We have love the location, property interior decoration, room size, and view.
On the other hand, the amount of notes around the property were just annoying. There is a note on the restroom kind of threatening the guests with charges, nots hand writing on the elevator with capital letters, and exclamation points; kind of like yelling.
As professional adults we understand that we are not in our home, but we are paying to have a relaxing time without instructions every time that you look around.

Lovely apt. Very comfortable and interesting artwork.

Lovely, comfortable suite with everything we needed for our overnight visit. The clear stained glass windows separating the rooms was beautiful as was the iridescent tiled bathroom. Will definitely try to stay again when we lhave time to enjoy the deck patio area.

Spent two nights. Very close to downtown. Perfect for a couple who want to get away for a long weekend. View from the deck is amazing.

I liked how unique it was and how decorated it was and I especially love the bathroom with the open shower. The biggest problem I had was the bed was very uncomfortable and all the signs everywhere

One of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. The apartment itself was gorgeous, and my kids got a big kick out of having an elevator. The deck was stunning. I enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk down the hill (and back up!) to access restaurants, grocery stores, etc., while also being only 5 minutes from a small park for morning strolls. We didn't have a car the second day we were there, and I was worried about walkability after reading reviews. But if you're in decent physical shape, you'll be fine. My two teenagers slept on the air mattress, with no problems. Plenty of room for the four of us.
Best of all was Vicki, who was friendly but unobtrusive, as well as exceedingly accommodating when I requested an early check-in.
Highly recommend to others.

Vicky is a wonderful host. The clean apartment is furnished with an eye for details and has a separate bedroom, large bathroom, kitchen and spacious dining room. The kitchen has everything you need. The bed is comfortable. The large deck has a nice view of Portland. The apartment is located in one of the better areas of Portland. It is a 40 minute walk to the center. There is also a bus. In short, everything you need for a relaxing and pleasant stay close to the city.

Vicki's home is in a quiet and beautifully treed part of Portland with amazing views from the deck. The space is quirky in the best sense, very clean and inviting. Parking is easy and there is a fantastic restaurant within walking distance. Vicki was lovely and i wish we could've stayed longer!

Location is lovely, great deck for looking out over Portland. Comfortable, beautiful furnishings, warm and lovely, everything we needed, for the most part.
However, the route is long from town, up winding and steep tiny roads. Luckily Vicki suggested we go to the Vista Cafe, easy walking distance, with great food and ambiance. Would not have been worth traveling down the hill for a quick meal.
Also, very inconvenient to have to blow up the air mattress and make the bed each night, maybe consider a hide a bed?

What an amazing house this is! Beautiful in all the details and craftsmanship. One of the nicest places I have ever stayed at. The view from the third floor deck is gorgeous. Would definitely stay again.

We were just there for one night but it is a lovely, spacious, well equipped place. It had everything we needed, absolutely wonderful. I recommend it highly!

Everything in this quaint space was a feast for the eyes but the view from the veranda was so beautiful we couldn’t get enough. Vicki provided everything we needed including privacy. Loved this place!!!

Vicki and her property are incredibly lovely, hands down. The space is so unique and the ambiance is immaculate! My two close friends and I stayed just for a night, but we will most definitely be back for our little jaunts up to PDX from Eugene. (The view from the deck is breathtaking, too!) HIGHLY recommend!!! Thank you, Vicki!!! :)

As newbies to Portland, we had heard far too many negative things about the city. We were determined not to let that sour our stay and Vicki's rental played a huge role in that effort! The neighborhood is very central to downtown yet tucked away in a beautiful, lush corner of the city. There are some hills and lovely foliage - feels very private and protected. The space itself is very beautiful and made us instantly wish we'd be staying longer than one night. Vicki was very responsive via Vrbo/text, and she thoughtfully left instructional notes throughout the apartment. The environment provided the peaceful respite we needed - truly met our need for vacation! I encourage you to book right away, should you be on the fence about staying there. All the aesthetic details are a treat, and my husband especially loved the bathroom. Enjoy, friends, and thank you, Vicki!

Overall, this place was enjoyable. It is located in an established neighbourhood. The street and suite itself has character and charm, and the host was very responsive. However, unfortunately, we were the victim of a vehicle break in. Our vehicle window was smashed and several items were stolen. Our vehicle was parked on the street in front of the suite, where we were staying. Unfortuntely, crime is high in Portland, regardless of where you are - just make sure not to leave any valuables in your car.

Vicki’s suite is a lovely, spacious and comfortable spot to stay near downtown and Washington Park. It’s beautifully decorated with Vicki’s artwork, and has gorgeous views - such a special place for our first visit to Portland! We enjoyed having a separate sitting room from the bedroom and also access to the 3rd-floor deck to watch birds among all the trees. Thank you, Vicki!

We had another wonderful stay at Vicki's place in Portland. We would love to come to return.

We regretted not allowing for more time in this amazing and unique rental. I could imagine making it a home-base for multiple days. The neighborhood is up a few steep hills but makes the view so worth it. Vicki is a beautiful and warm person.

Vicki was a wonderful host. Her home is lovely and this is the perfect time of year to visit.

Enjoyed our stay. Vicki is a great host who made us feel welcome. She also gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant nearby. I’ll definitely stay there again when I’m in Portland.

What a delightful find! Vicki's apartment is stunningly presented with every little detail thought out.
It is located in a beautiful district of Portland. We walked to the Rose/Japanese gardens, and there are numerous trails to feel like they are in the middle of woods instead of a city.
There are restaurants nearby, but our favourite spot to eat was on the home's deck, which boasts a view of Mt Hood in the distance.
We will certainly stay here again if/when we return to Portland.

We only stayed one night, but can't wait to visit again. My husband and I loved this VRBO. The bed was comfortable, the unit was quiet, and there is plenty of street parking. We especially loved taking the elevator down to the unit, think 1930's style. We didn't get to enjoy the deck, but can't wait to come back and enjoy the view the next time we are in Portland.

This apartment is a delight! It's beautiful, quiet, comfortable, and has an amazing view! I couldn't be happier with my stay. The unit is clearly and thoughtfully labeled with instructions wherever questions might arise, so it was easy for me to settle in, and feel at ease and enjoy the ambience! An elegantly relaxing treat for a Portland getaway!

We had a fantastic time. The view is stunning! Fun to use the elevator coming and going. Great little conversations with Vicki as we came and went, but we were totally separate in the apartment. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend for anyone needing a restful getaway. Also, it is extremely convenient for how separated it feels. Downtown library is about a 5 minute drive.

Great place to spend time in Portland - great location - an "artsy" little apartment that is totally private.... bath and bedroom are great - kitchen is designed more for coffee than cooking - great little neighborhood restaurant down the hill.

Absolutely beautiful experience. We've never stayed at a property quite like this. So many thoughtful touches! Artsy, cozy, well loved and well curated throughout. Wish we had more than one night. The shower? Incredible. The location? Perfection. The hospitality? Above and beyond. The view? Extraordinary. We'd love to return when in PDX.

You get a charming little section of the provider's house that is accessible through a somewhat scary but pretty cool elevator. The bathroom is amazing and the patio is beautiful.
