this place is amazing. We were greeted by Moises when we arrived. He walked us through the condo and property. The views were sooo amazing. Nicely furnished, very clean, and conveniently located walking distance to about any restaraunt or bar that you would want. The beach is just stair steps away and the rooftop infinity pool is a great place to relax and watch the sunset. Look forward to coming back AGAIN!!

We had an great stay at Amapas 353 and highly recommend the condo. Moises was excellent and helped us with everything we needed, especially check-in and check-out. The condo was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location - very easy to walk to the beach and other areas of Amapas and Zona Romantica. We will absolutely stay here again on future trips to Puerto Vallarta!

The property was just what we were looking for. The view was absolutely stunning. No matter the weather (which was great), you can always enjoy the outdoors with the gorgeous view of the ocean. The condo was clean, well stocked with towels, and included simple conveniences such has phone chargers and hair dryers. Only a short walk to the beach and ZR. Moises, the building manager was very nice, accommodating, and provided excellent service. My partner secretly arranged with him to have flowers and champagne as a surprise upon arrival. Everything was wonderful and cannot wait to return!

For me there is no better place to stay in Zona Romantica than 353 Amapas. Even far more expensive and high end properties cannot compare to the perfection of this place. A beautiful, well constructed modern building, with all the comforts of home, and more so. The condo is handsome and roomy and well appointed, with classy decor, and bigger than my apartment at home. And for someone who wilts easily in the heat, the state of the art air conditioning is a life-saver. The double bathroom/double shower is a fantastic bonus, and so is the rooftop infinity pool, lounge and grill area, and the building also has a great little gym with varied and excellent equipment. Of course, the pièce de résistance is the spectacular, expansive, and unparalleled view of Banderas Bay from the spacious balcony, and each morning sitting there with a cup of coffee (made in the equally expansive and well appointed kitchen), or at sunset with a glass of wine is an incomparable experience. Going to the beach? Exit the building on Calle Amapas and across the street is a stone stairway leading directly down to Playa de Los Muertos. The access could not be more convenient or easy. The building is both high above the ZR, but only a brief short stroll to the village; that it serves both these aspects, an escape to a peaceful sanctuary away from the hubbub of town, but only a 5 minute stroll into the heart of that hubbub is miraculous. No better place to stay.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Old Town. The condo has a great view and you can see and hear the crashing waves. You may also hear the evening music from Hotel Matamar, but that is part of the charm. Blair is an organized host and he provides a very welcomed manual that tells you about every appliance, the condo in general and suggestions about the area. The management team that does the check in and provides contact during your stay is excellent and punctual. The condo is spotless and organized and the kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The air conditioning works very well and the feel of the condo is comfortable and modern. The building has a gym, reliable security and great roof top with an infinity pool.

This was our second time staying at this condo. I can't say enough about the unit, the overall building and location. There is a great rooftop pool with a dining area, outdoor kitchen and grill. The on-site gym is great for weights, a few machines and some cardio, so you really don't have to join a gym while visiting.
The management company is extremely responsive and made check-in/out is really easy. And housekeeping services are including and also very professional.
The kitchen is very well appointed and has just about everything you need if you choose to cook at home. The rest of the condo is terrific, very comfortable with 2 large showers and nice bathrooms.
Looking forward to staying here again in 2025!

This was our second stay here and even better than the first. Everything was great. Only one little thing (and probably a general problem ) was that the first three days had very limited wifi. But Elvis was on it. Still kept going out though till the 4th day. But then no more problems with it at all. A true home away from home! Thank you!

Best condo and area we have stayed in. My Husband and i have been visiting PV for 11 years at least once a year or more. from Moises meeting us at the condo for check in to the easy check out. We watched whales from the balcony. The view is the best. The pool area is beautiful, the view here is the best as well and the locals that live here were delightful to visit with. Easy walk to resteraunts, beach, shopping..The club next door was not the loud interruption on other reviews we expected. The furniture and bed is so comfy, it truly is 5 star hotel quality. We hope this condo is available for our next visit. Perfect stay.

Incredible view. Great location. Roof top infinity pool was warm and awesome. Unit is well stocked. We used the sleeper sofa to enjoy the view 24/7. Close to everything. Only downside is neighbors roof top bar/restaurant that has nightly shows. Sometimes ends at 10 but a couple nights till midnight or later. Very bright lights and loud dj/music. However, everything else is stellar so after a couple of nights we realized we'd comeback for another stay. Too nice!! Daytime at pool was quiet, beautiful and uncrowded.

Check in was easy. David met us at the front door of the secure building and he gave us a nice tour of the apartment and building. The Condo was modern and perfectly clean. It was a hot week and the AC kept the place nice and cool. The views from the balcony and the living room/kitchen are absolutely breathtaking. The rooftop infinity pool area was gorgeous and relaxing. You are literally a staircase away from the beach. This condo had everything we needed and was in a great location. We’d definitely stay here again.

We would definitely stay here again. Our only frustration was the lack of comfortable seating in the condo. The pictures show a comfy sofa but when we arrived - it was on vacation somewhere else. The only seating was a backless bench or the backless bar stools or the hard plastic dining chairs. We ended up pulling in the patio chairs for something a little more comfortable to sit in to get out of the heat. That one issue is the only one we had, everything else was amazing!

I want this condo for myself! It’s beautifully decorated, convenient for getting around, and hard to leave because of the views. The building has a wonderful gym and rooftop. The owner and managing company provided excellent service. My only complaint—it's hard to leave. If I could afford to stay for a month, this condo would be the perfect spot. 5 stars!

This condo is super organized and well stocked. The furniture is comfortable and the bed is great with comfy pillows. The air-conditioning is top notch and everything about the condo demonstrates the care and pride the owner has in his place. The art is warm and welcoming. The building has excellent security and a reliable elevator. There is also a very nice small gym in the building that is rarely occupied.
There is a very comprehensive manual provided at the condo that makes everything run smoothly and easy to figure out. I wish that every place I rented was as organized, clean and up to date as this place. The layout is excellent and two washrooms are a great feature. The roof top deck with infinity pool are ideal for quiets afternoons or to watch the sunset.

This is the absolute best VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. The location is absolutely perfect- just a short walk to the heart of Zona Romantica, which is the best area in Puerto Vallarta to stay in. The condo was immaculate and the bed was extremely comfortable! The best part, however, has to be the view. Spend an hour on the rooftop just as the sun sets - you won’t regret it!

Once again (repeat stay and we’ll be back again), an amazing time at an amazing place. The unit hasn’t changed much from last year and we love it! Everything is clean and well stocked, kitchen is large and equipped for everything we needed. The balcony has a phenomenal view and the location is perfect for hanging out in the romantic zone. The rooftop pool is our favorite place to hang out during the day. The building is quiet, relaxing, and secure. The beach is just down the hill when you need some sand time. We are already looking forward to next year!

The only suggestion I gave was to upgrade the living room blinds to better block the sun - in the afternoon (happy hour time), it would be a much better experience to not have so much heat coming in with the sun shining directly into the room. Otherwise, this place is a great value for the money and we have already requested to book for next year.

We were absolutely thrilled with this very well appointed, very attractive property. As well with it's location and most of all the unobstructed views. Communication from the very beginning was excellent and everyone we encountered was very helpful and professional. This property is probably the best condo we have stayed in over the past 12 years. With the exception of Hacienda san Angel (which is unique & wonderful, but more than twice the price), this is our favorite property.
The kitchen is the most well appointed we have seen in PV, which made it fun to cook in.
The rooftop terrace with the pool and outdoor entertaining area was wonderful to wind down at during sunset. And everyone we met, from other visitors to permanent residents were all so friendly and welcoming.
