About this cabin rental
Blending in with nature’s inherent beauty, overlooking the lake is this architectural wonder that even the Woodpeckers mistaken for a tree. Plenty of space for a large family to spread out and find their own restful place. A huge kitchen opens to a spacious living area with a wall of sliding glass windows that open to your very own 1400 sq foot wrap around deck. Plenty of seating along the perimeter of this huge deck, as well as patio sets to look down on your dock where you tie up your boat. Walk out of your bedrooms right onto the deck with your morning coffee to enjoy the birds chirping and catch a deer grazing nearby. Or enjoy the most glorious sunsets from the mid century modern patio furniture right outside your bedroom. The closest unit to the beautifully engineered stone steps leading to the docks where your boat will be awaiting you, makes this cabin an amazing catch.

After driving past Pheasants, a Turkey Vulture, deer and 3 turkeys we arrived at Woodpecker and our collective bodies relaxed as our smiles went up
Been wanting to get away, unplug and enjoy lake living and we sure as heck did
Having our own dock with SUPs and a kayak at our disposal, as well as that view, we were at a want of nothing.
Rented a pontoon boat for a day of cruising around then back to Woodpecker for BBQ, Bday cake and gifts
Here we are 3 days out from our stay and we are still talking about it and scrolling through the photos

What a wonderful place to stay..the place wonderful for the price. The views and outdoor living was awesome. Richard and Allison were the very best property managers I have encountered. The only tiny negative (and it’s only negative if you have bad knees or are older) is the trek to get to the boat slip. Other than that it was perfect

great place!
Lakefront Landsend is a wonderful place to stay! Communal, serene, cozy and spacious. Mandi is a terrific manager and was so responsive with lots of terrific recommendations. If you plan on heading into town/spending time away from Bradley, schedule ahead with local taxis

Much Needed Getaway
We really enjoyed Lake Nacimiento and making memories here. Our family has endured multiple losses in such a short amount of time, so a small getaway here was just what we needed. We felt so refreshed and uplifted after our trip. The views from the property were simply breathtaking. The property itself was clean, cozy and refreshing! We also got the chance to rent a pontoon boat on Saturday as my husband is an avid fisher, so this place was perfect for him as well.

Just what we needed
Such a great place. A little of the beaten path but such a great location. Really enjoyed the layout of the house and the huge Deck. Spent every sunrise and sunset out there. The dock that was assigned to our house was perfect. There were chairs and plenty of shade. The house had everything we needed to have a great time.

Amazing location and amenities!
We rented four of the houses and everyone loved the location and houses. You can't beat the location, private docks, beachfront, and ability to be all together for larger groups. The house were well appointed and came stocked with all you needed for cooking and enjoying the stay. The balconies were great to take in the empty lake early morning and sunset. Definitely will be going back!

Great Location. Wonderful staff
More rustic than the pictures, but very comfortable and a good lake experience. The site manager, Mindy, was terrific. So helpful and welcoming. As the lake was dropping at the time of the stay the dock we were assigned to use was hard to get at. Very steep. Would consider a return for sure.

Excellent Family Retreat
The Woodpecker House was a fantastic choice for a non-traditional Christmas retreat for our family. We (8 adults and a child under 2) all had a great time at the lake. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax in the manner each person desired. The caretakers were extremely helpful in meeting our needs, and we were able to enjoy some lovely mornings paddle boarding and kayaking. The house felt festive and homey, and we were pleasantly surprised by how well-stocked the kitchen was! Lands End was great to work with, and they were very accommodating about last-minute requests and modifications to our stay. I would recommend this location for anyone wanting a peaceful getaway, and I would definitely book with them again. Thank you for a memorable holiday!

Great place to stay
We had spend last weekend there, and it was really an amazing experience. We have enjoyed a lot.
We reached there on Thrush day night and we were pleasantly surprised. Based on our last log house experience we brought most of the items, however, we did not open most of them. We were surprised to see all the options and things. It had smart TV, modern sound systems etc. All of them where new or like new.
Another exciting part was boat and lake. We had access to private decks and all of them had paddle boat and kayaks. We enjoyed them a lot. The best part was we need to carry our own. It was all included in the price of lake house. I will remember the experience for long and may come back to renew my memories.
If you like to play games, it is best lake house for you. They have all kinds of game without any missing parts. You will love it.
Altogether, it was a great experience and we will remember it for long.
